Worst delivery service by miles. Never have issues with others, understand it may be difficult to press a number for a flat but don't really think you should be driving if you can't read. Absolute trash every time we have a package I reach out to the store to see if they can change it if it's DPD. I see some people have no issues so maybe just my area. Instructions left on door and messages to call if any issues yet still struggle. I think the old apple core I throw away has more brain cells than the driver we get. Again this missed delivery will cost me a fortune. 104 successful deliveries in last 12 months 11 failed, 10 of them DPD. Useless. AVOID!
This review is specifically for the Dundee Depot and covers 3 parcels. The first parcel has been at the depot since the 19th September without any movement or any updates. I suspect it is lost. It is a low value item so I can raise it with Amazon. The second item was at the Depot on the 17th September. It never left the depot but there were repeated phone call assurances that it would be delivered but of course it never was.
They repeatedly lied on ever call and even suggested that my wife went to the depot to collect it herself. This was after they advised that the parcels were heavy and needed a 2 man team to deliver. Of course there was then another phone call stating there would be a 2 man team at ours by 9am the next day. Well there was no delivery obviously. I personally think that last call was just a piss take.
We then were advised on the 26th September that the parcel was being returned to the sender. Having then checked with the sender they advised from their tracking that it was being returned to them and could not be stopped and it had never left the depot either. The third parcel arrived at the depot on the 26th September without movement and then today was supposedly to be delivered. There were no tracker updates for driver location and when I checked for updates it was marked as delivered but guess what not to us. Seems to be a different parcel that somehow the tracking has got messed up.
So who knows where ours is. The app does not associate this last tracking number to me either. Parcels 2 and 3 were high value items. I think Iliyan is one of the managers at the depot who seems to just make things up. Disgraceful experience not just once but 3 times. I have all the details for each order if anyone is actually interested but I doubt you care. 1 star is still one to many for this shambles
I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with the terrible service provided by DPD couriers in Tresses Mélac. I ordered a package from "Couteaux du Chef" which was supposed to be delivered on August 18,2025. It is now August 26,2025, and after multiple reminders to DPD and the seller, not only has the package still not arrived, but DPD has just informed me that it has been returned to "Couteaux du Chef" without any valid explanation!
The tracking notifications were a complete mess: constantly contradictory announcements of imminent delivery. I contacted DPD customer service several times by phone—and no, these were not automated responses, but actual human commitments that were never honored. For example, I was promised home delivery rather than delivery to a pick-up point, but nothing was done! The same goes for "Couteaux du Chef," which was unable to obtain any concrete resolution. At this point, I am still completely in the dark as to when the item I ordered and already paid for will finally be delivered to me.
This is simply unacceptable and demonstrates a blatant lack of professionalism, reliability, and respect for customers. DPD Tresses Mélac has lost all my trust, and I strongly advise anyone against using their services. Avoid them at all costs and choose a reliable carrier!
DPD falsely marked parcel as delivered and signed without my presence – unlawful and unresolved On 24th February 2025, DPD delivered a parcel (Tracking# **************) and falsely signed my name, claiming I had received it. I was out of the country at the time. No delivery notification was given, and the building requires intercom access, which I did not receive. The 10kg+ parcel was left without permission, and I had no idea it had arrived. After extensive follow-up with DPD, EPS (sender), housing authority, concierge, and police (MPS Crime Ref: 01/*******/25), no resolution has been achieved. DPD's action is unlawful and has caused significant inconvenience. I expect accountability, transparency, and compensation.
I find DPD an awful courier company! Parcels constantly take an age to arrive and the tracking system just doesn't update! I find parcels do eventually turn up but I really despair when I see a company using DPD to deliver my purchases! If you need something urgently then your are going to be very disappointed if it's being delivered by this truly unprofessional outfit! The 1000's of dirt poor reviews tell you everything you need to know!"
I ordered a wheelchair ramp (approx. 10.2 kg and 1.2 m long) for my nephew — an essential item — and DPD has failed to deliver it after four attempts. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd attempts: I was at work, which is why I redirected the parcel to my neighbour (who reliably accepts my deliveries). Yet on the 3rd attempt, DPD left a handwritten note claiming my neighbour had refused the parcel — something I seriously doubt. 4th attempt: I stayed home today, waiting outside for nearly two hours. No delivery van came, yet they again marked it as a "missed delivery." I contacted customer service, but they were unhelpful and refused to reroute the parcel to a Paketshop, claiming the item was too long and heavy — even though I've received larger parcels at a Paketshop before. This isn't just bad service — it's careless and disrespectful, especially considering the item's importance. I feel completely let down by DPD and would strongly advise others to avoid them if their delivery actually matters.
Lies and excuses is all you get. Try ringing their customer service department and you'll won't be told why your parcel hasn't arrived but be asked to change your delivery date! Check your parcel's progress and do not be shocked to see "As requested, your parcel will now be delivered on xxx"! Other messages are "Your parcel is being held in our DPD (location) depot", or "Your parcel has been delayed due to an unexpected issue in your area", or "Your parcel could not be delivered as the receiver could not provide a valid PIN code" (didn't even get a call)"!
The UK seems to thrive on failure and this shower must have a high ranking of zero.
Surely if you pay a premium for delivery, you should at least have the item delivered!
And it's no good trying to talk with the depot in question (it's not allowed). Even if you speak to a customer service person, there is no point in asking for an explanation - you won't get one, but asked "Do you want to request a change of delivery date"!
Just tell the truth; if you've got no driver then say so, if you aren't going to deliver on the day in question tell people. I have wasted 5 days of my life waiting for nothing and the fictious updates you give cause greater stress - if you can't do the job that you advertise then let these reviews shame your business.
Terrible company! Don't work with them! We moved from the Netherlands to Greece. We sent 12 boxes with very important things. Only 8 arrived. The company denies and takes no responsibility for the loss. There is no one to talk to.
Percel late three days, but delivery man can't wait for a minute. Can't call before few minutes.
DPD track doesn't work.
Delivery driver never rings my bell, instead leaves my parcel in a public unsafe, unmonitored place, on a completely different floor to where I live for it to be stolen, huge sign with red writing says don't leave parcels there, he just ignores it and never delivers to my actual address/door, despite having the address and me being home. Ignores my notes in the safe space option which clearly states to do deliver to my door, and if I am not home leave it outside my door. This has happened over 17 times where he doesn't bother coming to my door.He has delivered to my actual address TWICE. He rings the bells of other flats to be let in, so he can leave it in the public place. Does not do his job properly

