This site has almost everything on there for great bargain prices. You can even sell nostalgic items that may cost a pretty penny if they are still in like new condition. Visit the site and play around the feautes to get a better understanding of how things work. Shipping can be expensive though, especially when an item cost $4.99 you will have to pay $25 for shipping. Shop wisely. Buy items that are worth the shipping cost.
I have bough jacket from private seller size SMALL REGULAR, but I been send Asian size small, the jacket arrive 2 weeks late, dirty, cover in hair, 2button missing, torne in the linning. I ask for my money back, the seller and ebay claim I have misunderstood the listing, so I end up with jacket that should belong in gabage bin. So what I have learn from this is that I will never again buy ebay. I have start buy things from ALI EXPRESS and I find that I can communicate with seller from day one, and cheaper. HAPPY SHOPPING
I have bought from ebay for 10 years and have had very little problems as a buyer. That being said i rarely purchase name brand or jewelry as there are so many fakes out there. Reviews can be really helpful and i always check a sellers review before purchase. I love ebay because you can find just about anything from the past. Toys you remember having as a kid you can almost bet to find someone selling it on ebay. The antique category is really fun also. I sell sometimes on ebay and i do not like how they almost force you to sell with the best offer choice. I will click to remove the option but ebay will change it back if my item is relisted and then buyers send me offers! Very annoying. Also had problems with buyers bidding and not paying, you cannot leave them negative feedback and ebay does not penalize them. It takes days to relist your item as you have to go through the proper channels and its a waste of time for the seller. I no longer have my items up for bid. So i enjoy shopping there much more
A scandalous experience with Ebay US, I opened a dispute for a vinyl record received scratched & paid with Paypal. Ebay Us asked me to return this disc, once the disc was received by the seller ebay Us refused my refund request on the grounds that the purchase was not covered by buying protection on ebay: so why ebay ask me ask me to return it? And what about the Paypal purchase protection? In addition I would have kept the Lp if I had known and avoided paying return costs of 30 euros! It is a scandal. I appealed to customer service, I got the same answer without any explanation on my remarks above, it's bad and dishonest! It's a scam! Beware.
Ebay is best for shopping. Once ordered the delivery is fast and service is kind and helpful. The quality of products is excellent and worth the money. Received the product as shown. Thank you for the service. Happy Customer.
Warning
Do not buy nothing over a $100
Or don't buy anything
If you are eager to buy
If you are looking to buy expensive items you are likely to loose your money there are so many scammers listining expensive item on ebay just to get your money and nether seller, or eBay or paypal are willing to get your money back you won't be able to contact them neither it is possible that ebay and PayPal employees are the same schemmers
Probably they are heading to bankruptcy for what I can tell and are ripping off people.
I lost a lot of money.
And this is the reason why I, posting and warning people.
Please don't fall as the next victim
I registered on ebay, added PayPal, made a purchase. After an hour my account is blocked. Reason? They can't name any. They claim to care about safety. I lost $400 and a lot of time. I didn't get the money back. Under the product, it says that buyer protection is enabled. It says on PayPal that there is buyer protection in the transaction. It says on Ebay that this product has no buyer protection and it is not possible to cancel the order. Common scammers. Someone should lock them up.
Ebay allowed stolen scammed gift cards to be used even after notifying them they were scammed! No protection!
I bought 40 razor blades. Seller only shipped 30. I disputed through eBay, but eBay sided with Seller. Seller was not required to send with tracking or signature delivery. Seller did give great lip service about shipping the balance of the razor blades, but that is all it was. Strongly disappointed. EBay is dead to me after this transaction. I used a debit card to make the purchase so the Seller got their money even after a dispute at that level too! I feel I have been taken advantage of. This business model is doomed.
Ebay doesn't care about their customers as long as they make money. They could easily put a stop to it but they choose not to do so.
Broken product received, seller promised replacement then a refund with same responses which went beyond 180 days. EBay did not want to intervene & I am left with no product. This is a loophole for sellers who can delay replacing or refunding with no EBay help! Disappointed & won't order from above again.
I've seen a lot of bad reviews on eBay, but with my personal experience, I think eBay is a good place with great offers on any product. I recently bought an iPhone Se Refurbished and it was the best quality phone I got with a secure package. Delivery was a little late, but it was worth waiting for such a genuine product.
I think I have been with EBAY for a little less than 20 years but tonight have decided with the actions to close my account permanently with them. Basically over principle and the constitution. Ebay does not respect the constitution of the USA and the rights of individuals and have tailored their actions based around feeling and not business anymore. If it does not align with their liberal beliefs and structures than they make the decision to rule on a case based on your liberal stance and not based off of facts of the case. Because of that fundamental principle, I can no longer do business in a environment controlled and managed my a millennium minded idiots.
I assume this is one of the worst platforms I've ever seen in my whole life. Recently I ordered a bagpack and I really want to tell you that the product shown on their website was different from what they sent me. Also, customer service is very bad they're never helping with your issuance, they say they're connecting later.
