I was linked to DWT via cheapflights.co.uk. Booked and paid for my flight. Received confirmation from DWT and then NOTHING. No e-ticket, no response to emails, no answers on the telephone, in fact when I finally got through the woman hang up after I explained my call. Then I found out from the airline that I wasn´t even booked onto the flight. Shouldn´t even get 1 * but this system won´t allow it!
On 28/4 I booked and paid for my one way Turkish Airlines business class ticket from Edinburgh to Kuala Lumpur on 27 June, using my Visa credit card. I was informed by DreamWorldTravel that my ticket was 'in issuance queue' and it would be sent to me in 'couple of weeks'. As with other complaints, the company was uncontactable after that. I complained to my Visa card issuer and asked for my money back, as it is normal procedure that air tickets are issued immediately on confirmation and payment. I proceeded to buy a replacement ticket. Soon after 27 June, my credit card issuer refunded me my money in full.
I have booked a return flight via Dream World travel, they took the money issued fake PNR and ticket was not confirmed no ticket issued, it shocking to see hundreds of adverse review on Trustpilot. How they still operate beyond belief! I am going to take legal action to recover the money, there so many people were scammed by this travel agent.

Worst travel agents. Bought tickets more than 2 weeks back, still tickets not issued. Worst phone lines. Dont waste your money and energy with them.
Do not use this company. They appear to take your money for unsecured flights and then cancel 2/3 days beforehand. I lost £1300. 00
Booked a two way flight with these scammers in 2020, when I tried to book the return flight which was cancelled due to covid they said that the airline had to cancel it and I couldn't change the date but that I would receive a refund for the half used ticket. I then had to purchase another ticket back to the UK.
When I tried to contact them about the refund they said it would take 6 months. When the 6 months were done they said that the airline refunded £20 which was less than the admin fee(£35) so I wouldn't receive anything. The airlines website clearly stated at the time that due to Covid-19 all flights could be re arranged or refunded. After reading all these reviews, how they are still allowed to operate is unbelievable.
Avoid this Travel Agents. Booked 4 tickets to Australia over 2 months ago and still awaiting e-tickets. They are very unhelpful and keep changing the dates of when I will receive my e-tickets. Please read the reviews on Trust Pilot and other review sites. Many customers complaining of the same thing. Some not getting their e-tickets at all and trying to get a refund seems to be impossible.
I bought my tickets on February for July- but never received my e-tickets and when I called the airlines I booked they said they don't have any tickets on my name! Their phone, whatsapp number and emails are not working either!
They are SCAM! I called my bank for reporting fraud...
I have been traveling to Argentina the last 20 years and it is the first time that I have a problem with a travel agency, DWT took my money and so far I do not have my return tickets, connection flights are missing and the do not offer alternatives or refund. They don't answer the phones and the replies from their emails are absurd or incomplete. I will have to cancel the trip but I do not trust they will return my money
Paid in full for flights £8000 almost 1 year ago, they did not book the flights and now none are available. We are trying to get a refund as they have still got our money they are being difficult about refunding us. Had to contact my bank if that doesn't work we will have to go to small claims court like so many other have.
Will keep this factual. We bought our tickets in January this year for flights in August.
We tried to cancel the flights shortly after due to the poor reviews but were told the tickets had already been purchased. We requested on many occasions over the last five months. We have received a range of different reasons as to why we had not received the tickets, the most common being that it is in an issuance queue and cannot be retrieved. We have not even been asked for passport numbers. We asked for the airline reference number on many occasions but were not provided with this, hence it is not possible to get much detail from the airline as to the status of the flights. We have asked for proof from dream world that the flight has actually been purchased but have not had any evidence. After posting a review of our experience recently we were contacted soon after (this is the first time we had received a call in all our enquiries in the past 5 months). An answer phone message provided us a reference number. Unfortunately when inputting this into the airlines flight status checker it says that the flight cannot be found and may have been cancelled.

