I received an email notification from DHL saying my item would be delivered on a Sunday, signature required. I waited at home all day but no delivery. I received an email from DHL saying delivery was attempted but I was not home, which was untrue. I checked my doorbell camera and there was no delivery attempt made at the time DHL said it had been attempted, or anytime during the day, so it's not like I could have missed the doorbell ringing. Plus my dog barks whenever someone comes up the front steps. When I called DHL customer service to ask about this, I was told there was "a bug in the system" that sent out that email because...THEY DON"T EVEN DELIVER ON WEEKENDS!
Another email from DHL saying delivery would be attempted sometime the next day. I changed delivery to no signature required. In the morning, another email from DHL saying delivery would occur between 1230-230 pm. This never happened. Another email from DHL saying deliver would occur "by end of day." OMG I've been waiting home ALL DAY again for the second day in a row. I called DHL and asked when is "end of day"? And was told "9 PM for residential (5 pm for business)." It's now 830 pm and no delivery yet. I would put money on there being no delivery by 9 pm today. I am living in a delivery hell.

They always say I'm not home when I am

I ordered a package that had $500 worth of product inside so when constantly asked if I wanted no contact delivery I said no because at the end of the no contact delivery you have to check a box that at that point they are not liable for losing the package. So I waited at home and saw through my doorbell camera very clearly that no one came to my door. There was not even an attempt delivery note like they say they hand out. I live in an apartment on the 3rd floor, there are no gates or anything blocking them from delivering and my address was correct. I've had this happen before with this company but I genuinely suspect the driver was truly just too lazy to try and deliver the package. Probably saw the stairs and thought they could make their job easier by saying I was not there. It feels like once they mark someone as "not home" it falls off their list of responsibilities so they can be done quicker. This has happened on multiple occasions and it is truly extremely annoying.

This is one of the worst experiences I have ever had with delivery providers and now DHL eCommerce is like a curseword to me. First of all, their couriers expect me to telepathically predict when they're coming to the door because they don't even bother to ring the doorbell, which makes me pretty sure they're not even coming to the door. Further, the company's policy is not to call the recipient on the phone number provided (if, for example, they can't find a place to enter), which is absolute nonsense. And on top of all that, since you don't have telepathic abilities to predict that the courier has arrived - they don't even try to deliver the package the next day, they just return the package to the sender, which is simply unbelievable. I'm surprised they don't just pick up and throw the shipment straight into the canal.
And after you try to call their customer service, not only do you have to wait half an hour for someone to answer, but their customer service doesn't answer anything more than boilerplate sentences about how there's nothing else they can do, it feels like you're talking to a machine. And after that, they start screaming, as if to stop being nervous and show emotions, because they can't do anything. No, Karen, you can do something about that, you can burn that place from the inside because this kind of service delivery is tantamount to a scam, where neither the customer of the service (the company that ordered their service) nor the customer of that company receives any service from DHL eCommerce, they just take it brokerage fee for absolutely nothing.

No delivery, no service.

Don't use! I have been waiting over 3 months, and find out they sent two parcels back to the US. They had my address, my mobile number, my name and instructions to deliver, but after no communication, they send my parcels back, as they left a digit off my home phone number and said they couldn't reach me. Rubbish! They tell me they can't pull me up on their system, despite having all my details. I have to run around finding some order number, and do their job for them. Hopeless, disappointing, time wasting. Terrible system.

For some reason the handbag I ordered used this horrible service. No live tracking, just repeatedly longer estimates into the future with references to "delays." Supposedly, it will arrive 9 days from the day I ordered, which I don't trust, b/c again, no live tracking. How could a big brand use this terrible service for shipment within the United States. I'm planning to dispute this transaction with my credit card company and never buy from the company LeSportSac who cheaply used this useless service.

Forgery by DHL driver
September 12, 2023

Driver signed some scribble art work as my name and stole my package! $300 retro shooter console. I havent got any news back after I filed my case with DHL. I went ahead and filed a police report. Well see what happens. Next step is to hit the bank and dispute the charge. I wish these merchants would stop using DHL

I got an email saying they tried to deliver my package but no one was home even though I have been sitting here, in my house, for the last 2 hours. I called customer service to try to get the driver to come back or to see if I could even find him to get my own package as I am leaving the country in an hour and need this package before I leave. They were either unable or unwilling to help and said they will deliver the package without a signature tomorrow. Why did they require a signature today then?!? I am so upset as I really need this package. I will never use DHL again if i don't have to. Unbelievable.

I paid $250 for shipping to bring this part to the United States, from the fact that the pieces cost me $250. I called this company and they are not responsible for anything, they don't say nothing.