Starting out it takes at least two weeks to get paid but you have to pay for shipping immediately. You're out that money immediately and have to go thru PayPal to get paid. That option takes 1-3 business days or is immediate if you pay an additional 1% for instant transfer. The customer service is so so. All in all it's a lot of hassle for the money. Also if you want to close your account you have to wait between 30 and 60 days depending on the situation so you don't really have any control of an account that you own. Stay away
EBay SUCKS! These imbeciles make it next to impossible to get issues resolved since they are too dam cheap to hire real people TO ANSWER CALLS!
Purchased a $1,700+ product on eBay and the item arrived damaged. Seller agreed to accept the return (provided photos of the damage, which really was the seller's fault for horrible packaging). EBay says I should receive the return shipping label by today (8/28/2020) and I have not heard back from the seller (his response when accepting the return was he was going to contact FedEx to file a damage claim, and would presumably then provide me with a return shipping label, which is unacceptable. I have a $1,700.00+ charge to my account and a destroyed cooktop I have no use for and eBay does everything they can to discourage the buyer from getting the issue resolved.
I've been an eBay member in good standing since 1999, but no more. I only buy or sell occasionally, not regularly. A credit card fraud scammer bought an iPhone I was selling, opened their ebay account the same day, made immediate payment and asked to ship to an alternate address. I said absolutely not, that's fraud. Buyer opened a "no ship" claim against me immediately. Instead of addressing the fraud, eBay sided with the buyer. I never received payment, it was locked in Paypal, and I could not issue refund because of the lock. I will not assist in fraud and eBay doesn't care as long as they get their fees. I'm closing my account.
There nothing 4Price Advertised Cant contact seller/ebay, NOT good way 2run a business. Make Changes!
I have made roughly 300 sales on Ebay and I have a perfect 100 seller rating. Recently, I've had my first issue with a scam buyer who claimed a used, but near-mint, puzzle was damaged even though it was shipped in secure packaging. The listing also showed the completed puzzle with zero defects. The type of damage the buyer is claiming is unheard of during shipping. The buyer claims that the upper layer containing the picture has naturally peeled apart from the cardboard layer underneath, but has done so in a manner where it's a perfectly clean cut with no other signs of distress. Puzzle pieces can certainly become frayed, bent, dented, chipped, and torn apart, but certainly not cleaved in half into separate clean cut layers the way the buyer is claiming. Even the puzzle company's customer service said this does not naturally happen. It's a flat out obvious lie from the buyer. What's worse is Ebay spent literally only 5 minutes reviewing the case before deciding in the buyers favor. I received two emails only 5 minutes apart about the dispute being up for review and then the decision. Mind you, I have a 100% seller rating and this is how Ebay has done me and now there is zero customer support to assist in appealing any decisions. IT'S TIME TO START SELLING (AND BUYING) ON OTHER WEBSITES LIKE BONANZA, eBID, eCRATER, AND AMAZON MARKET PLACE.
Answer: I would never buy a used car without seeing it in person and having it checked out.
Answer: Ebay is a den of thieves. Even Ebay is evasive on complaints to answers. When looking for items, be sure to be fully informed to what you are shopping and use all that knowledge to cypher the listing, even then have found those that list items to be evasive on answers. Avoid ebay if possible!
Answer: For their own purposes and to protect dishonest sellers. I was once an avid EBay shopper, but now avoid EBay. Buyer protection no longer exists. You buy at your own risk.
Answer: Ebay sells nothing. You are dealing with private sellers. Some are good, some are not. The best way to determine this is to check the feedback. I personally never buy from anyone who has a feedback lower than 90%. 96% is considered bad, by Ebay. Take that with a grain of salt. Ebay management is nuts.
Answer: If you haven't already learned the hard way that Ebay is just pure bullshit when it comes to the sellers rights. When someone wants to send it back for any reason other than it doesn't work as described, you will be footing the bill. Not only will you lose the money you paid to ship it to them, Ebay will offer to provide a return label for them at your expense. Yep, that's right. They will bill you the price of the label if you don't provide it. Either way, you are paying for it to get back to you. It's get better. You can't leave negative feedback for the buyer either. It's not an option NO MATTER
Answer: Not to me! It's my main shopping tool! I look for good deals and free shipping!
Answer: Yes. You are right. All what people told you are correct. Don't trust ebay and the seller on ebay. Amazon much better than them. But anyway the best way to buy electronics from the local stores or official stores.
Answer: This depends on the seller of the item - carefully check their feedback and trust you intuition if you have doubts try another seller you feel safer with...
Answer: Hi Tom, As for reviews, you don't get them. It's called feedback. When you buy an item, the seller will probably leave feedback after you leave feedback for them. I hope that answers your question. Nancy
Answer: Depends on the seller. I wouldn't buy anything off ebay because there a crappy company.
