Returning the vehicle was fast and good
I lost 900€ for arriving three minutes late to pick up the car. I'd called in advance to let them know I'd be late. They don't respect your formal complaints and they took three months to tell me they would not refund me my money! Money they never spent because I was never given a car. I'll be waiting for their computer generated response to this complaint. Horrible customer service!
The site was nice, order process was clear, all prices was shown and filters helped me to find what I wanted
One Switch is a fraud. Stay away from them! We have never even got the car.
Pick up has been scheduled and confirmed by One Switch outside their operating hours. We have learned it the hard way: upon the arrival at the airport, not being able to get to the final destination and making a bunch of ad hoc expenses (such as driving all over the place with uber)
The first thing next day in the morning, we have called One Switch to check if they are effectively open, confirm their address and car availability (all 3 confirmed to us on the phone)
However when we finally got to One Switch 'office' (which is a dirty garage with not a single indication that One Switch is actually loacted there) we have been informed that we are not going to get the car because of NO SHOW. If there was any no show - it was on the side of One Switch (they were closed at the time of agreed pick up and they knew it from the beginning)
What was even more outrageous, is that the same employee has told us, that there are cars available and that we can get the one which we have ordered, if we place a new booking and pay again.
We obviously refused.
There was no manager present to proceed with an escalation
When I have asked One Switch ('in cognito' employee who would not introduce herself), how can I raise a dispute or a claim against them, the employee told me that I am supposed to call the manager.
They do not even have any official way of raising disputes or claims at One Switch. After insisting to get anything on paper from One Switch I got a 'visit card' from a individual; however the card was not even stating One Switch as company.
The employee of One Switch also wanted to send us away without any document. I insisted on receiving a document from them, stating the reason why they reject to fulfill their contractual agreement.
The employee has printed one pager with the booking details and 'no show' stated at the top of the page. She did not bother to put any signature, date or a company stamp. She only did so after I told her I would not leave 'the office'.

We ordered a car in Tenerife, definitely ordering an automatic transmission and insurance, but on the spot it turned out that our order was for a car with a manual transmission and no insurance.
Which was impossible to prove.

Booked car in Spain - Malaga...However reading again and again their conditions (all in small letters - be aware!)I have decided to cancel my booking.I had an cancelation insurance however it's is now a month from cancellation and still no money refund! I am reporting today to Bank and Police about the fraud!
Also, no response from the Economybookings about the refund!

I made a reservation for a car in New Zealand and bought the full coverage. I had an accident and paid about 1500$US to the local car company and then asked for a payment from EconomyBooking. They asked for more data that I provided immediately and since then (more than 3 months!) nothing! Do not answer my emails and for sure no payment!
I heard that they do it for others as well. Also people reported that if they cancelled they didn't get teh deposit back!

Purchased a full car insurance policy of Full Coverage when booked the rental car from Economy Bookings. Without knowing the reason, the sun visor was damaged and had to pay some Euro300 to the rental car company. Filed the claim report to Full Coverage which was declined.
It requested to provide so much information such as police report, bank statements evidencing payment to the rental car company, pictures of damaged sun visor and +++. More than 2 months later, received an email from the Full Coverage that '.Unfortunately damage to the car's interior is not covered by the Full Coverage policy. We refer to our Full Coverage Terms and Conditions:
10.3. What is not covered?
10.3.5. Cleaning costs or damage to the car's interior or mechanical parts...'
It never told me about this in detail when I booked. It is totally waste of money and time - never purchase an insurance policy from Full Coverage. You will get nothing from it. Attached said terms and conditions for your reference.

I want to start by saying that this is the first and last time i'm using your services after the service I received at the Mohammed V airport (Casablanca Morocco).
The person who was supposed to get us the car was so rude and made us wait about an hour to get us our car, he was literally on his phone in the parking lot the entire time His argument was that the car is still in the inspection phase without even an apology. In addition to that they put a hold of $1500 on my bank account which I've never seen before. That car he brought us was filthy with scratches and dented all around.
I wanted to cancel my reservation before getting the car but they refused saying that we cannot process the cancellation or reimbursement. The lady I spoke to on the phone in the airport office was so rude, explaining that I have no choice but to take the car they gave me because I already paid and that I'm kind of trapped because the rental process has already begun.
Calling the customer service was a joke. There was no way to talk to a real person to solve the issue.
Leaving the airport disgusted and upset about the unacceptable customer service is not a great way to start the vacation.

