All those who had negative experience with souq.com and were cheated should lodge complaint with Consumer Protection Association of Saudi Arabia (https://cpa.org.sa). They are very effective in disciplinary action against cheaters.
Also lodge complaint with Amazon.com, which recently acquired Souq.com
RIDICULOUS, poor, pitiful, miserable, wretched,, insubstantial, unsatisfactory, worthless, absurd, and MUCH MORE WORST company SOUQ. COMITEM WAS FAULTY NOT WORKING, FIVE TIME I COMPLAINED FOR EXCHANGE/RETURN BUT NO RESPONSEWASTE OF MONEY TIME
I had ordered a new Sony Xperia Z3 (32GB, Android) online through Souq.com. The Sony mobile phone supplied is a counterfeit. Within 3 weeks the brittle mobile screen cracked with impact with my keys kept in my front trousers pocket. On calling their customer services, to my surprise, I am told this item does not carry a warranty and I should get it done from their recommended repair shop.
Can anyone imagine a Sony mobile is sold without warranty? Souq knows the sold product is counterfeit and thus as willful cheating does not provide a warranty.
I did not receive any response from Souq in spite of many follow-ups online. Later, on my follow-up messages; I started getting a standard repeated message:
"This ticket has been closed as we haven't heard back from you for a while after sending you our resolution and response. However, don't worry you can still contact us via the Contact Us page on our website or calling our Customer Services Team https://support.souq.com/helpdesk/tickets/*******"
Currently, this product is lying as a waste. The screen replacement cost around AED 170-220/- which is around 50-70% of the mobile cost. I would like souq.com to take responsibility for their products sold thru their portal and get this mobile repaired or amount refunded immediately.
Souq delivery agent refuse to open and see if its the correct item or not so i refuse o to receive very bad service the worst ever they want me to pay and after 2 weeks i can ask for refund

First time I bought one TV. "Philips" as advertised. But, Upon purchase, I understood that the same is fake. Moreover, the seal was opened. Having very old look. The item returned upon my complaint and they promised it will never happen again.
Trusting them ordered one more item "NIKAI" considering that the product itself is cheap and therefore, least probability of counterfeited item.
Upon receipt of the second item, it is confirmed that the same is also a fake product and was an old one rather than their promise.
From my experience, I never recommend anybody to buy anything from Souq.

I have ordered dell xps 13 9360 and they delivered dell xps 13 9350
It is an older version and there is a huge price difference also. Everywhere it was written model 9360 but the actual laptop was 9350 and I knew it from "windows about menu"

Fake product they lie about every thing... I bought a mobile in on souq.com and get totally different model. Total disappointment. Not recommended at all
Those people at souq.com delivered to me broken package and they refuse to take it back and refund the money. Those people should be in Jail. Now they posted on the site that the product is delivered, What they deliver to me is two broken jars of Honey. The delivery boy calls every couple of days to tell me he's coming to collect it, but he never shows up.
I don't know how these people are still running a business in Egypt.
Worst service i ever faced. I ordered camera on 24th Nov delivery they gave delivery date 2nd December. I gave my office address and mentioned timings 9 AM to 5 PM, didn't get it on on time and December4th night 7.30 pm delivery guy called. I asked delivery boy to deliver next day in between 9 AM to 4 PM he told he will deliver next day. But next day i also i dint get my item i called that guy he is saying today i am in other location i don't know where is your order and with whom it is.
Immediately i called souq heir response is worst and what they are saying is item got cancelled.
I asked who cancelled they are saying delivery boy cancelled.
Funny part is who is the delivery guy to cancel my order.
Souq customer care response is we will refund your money you can order same item from souq.

I do remember, year back I had bought a Samasung Galaxy Note 8 from it's official Souq_Shop, later I knew that it's not a brand new device (as per sold) rather it was finely refurbished device, I tried to return the item but never accepted my claim.
I have never experienced an awful online shopping experience ever in my life. And this is my first time to write a review because I am extremely mad and I would like to share so that no one can ever order from them. So I ordered 6 items and only 4 items got delivered. Keep in mind that it was all paid for. However when I called they didn't give me a proper explanation, their customer representative is very poor. They do not repose to my email. They refunded back the money for the items that was not delivered and what made it worse is that they only refunded back the money for one item. What about the 2nd one? See how cheaters they are. Moreover, one of the 6 items I ordered Was a mascara that turned out to be absolutely fake. Please do not order from souq. It's a scam and worse experience.
21st November ordered trainers, today is 5th os December passed 14 days, still no response tomorrow i will call to police to sort this problem out. They have to know their place and have to work with respect to their customers...
They never delivery on time and also will not keep the customer know about it if there is a delay. Also when you call them up to know the status, they don't know anything about the status apart from what we can see in the app / website. They simply give a generic / standard response saying that the delay is due to the "High Demand"! Poor planning on stocking & delivery and they make the customer struggle. This is my 3rd order and I'm suffering without any update from them and my very 1st order itself was cancelled due to delays. It was a mistake to order from them again!
I made as order on November 22, with an expected delivery date of December 1st.
I waited at home all day for this order, and continuously tracking the delivery. At around 3:30pm I got a text message saying that my order will be delayed by a day. When I called customer service, I was told that their "warehouse was full" and that my delivery will be delayed by 48 hours.
I'm not being given an exact time for delivery, and I have no one at home to accept the package but myself. My time was wasted today, and I expect to waste more time accommodating to their bad scheduling. Very disappointing and unprofessional service.
Noon.com is better than you guys, Amazon means its worst customer service. Product ordered on Nov 10,15 days for delivering in Dubai south (Just opposite the souq.com warehouse in DIP)
Total mess,
I bought an item and paid for quick delivery to my office address, specifically mentioned office so next day they claimed nobody was in the office. Once checked, they tried to deliver 11:38 PM, at midnight... then they promised second day deliver and never showed up. Their call center can't do anything... last time, I learned the lesson.
I had a worst exprience from souque. They are well cheaters i ever saw in my life. Stuppids. I will stop all my friends those are dealing with souque. Lets see. I will spread this mesaage also...
Don't do card payment with souq, you will be stuck with them, I have purchased a product from souq FBS on 8th November and use card payment, but today its 20th November i didn't received the product for which i already paid, i raised complaint like 5 times in 5 days and every time they telling me i will receive it today, but no one reaches to my address, when i ask them to refund they are telling me it will take 7 - 10 days.

Answer: They are not allowing to open the consignment and will ask if any non-conformance you contact SOUQ customer service and they will refund. But remember refund is a hell process and finally you will say go to hell i no need any thing. Like i did

Answer: Do not. You are more than likely to not get a warranty with your purchase. Even if the phone is broken from manufacturers side they will not refund your money. I used to buy from them all the time. The last time I decided to buy wifi extenders, I brought 3. One of them blew up as soon as I plugged it in. I explained this to them, first they accused me of using it wrong (it's an extender you are supposed to plug it into a wall socket - I had set up the previous 2 the same way). Then they tried to claim they won't take it back because I opened it... Illogical stupid excuses for why they wouldn't refund my money. They refused even to exchange it. That was this time last year and since then I've never ordered from them again.
Answer: Not at all. Its an auctioned product which i got, which was not working and already expired one. You will not get warranty for that, if you need to confirm this, just take the serial number of mobile and go to apple store. Please dont ve cheated.
Answer: Typical Souq.com. File a report with the Department of Economic Development or the Dubai Police.
