I order some shoes just got them today and they had been worn I know something was up when I open the box am so $#*!ing pissed the box looked old and when I open it the shoes were old the soles had stuff at the bottom of it and the thread coming apart I can't believe this $#*! and I been on hold for a hour and am still on hold right now as am typing this am so heated

I had to worst experience. For EastBay to have been around for years, customer service department was horrible. Non responsive. Delayed resolution. I understand the impact of COVID, but their customer service was disappointing and frustrating. I had to go through my bank to get my funds by filing a dispute claim.

Lesson Learned

Where is my order? This simple company now working for Footlocker Inc. is telling me my order was delivered today. Okay, where is it? I called twice asking for a refund for shoes I never received and never received a tracking#. Now these thieves are telling me because the (1) pair of shoes that have been marked delivered as of today is the reason I have to wait an additional (21) days to investigate. Well, I'll tell you what, you lost a customer that foolishly bought thousands of dollars worth of shoes/year. Go look up customer #*******. Between Footlocker Inc, their affiliates including Eastbay, I have bought way too much stuff. No mas, I will not be treated this way from a company that does not appreciate my business. I ordered the shoes back on June 4th, checked on the order twice and was convinced by Eastbay staff the shoes were not in the warehouse. The second time I ordered from Kid's Footlocker and the shoes never were sent out but I was charged. Eventually I got my money back based on me sending several emails because they aren't taking calls. After all that drama, another Eastbay associate encouraged me to go to a store and order directly from the store because it is a different inventory.so I recently did just that. So basically, I ordered the same shoe three times and waiting to see what happens. This is ridiculous, these stupid companies want to use COVID as a crutch and make the consumer pay for it. Stop doing business if you are going to do bad business.

I paid for my shoes on the 22nd of May 2020. The shoes arrived on the 26th of May 2020. I refunded the shoes on the 27th of May 2020 because they were to small. I call on the 15th and 16th of June 2020 for more than 3 hours and never got in contact. When I called on the 17th I was told by the representative for Eastbay that my shoe could possibly be lost in the warehouse. I ask them to file a claim, they said I had to file it myself with the post office. I then received an e mail stating that my shoes were received, and the new sized was shipped out. The tracking number changed from the 18th, to the 20th, to the 24th, to the 23rd. Which meant it has been over a month. I called back on the 20th, and asked for a refund told the representative that I did not want the shoes due to there lack of communication and poor customer service. He then lied and stated I ordered multiple items, when there were only one pair of shoes on the order. He told me I could not return the shoes until they get them back, which is a lie they could easily called the post office and reverse the shipment while in transit. I actually work for ups, and we handle postal shipments too. I told him he was a liar, and that I could show him that there was only one item on the order. He hung up the phone, I've filed a complaint against EBay with the FTC, BBB, and the department of consumer affairs. I will be contacting the attorney general and filing a fraud alert with my bank because I still have not received my refund nor have I received the shoes. This is unethical and I am going to be issued a full refund.

THE WORST COMPANY

I have sat on hold for three days in a row. When I go to check my status update it has NO UPDATE. I placed my order over a week ago and have emailed them numerous times and still haven't heard from them. THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS. TALK ABOUT A COMPANY THAT DESERVES TO GO OUT OF BUSINESS. THIS COMPANY IS A FRUAD AND SUCKS DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. DOES NOT GET ANY WORSE THAN THIS. STAY FAR FAR AWAY THEY SUCK BEYOND WORDS. I BOUGHT MY FATHER A NICE FATHERS DAY GIFT AND THIS GODDAMN COMPANY STOLE MY MONEY AND WONT EVEN RETURN MY CALLS OR EMAILS. DISGUSTING.

Eastbay sucks

Ordered a pair of shoes for a fathers day gift. Ordered on may 25th then was told they had arrived 2 days later. Never received them. Have been teying to contact costumer service for the last couple weeks to get this resolved and always sit on the line for HOURS. Tried emailing them and always uuat get automated responses. Basically took my money said they sent my product (but didnt) and now arent responding at all. Great producta if you acctually get them. Kinda sucks to basically get robbed though. Money that i will never see again.

Eastbay sent me a pair of used Air Max 97 shoes. There was dirt inside of the shoes plus the shoes had dirty soles. How unprofessional oh, let me warn you all about Eastbay's customer service. They are the absolute worst ever, I was on hold for a whole entire hour before. In the future, I will be shopping elsewhere.

25 percent taxes? Wtf

Charged me 25 percent tax on my order. 100usd on a 400usd order seems a bit expensive. Where there located it should be 5 percent and where I'm located. When I asked why they charged me the only answer I got was there's nothing they can do about taxes. Don't know if they just jacked it up because of covid19 because I've ordered lost from them and never had to pay this much. Usually 10 percent ( which is still to much for where I'm located) Fu east bay I wish another place sold my shoes

"I ordered 4 items from the Mamba Academy who uses East Bay for some forsaken reason. Took 4 Weeks to get my order.

