I had never heard of EconomyBookings prior to my recent four week trip to Hawaii. I tried them and booked a 10 day rental for Maui, by far they had the best price. I was satisfied with the rental and booked my second week in Oahu, also the best price and also very satisfied. Yesterday I booked my final week on the Big Island And flew into Kona today, picking up the rental car. Again very satisfied. I would recommend this company to anyone and will use them again when I search for future rental cars
If I could rate zero i would! This was the worst experience with them. It was our first time trying this agency. We booked for a Hyundai H1 and Hyundai Accent (under car rental sixt)on April 25th to pick up on April 28th at 9pm at Tabuk international airport Saudi Arabia. When we arrived there on April 28th at 9:30, the rental company told us it is not available and THEY CANT PROVIDE ANYTHING! We have our family with us including kids. It was terrible! Few minutes since we knew the problem, I called the contact number for economy bookings and no one is answering! Had already spent hundreds of riyals for the prepaid load since they don't have a toll free number. I emailed them right after and got the response after 2 days. They told us that they will review and will get the response after 14days! Never will book again with them!
Too much to say but they robbed my $694 disability money for a supposedly on hold charge until pick up car. No car and no RESPONSE

I rented the car through this company, it was a very good positive experience. The agent team was very friendly and very supportive.
We booked through Economy Bookings and also purchased 'Full Cover' and 'Roadside Assistance' to ensure a smooth rental. It turned out that the 'Full Cover' is very limited to 1700 euros! The Roadside Assistance is only accessible by telephoning Latvia! I requested a local number, which they eventually provided, but when I phoned it to test that it was correct no-one answered. I tried phoning several times and held on the line for over 20 minutes but no-one answered. I then contacted Economy Bookings again and requested a refund as the service is clearly not a service at all but they didn't respond again. Not a company I would ever want to have dealings with as there are plenty of other agents available in Vancouver who provide the same service in an honest way.

I rented through economy bookings for protland, Oregon 4/13-4/20/2022. Price was $1,000.00 LESS than all other prices i could find. They booked through AVIS and I had a brand new car with 6k miles on it for my visit. The process was easy and fast. I was very pleased with this rental and will use economy bookings in the future.
This company is a complete scam! They present an "unbeatable price" on their website to lure customers. However, upon arrival, I had paid $500 more. Don't get the insurance they offer because it is completely useless. I had to pay for insurance again. They take a week to respond to emails, and when they do, they offer no help. If you want a pleasant experience with no "surprises" look somewhere else.

A lot of rental companies have continued to disappoint past few years but the experience with economy booking and dollar was the best experience ever.
We had a very large car for our extended family, good condition baby seats and boosters, Car overall great, would use this company again, queues were long at the airport but worth it.
I rented a car last month for my vacation. When I got there, they said they didn't have any car, so you should rent a car at another rental company. I was really annoyed, but I had to do. And They said that I absolutely can get a refund back within few days. But I couldn't get my money back yet. And I don't know if they would refund it. Don't use this site if you want to keep your money safe.

Easy pick up and drop off. Great service friendly staff at pickup counter. Car was exactly as advertised.
Website permits to find what we wanted for a good price but once at the pick-up location, the renter made us waiting 90min and delivered a compact when I paid for a full size. No way to discuss when we brought car back, renter's systems were down and we had an aircraft to take…
Going on a 2 week road trip from California, Vegas and Arizona we needed the room and we did know that a big vehicle was going to cost a large sum. With economy bookings we received a larger vehicle for the same price we had received from another company.

Regret to have booked through Economybookings and not directly on the Car Rental webpage because they totally failed to give notice of the Car Rental's pick up working hours at DFW International Airport, which was half an hour after my flight arrival. No time at all to land, get off the plane, into the shuttle and the rental car facility on time. Ended up renting another car for an additional day to get out of the airport and come back the next day to retrieve the original paid rental I was not getting a refund for due to their very tight, unfair policies. Neverthless to say that Dollar car Rental denied any responsability or simpathy to the customer or were willing to take notes for the unpleasent experience from a third party partner. WILL NOT USE ANY OF YOUR SERVICE AGAIN.

I booked a car hire online and the price at the end of the booking when I did payment was not the price quoted. I called immediately and emailed to cancel but was unable to get through. I spoke to someone the next day who said I would get a refund. Spoke to a different person a few days later who said no refund a very unprofessional company I would not advise using

Price Per Day $18.86 9 days = $169.74 + taxes and maybe some other fees but no other optional addons
Total Booking cost $390.18 which translates into $43.35 a day
How can there be a $220.44 difference between there quoted daily rate and the total cost?
Apparently the hook is $18.86 is for one day after that they hit you with full price rental.
My mistake was being blinded by the cheap rate and booking assuming that was the rate for the whole rental I did not check the final price.
Now I am being charged $90 for canceling

Never used EconomyBookings before but they showed SIXT with the lowest price. Picked up the car at JFKK airport. Very friendly staff, they even upgraded me from a Nissan Sentra to a Volvo S 60.
Answer: They do not just delay. When something goes wrong, they never intend to make good ony any of their promises: they do not call or write back, they do not follow up, and sure as hell they do not pay you anything unless you force them to, and that (in my experience) can only be done via the courts. This company is rotten and everyone should stay away from them.
Answer: Economy Booking is based in Europe and is impossible to deal with. I would never use them again. I got my money back (the down payment taken off at the time of booking) by using better Business Bureau and going after the US rental company.
