My transaction with ecyclebest was good. I did not know that my damaged iphone 5c was worth $60 until I sold it to ecyclebest. I was satisfied and I received my check fast.
They sent me a quote of $197.00 for my phone. THEY REFUSED TO RETURN MY PHONE, then sent $27.00 to PayPal. Seriously! My phone was in excellent condition, i would understand if they sent a reduced value but honestly $27.00. Waited 30 minutes on hold to talk to a representative who basically said there is no getting my phone back.
Sent in a cell phone appraised at 160.00 and was offered 9 when they got it. Tried to have it returned and they say oops too late. Too late? I responded the instant I was informed and it's too late! Avoid this place at all cost!
As with all the other reviewers... I was too quoted a wonderful price then given a bad offer. Tried for days to contact customer service but only get placed on hold and never helped...
STAY AWAY
I have sold phones through the Internet before. They quoted me over $300 for an iPhone that I tokd them was not functioning and would not turn on. I never got an email stating what they were going to give me after inspection. I received $33! I called and they said they sent out an email regarding the amount. No email in my junk, spam or regular inbox. This place is a scam. Don't sell ur phone to them for pennies. In addition when I tried to contact them from the phone number listed on my account I was mysteriously disconnected 4 times. Called from my house phone and got right though, although the person answering the phone was no help at all.
COMPLETE SCAM. This company is a complete scam. They quoted me $200 for my iPhone 5 and then paid me $15.00. I never received an email telling me the price would be different. When I called their "Customer Service" they claimed it must have gone to my spam folder. When I stated that they had stolen my phone the person said "Well, if you're not going to be reasonable, I am going to hang up. Have a nice day." And with that, she hung up.
TOTAL SCAM. DO NOT SEND THEM YOUR DEVICE. THEY WILL STEAL IT.
The website quoted a preliminary offer of $95 for a four-year-old, barely used HP laptop in like-new condition. I used the shipping label eCycle provided and my own box to mail them the laptop; it took 18 days for the package to arrive at their location, and the tracking number they provided was worthless... It gave no current location status or ETA, and, suspiciously, the date mailed was "unavailable." I tried emailing the company for an update and received only auto-generated replies from Brian, "Customer Service Champion," which said they do not reply to emails and to please call Customer Service. Multiple attempts to do so resulted in receiving a recorded answer and being placed on hold for an indeterminate amount of time (the longest I held on was 20 minutes); needless to say, I never reached a live person. I finally received an email stating my laptop had been received and was awaiting inspection; a week later, I received a "congratulatory" email notifying me I had been paid $14 for my laptop, which, again, had barely been used and was in excellent condition. I was NOT given the opportunity to accept or decline the offer. I have declined the payment by issuing them a PayPal refund and requesting that they return my computer immediately; I am giving them five business days to respond before I file a complaint with the BBB and possibly the authorities in Nevada. My guess is, they are using high offers to lure people to send electronics, and mining the devices for personal data (which a good hacker can find even on wiped hard drives) to be used to commit the crime of IDENTITY THEFT. I was stupid and did not do my homework; I urge others to not make the same mistake.
Recently sent in a Nokia device in excellent "just out of the box" condition. All accessories were included. The eCycleBest website quoted a $303 dollar value, but after they had custody of the device they only provided $47. They are still quoting $303 for a trade value for this device. They didn't respond to questions. Never again. This is a scam operation.
THIS SITE IS A SCAM! BEWARE! I wish I spent more time researching this company before sending in my phone. I was promised $157 and was sent $12. The phone was in perfect condition, yet they claim it was scratched and the power button didn't work. It was a load of ----. The phone worked perfectly; they're just dishonest schiesters out to rip off the public. DO NOT SEND THEM ANYTHING! They will rip you off.
The website http://www.cashforlaptops.com/ also known as www.ecyclesbest.com gave me an initial estimate of $160 for selling them my Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 After having sent in the Tablet they sent me a payment of $12.00 for the device. The device had a broken screen. Retail price to repair would have been $100. The device sells for currently $175 refurbished. This is a bait and switch. They paid an unfair rate for the device. They have a disclaimer on the website, so I suppose it is not illegal, however, it is unethical.

Are all scam outfits owned by the same company doing business as LDR, LLC.
DO NOT USE ANY OF THESE COMPANIES.
Their Modus Operandi is to quote you the highest price hoping you will send in your phone, tablet or laptop and then they give you about 10% of that offer. You then have to report them to the BBB to get them to offer you a bit more money - still not what they quoted.
Again DO NOT USE ANY OF THESE COMPANIES
I WAS SCAMMED BY WWW.CASHFORLAPTOPS.COM THIS COMPANY. I WAS QUOTED $150.00 DOLLARS AND WAS ONLY PAID $23.00. THEY RUSH TO SEND YOU A SHIPPING LABEL AND FOLLOWU P TO BE SURE YOU HAVE SENT YOUR DEVICE. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS POOR, INCORRECT TRACKING NUMBERS ARE GIVEN. YOU CANNOT REQUEST YOU LAPTOP BACK IN WRITING. YOU HAVE TO REQUEST OVER THE PHONE. WHEN YOU CALL OVER THE PHONE YOU HERE 20 MINUTES OR MORE OF MUSIC AND IF YOU LEAVE A MESSAGE YOU DO NOT GET A CALL BACK. NO GOOD LUCK WILL CONTINUE WITH THIS COMPANY.
Do I have to give it a star? I was promised $220 at the time I mailed it in. Was notified I would receive a check for $16. A total scam. Avoid Ecyclebest at all costs. Unless of course you don't care about money. Simply put, they have zero trustability.
Answer: Would LOVE to get these crooks, maybe a legal aide group could take this on.
Answer: I am having the same issue, the phone number does not work its only a voicemail. They are acutally stealing our equipment through the mail. I just filed a compliant with the ATTORNEY GENERAL in NV. Everyone else should do the same.
