I sold a item on eBay they took my money from customer and refunded him even after item showed delivered by tracking will not pay me for it keep telling me lies for months I'm sueing anyone else who has delt with this please reach out so we all can sue them they are allowing us to be stole from and not backing there safe seller and buyer guarantees

For some crazy reason I went and signed up to eBay plus, extra money for Nothing, it's a total scam!

I purchased 3 items from eBay, some 6 weeks later I only have one of the items, the other 2 are still showing the original location and a date of early December. I contacted this totally useless eBay to find out what is going on, Zero help, just some rude lady telling me my parcel is showing delivered by the 19th January, almost 2 months later, She said this is normal and acceptable, for who, obviously eBay not the stupid buyers….

There is obviously an issue but eBay does their usual BS ploy of Noting, they know you just give up trying with them, it's a win win for them.

EBay is an old outdated business that now survives from all the business that rob and steal who are not allowed to sell on Amazon.They exploit our laws with their Big Business powers….

You are crazy if you risk buying from this platform, it's too risky and you have no way of getting any after sales service if something goes wrong, avoid them and stick with the store or Amazon…

I ordered 2 kayaks on EBAY. They were late on arrival I requested a delivery update. Seller provided 2 USPS Tracking numbers. Items never arrived. Postal service indicated items were only 5 ounces and addressed to addresses other than my own, but within my zip code. So tracking number indicates delivered. EBAY does not believe me that I did not receive the kayaks which are 50 pounds each. Extremely dissappointed with EBAY customer service. EBAY just wants to close my case and appeals as soon as possible. EBAY will not even remove the fraudulent seller. I have been advised to contact US Postal Inspector and file police report. I doubt that I will have any luck with getting my money back.

I sold on ebay for a decade and now I'm done with their scammy bs.
I sold over $3k in items last month, then out of nowhere I got scammed for $1,500 from a chargeback scammer.
Then they turn around and restrict my account because of it.
The guy was clearly a scammer because he never asked for a return once.
So now I've already lost $1,500 on investments.

Ebay wanted my banks statments & receipts for the items I'm selling.
I provided everything the same thing.
Fast forward a month & now my account is permantly rescricted because they "cant verify your bank statements".
HUH?

So they are holding my other $1,500 for 2 months because of this problem with my account.

This website is just complete trash & thank god it happened now before I sold even more on ebay and end up losing tons more.

Ebay is down the drain & I can't wait for the day that I read about the shutdown of the website.

Nothing but scammers & theifs.

I can't say something bad about the ebay because back in the day it was a pioneer marketplace for e-commerce business.
Many people in the beginning of 00's started their business from the ebay reselling different stuff, exchanging products or just bargaining with people. I'm thankful to them that I was one of those who started business on this platform, cuz it has taught me many valuable lessons.
By the way, if you want to obtain some stuff you can also visit it as a customer, prices are affordable.

Listed an item for sale, and in bold writing stated that anyone bidding must have a positive feedback score. A scammer with zero feedback bid on my item and I cancelled his bid. Ebay charged me $153.21 saying I shouldn't have cancelled his bid. UNBELIEVABLE. Anyone doing business with Ebay at this point is an absolute fool. 11k one star reviews don't lie.

After making my first successful sale on eBay my account was permanently suspended with no reason given. When I spoke to a customer service representative I was told that they couldn't give me a reason because then people would know how they choose to suspend accounts. So essentially they banned me so they could keep the money for an item that was already in the customer's hands with no complaints or complications on their end.

Ebay ALWAYS refunds buyers even if obvious scam! I sent a pristine, brand new designer handbag on 1.12.23 via Royal Mail Special Delivery costing £8.15. I listed NO RETURNS NO REFUNDS but scam buyer said "handle too short" and I received bag back 20.12.23. It had obviously been used all that time and is now spoilt. I lost other interested genuine buyers. Ebay has now refunded scam buyer in full but no postage refund for me, the seller. Really fed up with Ebay!

