Two years ago, in February 2019 I attempted to make a $600 purchase on DGHate. At the time I paid with a bank transfer (Portuguese payment method "Multibanco"). The transaction was canceled by DHGate. I repeatedly contacted DHGate to have my money returned. I finally gave up after a few months and back and forth emails and messages. The money however remained in my DHGate wallet. After two years, I decided to return to my DHgate account to spend the $600 plus in my "DHGate account". To my surprise, the money is no longer in my DHGate account. This company is a scam. Does it rip everyone off? Probably not, but the odds of losing your money are better than 1 in 2. Just check the positive reviews, less than 2% over the last 12 months!

Never again dhgate.co

I paid 72.16 dollars for a flower girl with navy blue flowers as was on the photo. I got Royal blue and of course the wrong size. Wedding is in weeks time and i have to figure out what the flower girl dress will be. I am so mad and its not worth even the wait. Can you send me a refund people. See the difference on the photos. Its very upsetting.

I have ordered a shipment of about $1200 AUD for my business only to receive an empty box. Straight away I contacted the seller only for him to tell me I'm a liar.
I sent photos and even the postage sticker only had. 5kg on it when they say it should have 6kg.
After I opened dispute he sent through one that says 6kg. I uploaded about 3 pieces of evidence that was required and still I was made to run around. After telling the investigation agent that I believe the seller is suspicious (after thinking MAYBE something happened in transit as benefit of the doubt) the agent relayed that message to the seller directly. I then received a barrage of insults from the seller and no response from DHgate.

Absolutely discusted highly advise to watch out. Please pay with PayPal as they will protect you in these situations where as DHgate does not let you pay with PayPal.

I will be moving my business dealings to another platform in due time.

Total rip off

Paid $55 for a pair off sneakers waited exactly one month and when the package finally did come it only contained a plastic shoe tree i tried reaching out to the seller and got no response and the funny thing is before i made this purchase i contacted the seller asking for more pictures and he answered right away moral to the story is don't waste your time or money on this site it's a total rip off

Some hidden gems!

This site has got better just like Aliexpress has.
It has some very good bargains, most have free post and you do not have to buy in bulk.
The orders you make can be cancelled if you choose and the refunds happen within a week.
A huge site to dig around!

I can't write a review because after reading this page off comments I didn't order, I do have a suggestion for Solution everyone on this page should contact their State Attorney General and explain the situation. That's what The AG office is for, protecting citizens from scams. They take the necessary steps to investigate companies in and outside of this country. Don't hesitate to tell of this sites numbers of customers that had a bad experience.

DO NOT USE - SCAM

Company is a pure scam. They ask for bank statements, photos of the credit cards front and back, transit information, hold on to your orders, take your money then say of the refund will take time.
No product ever arrives.

Bridesmaid dresses

I order two bridesmaid dresses on 16 March 2019 paid $360. I log in with my password and order the dresses, I was waiting for tax invoice / shipping details and it has not come thru.
I log in and my password in and it comes up invalid, I tried three times and I cannot get in to check my order confirmation and shipping details.
If this website is scam, why has it shut down and people should get their money back

I placed 4 order with diferents items on January 3,2019 and paid $403.9. It now March 25,2019 and i still have not received my order. When I contacted them they told me my order were canceled and Dhgate should refund but unitl not feedback from them. I been send message to them keep saying in 6 week you will get you money back. I think I was ripped of $403.09. I will never order from this site again It's a SCAM!. But I will continue asking for my money.

I ordered a dress for my son's wedding, after 2 month I received it, I love the dress but it didn't fit. I wanted to exchange it but being that It took 2 months to get the first one I decided to order a new dress and return the first. The second dress looked nothing like the first. Now I have two dress, neither that I can wear and they won't let me return even one of them.

I ordered an item on February 14,2019 and paid $20 extra for 3-5 day express shipping. It is now March 21.2019, and I still have not received my order. When I contacted kennethy ( the seller) he told my order was returned and was being sent out by a different shipper, but couldn't supply any tracking information. I attempted to contact Dhgate, via thier messaging, but it kept sending me to the live chat option, so I tried that, a message would come up saying I was #5 in the queue, then after waiting, a message would come up saying, you live chat will begin soon. Then l get a message saying live was no longer available. How could this be the case, if this a 24/7 chat service. Also there were all instructions on the customer dispute page, but link to actually initiate a dispute. I was ripped off for $73.69 by Dhgate. I will never order from this site again! It's a SCAM!

I ordered sneakers for $60. They create a shipping label then mail a piece of paper with that shipping number to a wrong address so it looks like your delivery is complete then they take your money. If you contact seller they never get back to you, if you contact customer service they send you in circles for weeks and months. I looked up other reviews and this same thing happened to hundreds of people.

Purchase an item.

An item was ordered & paid for, money was withdrawn from my VISA account and two days later they cancel my order because of lack of payment. After two more days of back and forth emails, I now have to wait 5-7 days for my own money. How do they stay in business.

I had ordered in first week of january and got confirmatory mail that order has been delivered and by 29th jan it will be delivered. But not received yet, its mid March already... Since January I have sent several mails but no response. 116 dhs gone... would request people not to order from them... not genuine site...

I BOUGHT A HAIR DRYER FROM DH GATE AND WHEN I WENT TO REGISTER IT FOR THE WARRANTY WITH DYSON THEY ADVISED ME THE PRODUCT WAS A COUNTERFIT AND WOULD NOT WARRANTY THE HAIR DRYER. I FILED A CLAIM WHICH REQUIRED ME TO RETURN THE ITEM WHICH THEY SAID THEY WOULD REIMBURSE. THE RETURN USPS COST WAS $71. DH GATE IS IGNORING MY EMAILS AND HAS NOT REIMBURSED ME THE POSTAGE.

SCAM FRAUD Warning

I ordered and paid in December before Cristmas. Received notification that my package was delivered; only problem was I never received it. Contacted the seller who assured me my order would ship. Could not dispute because it was before the 30 days and already showing a received status. Seller luozh23 no longer has a store in DH Gate. Contacted customer service several times, only to be told to contact the seller or wait for customer service to respond. No response. No refund.

I made an account on this site dhgate.com and on February 26 I made a purchase, I have the invoice of the credit card proving that the discount was made. Anyway, after the end of the purchase, the site says that there was an error in the purchase, however, as I said, the purchase was discounted yes. I recommend that you do not make purchases on this site, it is scam, do not deliver the product nor return the merchandise. In the playstore app is full of people complaining about retained money and not returned.
