On SmartCustomer, businesses may not offer incentives or pay to remove reviews. Read more about our Review Guidelines and the process we have against fake reviews.
I requested to downgrade my google workspace, it took hours, days to complete. (still not resolved) Today I just spent 2 hrs 15 min in live chat. They are slow and they dont read what you complain about, they keep saying 'I'll have to put you on hold for a few minutes' and leave you with unclear situations for hours. Moreover they offer the domains quite expensive, just first year is reasonable after that they high rocket their prices. So if you dont want to be in stress in any case of technical issue or any other problems, dont buy any service from them
Built my website 1 year ago with Domain.com. My renewal came up 48hours ago and they charged my credit card 216% more than what I had originally paid 1 year prior. This substantial increase was unbeknownst to me at the initial sign up. I contact their customer service, (Agent Saneth) and they said that I had to pay the increased price or else my website would be permanently deleted. I spent many hours on my website, but felt Domain.com was taking advantage of this fact. I feel like the 'pay or delete site' put me in a forced position to pay their steep rate increase, or else I lose my work. There was no price transparency when I signed up. Out of principal, I cannot give a company like Domain.com my business.
I registered a domain with Domain.com last year and never used it. At the time of purchase, I made sure auto-renewal was not selected. However, they recently charged my credit card without my consent, even after I rejected the transaction through my bank. When I contacted their support team to request a refund, they refused, stating that "once renewed, a refund is not possible." I reminded them that I never opted in for auto-renewal, to which they responded with an absurd justification — that auto-renewal is enabled by default to protect customers from losing their domain. In other words, they've given themselves the right to charge customers regardless of their settings or consent. To make matters worse, they also added extra charges for domain privacy and protection services — again, without my approval. There is no option to delete your account, so now I'm concerned that they will repeat this unauthorized charge again next year. Please stay away from Domain.com. Their practices are deceptive and predatory. They make it difficult to cancel, avoid issuing refunds, and force services on you just to drain your wallet.
Stay away from these thieves... They have been trying to charge my card back and forth... Even after arguing with them for 5 times and a pledge that they will stop doing it. Long story short... This company is ran by incompetent fools and thieves. The damage they caused in my business ran to millions of $$. This crap server used to have a web hosting as part of the service I'm getting. After a while. They cancelled my website and demand money for the service that is already included in my renewal fees. No notice or anything they just did what they wanted and that's it. They often charge my card more than once and does not notify you of the payment they want to take. Back in the day before charging a credit card... a merchant has to notify the card owner. This company will rack your card whenever they like. If you are a company looking for internet exposure. Don't even touch domain.com with a long pole. Stay away and stay away far. This company will waste your precious time and its either they don't care or just dumb enough not to realize the damage they incur on the consumer. These crooks should be shut down or let them pay for the damages they incur on the consumer.
Terrible experience with Domain.com. My SSL certification issue has been unresolved for over 40 hours, despite being told it would be fixed in 24. This has caused my marketing campaigns to fail, resulting in a $4,000 loss and forcing me to halt my project until April 2025. Customer support has been unhelpful, and the lack of urgency is unacceptable. Their negligence has severely hurt my business. Would not recommend for startups or anyone relying on timely support.
Domain.com charged me for a domain that I didn't even order! Fortunately, I discovered the charge on my credit card. When I contacted them, they said they would issue a refund. However, in a follow-up email, I noticed that they would only refund a small amount. When I contacted them again, they attempted to scam me by telling me to contact another company. THIS IS ALL HAPPENING BECAUSE THEY CHARGED ME FOR A PRODUCT I DID NOT ORDER!
I tried to get rid of two domains no longer needed months ago. It didn't work. I got charged over $140 for those domains today AND the kicker is that they were not set to new till Dec 26. So, I was charged for 2 domains I don't need 15 days earlier than they should have been renewed with me thinking they were set NOT to renew. After speaking with a manager, I was untold they can't refund it once it is charged. This is so unfair. I called my bank and am stopping the charges.
My questions where answered and site settings adjusted.
Good good good good good good good good good good good good
No problem. All well. I am satisfied with the experience. Sure
The above said will stay with me for the rest of my life that due to non renewal my domain was sold
Love it I love it so much it's really great I love it a lot thank you
Appreciate my help felt supported and found the answer
Very reliable with strong support compared to other service providers.
I tried to cancel auto-renew and could not figure it out. By the time I got to contact support, they told me that I could never get a refund even if I contacted them the next day. The phone number NEVER works on the Credit Card where you get the charge. It's obvious that customer service is not the top priority of Domain.com.
I am extremely disappointed with the service from Domain.com. I've been trying to get a refund for $72 since July 24th, and the experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. Despite multiple attempts to contact them, they have failed to provide any clear updates or even respond to my emails over the past seven days after I provided my PayPal details.
Their customer service is shockingly slow and unresponsive. To make matters worse, the issue arose because they charged me for a Google Workspace subscription that I had already canceled. It's unacceptable that I've had to chase them for a refund that should never have been charged in the first place!
This kind of treatment shows a complete disregard for customers, and I would strongly advise others to think twice before using their services.
I really liked the education and the speed with which I was attended to.t
When you study it and make your choice rightly, domain is working for you