Horrible company. NEVER buy anything from eBay! This company has no ethics or morals. The owners are scammers that take money from people without delivery of goods and services that are already paid for.

I was looking for a replacement charging case for my JBL Tune125TWS as mine was spoilt. The thought came to me to buy second-hand and eBay came to my mine.

Boy, that was the biggest mistake of my life!

After logging via Apple ID, I immediately searched for the item I wanted and clicked the Buy Now button, added my shipping information and selected the Apple Pay option.

Immediately after making payment, I received an Order Confirmation from eBay. Then I reached out to the seller for the tracking number and IMMEDIATELY I received an email saying I have been permanently suspended. W T F?

I reached out to eBay for help and you know what they told me? Basically since I have permanently suspended, the decision is final because apparently my account poses a serious security risk to their community.

And if I want my money back, I am no longer covered by the money back guarantee, therefore I am not going to see the money ever again. They suggested I can approach my bank instead.

What kind of unethical and immoral company does this?

Contacted eBay about my issue 3 weeks 1 day later still no response very poor way to do business from a multi billion dollar company looks like I'll be contacting the better business bureau if they don't get this handled shortly

Ebay are scammers that help other scammers Period. If I could put 0 stars I would because they deserve none! I sold multiple items this year on Ebay and every item I did not put a tracking on it were refunded by Ebay to the buyers and who's paying for their BS? Sellers of course so now I have lost hundreds of dollars and the items I sold that got refunded by Ebay. Their motive? They tod me to put a tracking on everything to prevent that from happening but the problem is that I won't pay $25 shipping an item with tracking when the value is $10-$20. I mean give me a break ffs...

I really don't know why people sell on ebay. Ebay does NOTHING to protect sellers. I have had 5 orders go missing from usps and I had to refund these orders out of pocket for something that is out of my control. Ebay takes a cut of the profits but provides nothing in return. Every other company protects its sellers in case usps loses a package, but not Ebay. Time to stop selling through eBay since they will throw you under the bus each and every time.

I faced many fake offers and good! Never was shipped, I wasted my time for few orders and now need to find and order again

If you buy an item from eBay, you have to remember that most reviews are filtered by eBay and negative reviews tend not to be shown. I ordered an item from eBay. It was missed delivered. I ended up losing the full amount of my purchase. I left a negative review eBay filtered the review, so it didn't show. So what good is a review to accompany when they only post the positive reviews and hide the negative from a consumer

EBay used to be good, now 0 stars, what advisors they have they disconnect the call as the don't have an answer, rude, no wonder the future is coming as robots maybe better

I was both a buyer and a seller and made an exchange tens of thousands of dollars for eBay and they steal from everybody customers and sellers alike just to let you know they can whether you have proof or not that's what they're going to do that's how they treat people. I made 400 sales probably around 2,000 purchases.

I have order 7 items from eBay and only received one item. I've spend hundreds and hundreds of dollars on these parts. And still have not received them. EBay has a money back guarantee. Which isn't true at all! More like spend money and steal your money grantee! They have refused to help and resolve this issue. And yes there is a picture of where it was delivered and clearly in the picture that is was NOT MY HOUSE! These people are a joke and I see why I was warned about eBay from the start. Amazon is 100% better. I've spend hundred and hundreds on eBay and only got less then 20$ worth. Tell me if that's right? I've already tried to reach out to eBay and sellers and started blocking my from making any more reviews and complaints. And if there is no actual number to call. Customer service is extremely horrible on eBay. There is a very least amount and close to non at all. Trust me when I tell you stay away from eBay altogether.

SUCKS...what kind of sight let's people arbitrary out other people's items on hold...basically I've been trying to sell one item for 5 months now. Buyers keep BUYING and not paying and then it takes weeks to put your item back up! Its so freaking annoying and a stupid policy. I can't think of anywhere else where you're allowed to CASH OUT without paying!

EBAY should change its name to LAYWAY