Brought and paid for a ticket to NZ. With singapore Airlines with DWT. They reserved a seat, just never paid for it so SA canceled the booking. Couldn't get hold of DWT emails and phone calls. Had to do a charge back via bank. Never use them you will not get your ticket and fight to get your money back.
My flight is due on 30th of June and today is 14th of June, i have been calling the travel world office in London since April, and i called them yesterday and i was told that they will issue my e-tickets this week so far i haven't received them, i called them again today 14th of June just to make sure that they will issue my E-ticket this week but unfortunately now they have decided to put my phone calls directly to answer machine to leave a message... they have frustrated me so much to a point where i wish that they can go to Hell and burn forever when they Die, piss of $#*! company and frauds!
I purchased a flight with Emirates to Australia. Covid cancellation and Emirates paid them after 6 weeks. They strung me along for 2 years and still did not pay. Worst ever. Totally unprofessional. An illegal operation
Bought a £400 flight with them in Jan 2020 to fly in March 2020. Cancelled it die to COVID. They got the money back from the airline over 18 months ago. They keep promising to pay back but they have no intention of doing so. They are crooks.
The company is a whole con. Charged for flights 6 months ago told us tickets would release two weeks prior to departure and at last week said tickets are unavailable
Having read the reviews by now you will already know that this is not a business you should be giving your money to. Dreamworld took money for tickets that were reserved in the airline system but never paid for and ticketed and so expired 72 hours later. Since then they have deferred, obfuscated and lied about what is happening and not booked the original or alternate flights and instead offered a refund at an indeterminate future time. Simply avoid and save yourself the heartache. Thank god I paid with my credit card and they are treating the charge as fraudulent on my behalf.
One of my flights have been cancelled. Asking for a refund based on that. Spoke to DreamWorldTravel and Qatar Airways. The flights have not been booked just reserved and not paid for by DWT or one of their other agencies. This is what Qatar is saying. DWT are saying flight booked and there is no cancellation. My friend booked direct with QA and has been informed the flight is cancelled and has also been issued refund. I had emailed DWT without success. The only option is to take it further. Trading standards will also be informed as well as all other relevant agencies. Another thing to note is they do not appear to have ATOL cover, at least the trading name is not listed on the website. False representation is illegal.
I've been waiting for my refund for over 1 years now, my flight was canceled because of the pandemic, I contacted the LATAM company who informed me that no ticket was issued in my name by the agency and since then I've been trying to get my money back. Come back and they just lie and don't give any date to return my money. It's a real gang of thieves, I don't understand how local authorities allow a company like this to still be operating with the sole purpose of defrauding people.

Answer: Prepare to do a charge back with your credit card company as soon as possible and buy the tickets directly from the airline. In most cases you will be at airport with no tickets and Dream World Travel will keep claiming that you got the tickets until you have lost the will to pursue your money back. This is their modus operandi.

If DWT has not given you a refund (like to hundrerds of others), you might do these: Immediately inform your bank if you used their services and they should help you issue a chargeback. If they cannot help because of the 6-8 weeks 'waiting time' then immediately email DWT to refund within 15 days. If you still dont get it within this, and you used bank transfer/services, credit/debit card, call bank and ask for a chargeback. For credit card one could issue a section 75. If you used other payment methods, ask the company to issue chargeback. One option is to use small claims court or lawyer. Do not waste time, take action right now. Only the bank or court can get any refund due. Once you have done the work for refund, inform action fraud to help save others too. Copy and share this genuine review that i made from my experience to help others too. I only rated this 4 star so it shows at the top for others to read, and for those people who do not click 1or2 star ratings to see the truth. Only people who personally know the DWT staff have had good experiences. Otherwise the rest had a nightmare with DWT.
Answer: They are massive con artists, so you are unlikely to ever get them, or, they will wait until close to the departure of your flights and either ask you for more money, or change the dates and/or times of your flights, because they haven't booked them in advance. Contact Ealing Trading Standards.
Answer: Inform your credit card company that you have not authorised this and according to internet resources this is a scam. If the credit card company has authorised it already, you can do a charge back. Keep declining as in the end you will win.