I hate to say don't buy from the Mamba Academy but they apparently use East Bay as their sales agent. Huge Kobe fan but I cannot support them with the way East Bay works.

Their sizes runny very small so I wanted to Return a shirt and exchange another shirt.

I call 1 day and 30 min on hold and no answer. 2nd day on hold for over 1 hour and no answer. 3rd day on hold for 30 min and decide to leave a voice mail. They are supposed to return my call by next day 10am PST.

I get an email at about 12:30pm saying they called and left a voice mail. That's a lie because I never got a voicemail nor a missed call.

Their email isn't very professional either.

I email them the issue of wanting to return and exchange.
Response is their website says No Return No Exchanges. They are telling me "No 'Decorated' Items". Who the heck knows what a 'Decorated' item is? I didn't order anything personalized.
I just ordered from the Mamba Academy site. No where on the redirected East Bay Store site does it say No Returns No Exchanges.
Of course they tell me I'm more than welcome to purchase more product. What a joke of a company.

Unacceptable business practices. Items show in stock on their site and backorder email immediately after ordering. 30 days with no shipment, no contact, they cannot provide an ETA or confirm ship method. Customer service reps are poorly trained if they even speak English, they suggested I call back daily for status on commodity items. Horrible company

I ordered green Timberland boots and instead tennis shoes (red, white, and black Nike Jordans) were shipped. I called to get them replaced and, again, the same incorrect item was shipped. On another call to customer service I was told I could order another item which didn't have to be the matching price because of my troubles. We hung up so I could pick a boot. After speaking with that associate (John) I received a different associate when I called back. She explained to me something different than the previous associate. I explained to her what he told me and she told me to give her the product number. I did so and was also told I would receive a $15 gift card. I was emailed a $10 gift card instead. It's been several days and I have yet to receive a shipping confirmation or anything relating to the new item. In calling back today I've been notified that no new order was placed, and I've been hung up on by a supervisor (Hector) 2 times and an associate once. Granted, I never disrespected anyone but this is the treatment I've received. If I was scheduled to receive a refund instead of the higher priced shoes then that should've been made clear to me before I was off the phone. This did not happen and the associate led me to believe I was receiving the new item I picked. I spoke with a supervisor (Kevin) who said he's going back through my phone conversations to find out what was said. I'm sure that never happened with this shady, unprofessional company & I don't understand. Eastbay has made the same mistake 2xs and associates have lied to me and led me astray. I'm not in the wrong but I just want it to be made right. I waited for Kevin to contact me with his findings from the tapings but that never happened. Instead, I received an email stating they would email me a $5 gift card & I won't get my refund til they get these 2 messed up orders back. WHAT!? This company is the most trifling and disrespectful company I've encountered and I would never do business with them. If I'm treated like this I'll take my business elsewhere.

Horrendous company! I had an issue with them charging me twice for the same order of $374. I kindly messaged them several times and not once heard back, not only that but their phone lines never work! This company is rated so poorly and it this just goes to show why. Now i have to call my credit card company to dispute their mistake. It did not even show a order # or anything on the second charge. They messaged me back one on facebook by asking for all of my details and i kindly sent back all the correct info they needed and never heard back. Ive messaged them 3 times via email as well. This shows their lack of customer service. Horrible company! I only shopped here because they had more nike gear at discounted rates. Will never be back, stay away! Selective Scammers!

I wish I had read the reviews before ordering from this company. I accidentally ordered the wrong color shoe and realized it once I got the order verification. I called within 2 hours of placing the order to try and change the color or cancel and reorder. After being on hold for 48 minutes the customer service rep told me that it was too late to cancel the order... Two hours after placing it. The only option that he gave me was to return the shoes after I receive them and the cost would be $7. Nope. I will use Zappos or other companies in the future that offer better customer service.

What a headache.
WORST ONLINE SHOPPING EXPERIENCE IN MY LIFE.
Do not order from Eastbuy if you are from Australia. Long story short. I ended up paying $135 USD for runners which was never delivered and I never had my money back. AVOID Eastbay if you want to sleep well. Customer service treat you like you are 1 yo. Avoid Eastbuy, trust me

I have 3 teens who are really into Vans Shoes. The most popular styles and sizes of these tend to go out of stock quickly. I stumbled on Eastbay last Christmas after searching literally dozens of sites for a particular shoe. Much to my surprise they had it in a wide range of sizes. The same was true when I went looking for birthday gifts later on. Prices are the same as other sites or sometimes better. Had to do a return with some complications and couldn't be happier with the prompt customer service. I had read reviews about bad service and was leery but mine went smoothly. Shipping and returns are usually free.

Doubled the order!

I wish I had read these reviews first. My initial order didn't go through so I emailed and asked if there is an order. They advised it takes 48 hours to go through so a week later I got confirmation of no order. So I placed another one. When the order arrived I got an email 2 days later saying the order is confirmed (2 weeks after!) and about to be posted. I quickly emailed (twice) asking them to stop this order but then the replies went quiet.
The final response was I can return the shoes. Not even an apology.
