My husband and I had a bunch of problems in this last week.
First his account got suspended because he bid on too much and then the first representative we talked to didn't want to do his job and said "oh, your account can't be unsuspended" which I didn't even know there was a limit to bidding. Then my husband sold two item which in turn they were to be return. He has not received his items back nor has he received the money. EBay has returned the money to the buyers even though the buyers have not shipped the items.
So he is now out of his two items and eBay customer service has said that there is nothing they can do if the items do not arrive which to me is BS. They always say oh thank you for being such a loyal customer with us for blank amount of years and yet they can't help when we really need it? Great customer service *note of sarcasm*
We're honestly thinking about calling the Headquarters since I found phone numbers for the one in Canada and in the USA.

Fraud Seller on eBay "malenna_898" delivered a faulty mini projector and I shared all details to her on messages, As per her confirmation I returned item via Auspost and he/she confirmed to refund but she has not refund me for 2 months and not even replying any message, I attached few conversations. I reported eBay several times called them discuss to agents and they said they investigate etc till this time nothing happened. Extremely unprofessional and no actual support to buyers only verbally listening. This situation mentally tortured me, this seller lied to me and then ignore me by not replying. I paid postage for faulty product to deliver to them and this seller is such a big fraud! They think by not replying I will get tired and stop asking my money. Extremely disappointing.
Hi, I need eBay explanation regarding Duty and Taxes for order number: 06-*******-*******, seller: bdgzone, dated Aug 19,2023 at 6:34 PM. Tracking# UPAAG************** / *******805 DHL.
Why is the amount I paid to eBay was £279.46 (£186.55+£92.91), but from Indonesian's customs office has declared the amount I should have paid was only £183.18 (IDR*******÷*******)?
So, as Indonesia's customs office has declared and reported, I have made an overpayment to eBay of £96.28, which, although it's not yet included shipment brokerage fee (±£11.5), the overpayment that occurred was 52.56% too much from what I should have paid! The two differences above are very striking.
I attached eBay proof of payment, Indonesia's customs declaration, and ebay's seller invoice. I have also contacted seller this item (bdgzone), but he said he didn't know at all about this issue since eBay that made and calculated it.
I must report back these duty and taxes amounts to my Gov Tax Office when sending my tax calculation and payment periodically, normally in monthly and yearly basis.
Please response ASAP, due to Indonesia's customs office is waiting it.
Upto this this issue is written there is no answer from aBay at all.

I just bought 2 items on eBay. One came in today and was missing parts. I bought under guest and I've been trying to contact eBay and seller, it's virtually IMPOSSIBLE! EBay is a pain in the &&$ to to accomplish anything. Most user unfriendly online company I've ever come across. The Worst. I can't leave a review or get ahold of anyone.
I am having an incredibly BAD EXPERIENCE on EBay. Someone with the EBay handle Jumar_4224 posted incredibly BAD things about me that are not true and is severely effecting my ability to sell a very expensive and rare basketball card.

I have been an Ebay user for years, buying and selling. I had a high seller rating, and purchased form a lot of great seller. Ebay at some point had lost all my information and I had to start back from zero, Ok so I will just build it back. In 2015 redid my account, not so much to start selling, but to buy things. With that being said, since then I have had a spinal cord injury and became a quadriplegic and it has taken me awhile to get back to doing things. This past week I started selling again, because I'm on a very limited income. I made a couple of sales, but they would not release the funds because they didn't show any past history, because they had wiped out my prier account. Long story short, I need the funds to be able to pay shipping, and they won't release the fund to me so I can ship. Even though the lost all my older information about being an A+ seller. Ebay has had other issues, but im done, plenty of other platforms to use online to sell, that a definitely more enjoyable and less headaches.

I sold something and eBay collected $90...$70 that I charged for the item plus $20 flat fee shipping. What I received in my bank account was $46. Yes I underestimated the shipping and paid an extra eight and change. But I can't believe after their ridiculous almost 15% fee, I only made $46. It's just not worth it anymore. We sold a machine through EBAY. The customer created a small discrepancy. Filed a complaint and was able to get his money back and is keeping my machine? Have made continuous call with EBAY to no resolution. They say the have "closed the case". If someone knows how to manipulate EBAYS policy they can steal from anyone selling on EBAY. BE CAREFUL!

