I was reviewing your website and selected "notify me when back in stock". I received an email that the product is in stock and rushed to order. After I placed the order then I got a notice that the product was out of stock and they would hold my order until it arrived (estimated 12+weeks). This is unacceptable practice. Totally misleading and makes me loose confidence in your website.

Salesman and curstomer service woman both made my day. Needed to get a replacement rack & pinion for my '57. Learned my original from 2013 might be covered. New one comes with a lifetime. Original made by ATSCO Manufacturing - no longer in business. Not Ecklers fault. I've been buying from Eckler's for decades. I rode home in my '57 brand new day one. Never been disappointed in Ecklers.

I apologize that the center caps you purchased are out of stock. It looks like we have one on the shelf, but since you purchased a set of four, we have to wait for all four to become available. Your order is still in the system and will remain there; you will not be charged until the item becomes available and is back in stock. The only action taken was an authorization on the funds, which normally falls off within a few days. In the meantime, you can absolutely contact us to see if we have an alternate product or if you find something else to replace this with.
