We used economybookings.com for finding a best deal for us in Sicily and got it. The whole process was smooth from the desk at the airport to giving a car back. After the car was reviewed we had a deposit back on card at the desk immediately. The customer service was simply superb. Economybookings.com did everything we needed. Sent us vouchers, instructed on documents we had to have in place, added information about our flight, so if it gets delayed, the rental bureau was informed etc. Btw we did not buy full coverage at all. We had unlimited mileage, basic insurance, airport surcharge, 24h assistance, road fees and local taxes included. We are very pleased we chose this aggregator and had no problems everyone is writing about. Wish you a nice journeys and holidays!

When you book, summary says unlimited miles. After you paid for the car, they tell you 150 miles per day only. What is this? They have no customer service. The people who answer the phone -- IF they answer -- was very rude and was no help. They actually don't have any cars to rent. Instead they are like priceline where they bid on these cars for you for a fee. If they don't get the bid, they tell you there are no cars available... days later. With priceline, at least they tell you right away if you have a car or not. They paid people to put fake 'good' reviews. Its a scam.

In Aug. 2017, I booked a car from Economy Booking website, Booking Number (B*******) for 10 days with a total cost of 388.63 Euro, they mentioned that the amount due is 146.47 Euro and the amount pay when i receive the car is 242.16 Euro will be charge by Megadrive, the company will give me the car so they charged my credit card 146.47 Euro. I return the car to Mega drive after 7 days on 20Aug. 2017, they calculate the total rent and send me the final invoice which equal to 367.00 Euro. I sent email to Mega drive asking about the due amount (146.47 Euro)that the Economy Booking charged my credit card in the beginning of the reservation, they answer me that it is not included in the rental cost, so the Economy Booking Company wrongly charged me 142.47 Euro. They took the money which they don't deserve. I sent them several email, but no response.

Did the reservation via their website and got the voucher and the invoice. They cashed the money on the spot, but at the end of my flight there was no car booked on my name. Struggled to find a working tel number - the one in mobile app doesn't work - spent hours waiting with a robot on roaming rates just to get some stupid apologies from a dumb assistant who didn't know what she was talking about.
Avoid them as much as possible

This place is a sham. If you rent from here after reading all the reviews, you deserve what you get. I pre-paid for a car back in April. Approx. 5 hours after I booked the car I fell and hurt my knee. I had to cancel my trip and the car. I immediately called Economy booking and left several phone and email messages.
Economy says 24/7 on one page and different hours on another. Scammers. When I finally spoke to someone about 8 hours later, they told me "NO REFUND, NOT EVEN IF YOUR DEAD."
I told them that I can give them a Doctor's note along with a reasonable amount of my deposit or they could hold the money for a future rental. Again, no way, you get no refund.
I appealed to my credit card company (Visa, Commenity Bank) and they had the same response as E/B. Thanks for nothing. Don't use them either.
Remember, if there is any possibility at all that you may have to cancel using this company you will lose your entire amount you paid. Use American companies.

This company will give you absolutely NO customer service and no support whatsoever. The car rental may or may not get through, but most of all DO NOT buy their "full protection" of your excess (deductible) for rental insurance. We paid for the full protection, got the confirmation email and then, without our consent they decided to cancel it! Of course, we didn't know about it, and after the fact you can do nothing. VERY deceptive practices.

I booked a car through EconomyBookings.com website, they charged around 8 Euros as a down payment or insurance (I'm not sure). And when i went to car rental company (KEM - Cyprus) they coudn't find the booking on their system. I show them the booking and confermation email but they didn't cooperate and told me to contact the website, its not their problem and they can't do anything! I tried to call EconomyBookings many times, everytime they kept me on hold for long time and then hang up.
Its a scam - don't deal with this website

We booked a car through economy bookings and on arrival at Barcelona airport we discovered the car hire company were not based at the airport. We Waited thirty mins to get a lift to an industrial park and then there was a que if 25 people in a non air conditioned office. We did not want a cheap car hire place just a vehicle if a specific size so somewhere on the booking experience they should have highlighted the car hire was no where near the airport!

Issue: When we arrived in Sardina the booking did not exist with the local partner. We called customer service who spoke directly with the local agent, they were unable to locate any booking. We were forced to pay an 800 warranty and 540 car hire fee for a Nissan Note the only available car. We called customer service again who said they just manage bookings, not complaints. They refused to send us

Believe the reviews which I wish I had read before I booked with them. The few dollars you may think your saving is so not worth the HORRIBLE customer service if that's what you want to call it. You have to email them and you WILL NOT get a reply. Here is a physical number *******841. You will not get anywhere in fact they will hang up on you! If you ask to speak to a manger they say no. DO NOT DO NOT DO BUSINEES WITH THIS COMPANY THEIR HORRIBLE