Honestly the joint worst delivery company in the UK. No way of active tracking, drivers do not get in contact if they cannot find address, no live tracking, no way of contacting customer service, phone kept hanging up and not let me go past tracking info, sent emails, left messages, tried calling NOTHING all day. The urgent package i needed today is delayed again because of the obsolete systems this inefficient company is utilising. Please update your systems. You can hire me if you want it would be easy!

Simply unreliable

The worst company for deliveries. Never once have they actually delivered to the address. And more so they then send you to one of their posts which has no information on google and their schedules are a joke.

Horrible customer service

I spent over an hour trying to correct the spelling of my street on the website and it's not set up to allow me to. Then I called and the service representative changed the spelling and said he would notify the driver, but he accidentally changed one of the other letters causing the street to still be misspelled. When I called back the new rep said she couldn't correct the address. When I told her the last guy did, she said I was incorrect and no one could change it. When a manager called me back he said the address was the same as the original address. I explained to him that it was not the same as the address listed on the text from his company, and that it had been changed with the first rep. He dismissed this and told me I was wrong that the address was changed, and then abruptly told me he could do nothing to change the spelling. I have never dealt with this company, and never will again. Horrible service!
I would give a zero rating if it was permitted.

I am planning to have my housewarming party, so my relatives posted some important items from India about 100 KG. But this package is still getting delayed response. On top of this issue, customer care is more mess and good for nothing. Customer care reps do not know anything expect telling the same, which is displaying on website.
Now my event is in big question mark and going to screw up all the planned event.
PLEASE DO NOT TRUST THIS DHL SERVICE AND DO NOT PLAN ANYTHING BASED ON THEIR SCEDULED DELIVERY DATE.

CRIMINAL EXCHANGE

This is VERY BAD service and does not require a single star. The package was to be delivered to us yesterday 9-6-2023. Our office was OPEN and operating with a staff of 05. The office has a functioning doorbell and entry door CAMERA as well. No one came.
However we received a call from DHL TEL # *******090 saying the driver attempted delivery
And no one was available at the delivery address. We immediately called the above DHL TEL # *******090 but no one answered. Called again a couple of time and no one answered.
When we called DHL we were given automated options to pick up the package from their authorized service center which is about 8 miles away. The agent who informed me where the authorized service center was did not have the SERVICE CENTER tel #. I did google that and got the tel # from the address and called them, They told me they did not receive any DHL deliveries yesterday 09-06-2023 and today 09-08-2023 up to 11.489 am.
DHL was unable to give me any indication when the package would arrive.
In the meantime, the merchandise in the package was to be checked for quality and sent to LONDON for an URGENT show.
Now time is running out. We are keeping our fingers crossed. Now the customer in LONDON is mad at us and probably will drop us! We have a few more days.
The financial part of the transaction went off with clockwork precision. No delays on our part.
They got their money.
In business and in life every transaction is an exchange.
1) Even Exchange. (Service and product for the agreed fee)
2) Exchange in abundance.(Service and product for the agreed fee plus going an extra step to assist complete the transaction)
3) Criminal exchange. ( Service falling way below the agreed upon terms)

Guess what we received so far is the "Criminal Exchange".

DHL attempted to deliver my package, but it took 2 tries to be successful. First time, they said I wasn't home, but I was. I did note that they left a note on my front door so they did actually try, but for some reason I must not have heard the door bell. I rescheduled the delivery and changed it to contact-less delivery and they delivered it 2 business days later.
I advise that you choose contact-less delivery unless it is a high value item because you might not get your item delivered, even if you are at home.
All that said, the initial delivery attempt was on time.

As a customer I have to say it one of two best countries companies I have dealt with. On time, with info about delivery. DHL is not dumping good to garden or in from of the door while I'm at home.

We ordered a PS5 and delivery would take place the next day. We receive the notification that this would be delivered between 1800 and 2200. Around 1900 a DHL van arrives further down in the street. Delivery guy steps out and apparently just walked around his truck (according to observant and trustworthy neighbours) and jumps back in to his van, drives around the corner and we receive the notification that the package has been delivered at our neighbours because we weren't home... bear in mind we were watching the truck and the neighbour where this package allegedly was delivered did not receive anything.
This was on a Saturday and seeing that DHL is the worst delivery company around, their customer service was obviously closed. We called bol.com where we placed the order and they informed us that they unfortunately couldn't do anything on a Saturday as DHL doesn't even have a contact point for their major customers. Bol.com, a good company with good customer service, started an investigation and after a week told as that they would resend the PS5. Unfortunately this was done through DHL again, and now again we haven't received anything. I'm sure that bol.com will make sure that we get our package but please bol.com dump DHL as your supplier. These guys are untrustworthy and in my opinion criminal. We never have these problems with Postnl or DPD. Also please advertise which subsidiary uses which delivery service so that your customers can stay clear of these DHL thugs.