I sent a package via the "amazing" DPD, and of course, I was "pleasantly" surprised when, upon receipt, I found that EVERYTHING was damaged! The envelope was torn, the foil was torn, the cardboard was torn, even the paper documents were destroyed — everything was in shreds! And this cost me 260 euros! Obviously, the courier "carefully" shoved it into the mailbox, violating all standards of handling someone else's property.
As soon as I saw this, I immediately filed a complaint, and as expected, after SIX MONTHS, I still haven't received a single cent in compensation. The support service is a whole other horror story. They either don't respond at all or delay things as much as possible. They write back late, refer me to new departments, which are, of course, "incompetent," or just respond with canned phrases: "The decision hasn't been made yet." Looking for specifics? Forget it! Every time they come up with a new excuse to make me wait again. And this has been going on for six months with each new complaint!
DPD, you have an absolutely incompetent and disrespectful support service, and your delivery service is just as careless with people's property! Damaging someone's belongings and pretending nothing happened — is that your new standard of professionalism? Months of waiting and all for nothing. Thank you for your "quality"!

I received an email with a pin for delivery driver.i wait all day in my house for this parcel and after my delivery time 10.50 to 11.50 is gone i check the email again and show me - Sorry, your parcel could not be delivered as the receiver could not provide a valid PIN code at 11:18 - which is a big lie,because i was home all day long.stay away from DPD.!

What a joke. If I could give it minus ******* I would of done. The driver went to a completely different address even when using my post code. Took picture of the address he went too LOL. I called customer services and he spoken to the driver which said he went to the wrong address and will deliver before 5pm which is when his shift is over, also the guy who I spoke to over thr phone said that he will keep track off it and keep me updated. Will nothing happend. Ots now 6:08pm and no parcel, no communication from customer service which is an absolute joke. Went to call them back and it said that my parcel will be delivered thr next day. Seriously now. I will name and shame this company all over social media which I am very good at, as this has to be the worse delivery company I've come across. A joke is a nice way of saying it.
DPD have yet again contracted to deliver a package to my address with absolutely no intention of doing so.
They are utterly incapable of honesty or transparency and continually persist in their shady dealing. They are no doubt being paid by their customer, whilst providing a litany of lies as to the reason they fail to deliver.

When contacting them as requested they cited a "security issue", which they could not discuss as I am not the customer. I count four different reasons, all of which were mentioned in the phone call I made to them, and not one of them is the truth.
Yet again, another of DPD's customers will be losing my custom due to their choice of courier, which I will be explaining in detail. Yet again DPD are not hurting me, they are affecting the business of people who are gullible enough to pay them for a service they're not prepared to provide.
As you have no intention of delivering, DON'T ACCEPT THE CONTRACT! Or continue your bad practice and I will continue contacting your customers and posting reviews to share the truth!
Yet again DPD have failed to deliver. This is no surprise, however, after delivering a parcel 2 days ago, which they passed to my neighbour, they are now saying that they are not delivering to this address due to a "previous incident", in spite of the fact that they had emailed me informing me that they were intending to deliver. Presumably, the "incident" was the bad reviews I have put online. I "can contact them to complain", but why would I bother, based on previous experience they could not care less about their shoddy excuse for a service.
I would far prefer to put bad reviews absolutely everywhere and contact all companies I use, who use DPD, to cancel my accounts, with a full explanation as to why. Congratulations to DPD on costing VioVet a customer
Well, well, well, where do I even begin with DPD? Let me tell you, folks, they've taken incompetence to a whole new level!
So, picture this: you've been eagerly awaiting a delivery from Samsung, counting down the minutes until your shiny new phone arrives. But when the DPD delivery person finally shows up, do they bother to ring your doorbell or give you a heads up? Nope, not a chance! Instead, they snap a quick photo of your house, toss their hands up in defeat, and call it a day. Seriously, DPD, is that the best you can do?
And don't even get me started on their customer service. When you try to reach out for help, it's like talking to a brick wall. They couldn't care less about your missing package or the fact that you've been waiting all day for it to arrive. It's as if they've never heard the words "customer satisfaction" in their lives.
Honestly, DPD, you should be ashamed of yourselves. If this is the best service you can provide, maybe it's time to hang up your delivery hats and find a new line of work. As for me, I'll be taking my business elsewhere from now on. Good luck finding someone else willing to put up with your nonsense!

I sent 6 boxes, only two arrived to destination! 4 are lost! My little business is having a troubles because of it!
Driver came to the front door, took picture of it and was gone. No door bell, no phone call. DPD delivery department and customer service could not care any less. Driver followed their procedures - came to the address and took a picture of it. Doesn't matter, that I was actually waiting for the door bell as soon as received the message "you're are next". Refused my complaint. Will be avoiding all sellers now who uses this company and definitely won't use myself.
Portugal: very bad experience, waiting for them all the day at home, nobody shows up, the support line cant reach the courier. Chaotic, would never use again!