In short used them to book a car in Tampa Florida. Quoted one price and got another when the booking was over. Called them and they told me that the extra costs weren't from them but from the actual tea t a car company. Fast forward… the day of the rental car, I went to the RW natal desk, I was asked a bunch of questions, gave my drivers license and credit card was given a receipt and then was told they didn't have a car for me.)That's an entirely different story.) I left a got a car else where. On my return, I call ECONOMY BOOKINGS and told them the issue. I was told they couldn't help me an I need to email customer support. I did. 4 TIMES and got nothing. Not a peep! Called again today and before they could tell me to email, I spoke to some who looked it up and said they are very busy and it could take 10 days. When I explained that it's been longer than 10 days, she told me 21 days. At that point I knew I was screwed!
DO NOT, DO NOT, DO NOT use them! SCAM!
Between not getting my refund and needing to rent a different car from a different company I paid 50% higher than I would have if I just went to a reputable company.

The prices are great and many options to choose from. The only issue is the insurance process as I preferred to pay for the insurance provided by the rental company for better assurance and ease of processing.
I rented a car and paid extra so could cancel up to one hour before and get full refund on June Las Vegas trip. I canceled a day before the trip but was still charged $38.69fee. They are a UK company so I have no recourse to get fee refunded.

Avoid this company at all costs! We booked a car through them. When my husband realized they had the time of pickup incorrect, he tried to call the company. He was never able to get a hold of anyone, so he drove out to the company to try and straighten out the time for pickup in person. When he arrived, he was told that he would not be getting the car that he rented - they were not going to give him the car at any point tomorrow. We have already paid the $300. We have been scammed out of the money, and we still do not have a car, and we are supposed to be leaving at 8am tomorrow morning. We can't get anyone at Economy Bookings to speak with us. We have had to call our bank and put in a fraud claim against this company. Absolutely do not use them. They are scammers. I am furious at having been swindled, and I do not anyone else to fall into their trap. AVOID THIS COMPANY.

Never use this company! I booked a rental back in July and €250+ was taken but, absolutely NO rental confirmation email was sent to tell me I EVEN had a car. So, I ended up having rent from ANOTHER company. After several emails back and forth telling this company that they needed to refund my money for a non-existent reservation, I was told that because I agreed to their rental terms they wouldn't be able to refund my money. How can you agree to something you never received?
I am definitely NOT recommending economybookings.com as they seem very unprofessional and I received better service from other more reputable car rental companies.

Very terrible experience! I rent a car through the economy bookings in April. They charged me $106 deposit (I can't understand why they charge me this money), and explained to be received 3-28 workings days. Now, three months passed, I haven't received any deposit back. I tried to call them, but the number is canceled. I sent the emails twice to them, they replied they are seeking the information. Are you kidding me? For three months seeking?

I cancelled rent almost 1 month before starting of rent, they charged my credit card and sent compensation voucher (On site written - "full refund in case of cancellation".
I do not want this compensation voucher and want refund.
Phone support does not discuss this issue (say: "Only by mail").
But they do not reply to mails.

Don't use this site, we had an issue with our booking. Lost the credit card with the primary drivers name on it. Tried to resolve it at the Thrifty pickup location. EconomyBookings staff refused to help. Even Thrifty staff said it was ridiculous and asked to talk to their supervisor but were just told no. To fix it all the needed to do was update the name on the booking but they refused to do it. Now they are trying to claim $1400 of my money for no service provided. What a joke! Had no other option but to make a new booking. Feels like a scam and I am going to raise it with consumer affairs we.

I booked a VW Nivus for a 4 week rental via EconomyBookings website. On arrival received a lower model and advise by car rental company they don't even stock this car. Been stuck with the lower model for 1 week already. I feel misled and ripped off.

Answer: They do not just delay. When something goes wrong, they never intend to make good ony any of their promises: they do not call or write back, they do not follow up, and sure as hell they do not pay you anything unless you force them to, and that (in my experience) can only be done via the courts. This company is rotten and everyone should stay away from them.
Answer: Economy Booking is based in Europe and is impossible to deal with. I would never use them again. I got my money back (the down payment taken off at the time of booking) by using better Business Bureau and going after the US rental company.
Answer: A complete shambolic company that cons people out of money!