Clicked "buy it now," (I wasn't bidding on it) paid for it, got a confirmation.
Then I get a message from ebay telling me my order was canceled.
Shortly after got a nasty message from ebay telling me that I was banned from ebay.
A couple of weeks later I received the item, which was fine, as was the seller's packaging.
So in spite of both buyer and seller being satisfied (I paid for the item and it was fine) ebay bans me so I can't buy anything else.

Used eBay for over 2 years. Listed two items and even before the auction was over they charged my account almost 300.00, this site has become a joke. Glad I was able to shut down my account before anymore of these "new fees" hit my bank. If your selling on eBay be very careful, they not only charge their selling fees but now have more fees lol.A Legit scam lol. Good for you guys. Gotta make that money somehow I guess.

One star isn't even deserved for this joke of a company. I have been waiting nearly a MONTH to receive my funds from a sale, and a week before they are due to be released, eBay suspends my account and will NOT tell me why. The agent just parrots some BS scripts of "we're working on it" and will not tell me anything at all. Their practices are criminal and swear they are trying to swindle me out of my earned funds from my sale. DO NOT use this company. They will waste your time and steal your funds.
I started selling on eBay in Dec 2022 and right off the bat I was busy. Did over $10,000 a month in sales in the first 3 months of 2023. Being disabled and on government assistance this was a blessing and probably my only chance to have a real life and contribute to society. I was so happy, little did I know ebay would erase my amazing accomplishment completely.
It was a normal day in May ******* when I got a message from a client that aid I was fraudulently ripping him off and trying to keep his money for nothing. I inquired as to what he was saying and he said I loaded bogus tracking numbers. That made no sense cause I ship everything thru eBay and they load and send tracking to the customer automatically. But when I looked into it turns out he was right eBay loaded wrong tracking numbers. This led to my items(first order was $513.00) being lost forever, Canada post can't track the parcel cause the tracking is wrong. I had to refund the customer and never received my items back. EBay wouldn't even refund me on the crap shipping service for that parcel. I've never received a red cent in compensation intact that customer left 7 bad reviews saying I was a scamer and ebay wouldn't remove them. So many more problems with ebay but this is the one that destroyed me. Now my cupboards are empty my medication is depleted and because I did the right thing I'm no longer on assistance. No money, no food, no life, soon no home, thx ebay.
I sold an item for £60 through the global shipping programme. I posted it using tracked mail to the GSP address. At this point, I had done my part. From the GSP centre, it's eBays job to get the parcel to the buyer. But the buyer had given eBay the wrong address, so they didn't receive their parcel and put in a claim for it. EBay then refunded the buyer at my expense - so I now have no parcel and am £60 out of pocket. They've told me twice now that the parcel has been returned to me, but the tracking shows exactly where it is - it's in Oslo. I'm in the UK.
Buyers can file fraudulent claims and receive refund and keep item. Then eBay charges you $20 dispute fee. Customer service is nonexistent. Sellers cannot leave negative feedback for buyers even when they don't pay. Facebook Marketplace from now on.
Here is the senario. I make a purchase. I receive the purchase. It isn't how the seller described it and the seller lists that they pay for return shipping. EBay states their return policy is when the seller accepts refunds and pays for the return shipping the buyer should receive the full amount refund which is the price you paid for the item plus any shipping you might have paid. But 4 times now I have only been refunded what I paid for the item and not my shipping cost?! Twice I contacted eBay and nothing was done about it. I have been with eBay since 2009 but that doesn't mean anything anymore. I'm so fed up I think it's time to shop elsewhere. EBay CS stinks! Plus most of the items are junk or coming from China.

Answer: Ebay is a den of thieves. Even Ebay is evasive on complaints to answers. When looking for items, be sure to be fully informed to what you are shopping and use all that knowledge to cypher the listing, even then have found those that list items to be evasive on answers. Avoid ebay if possible!

I personally never buy from anyone who has a feedback lower than 90%. 96% is considered bad, by Ebay. Take that with a grain of salt. Ebay management is nuts.

When someone wants to send it back for any reason other than it doesn't work as described, you will be footing the bill.
