After more than a year buying from dhgate I am happy to continue my shopping there.

Some sellers offer top level both in quality/price and customer service, most are less stellar but still more than good. Few (encountered 1 recently) are not, but dhgate is very helpfull solving issues.

Will recommend to anyone.

I was scammed only once on this site because seller hid the color option for item I wanted (vinyl wrap for cars) so I received wrong color. DHgate did not accept my reclamation because there was specified which color I wanted and did not matter if it was visible clearly or not. Also lost some orders which I paid but they never came. However, this is normal when you buy a lot and there are many packages coming. Chances are some will get lost.
Every other experience was excellent. I am buying much on this site, thousands of dollars, and never had problems. Customer care is good, problems always resolved.

Problem with fenteng

I don't have a problem with DHgate, but I have a problem with vendor fenteng. They sent me a bass that did not work properly. They ok'd me to send for repair. The repair shop needs a diagram/schematic of inner wiring. I've asked for a diagram for almost 2 weeks and they (fenteng) act like they don't understand whar I am saying. All I want is to get it repaired and be compensated for the cost of repair.

I have bought 30 psc of game controllers and seller sent me them with logo shifted to the right by about 10 mm and downward 5mm. Shifted logo is big disadventage because the logo is the main reason for buying this product. I opened the dispute and attached a few pictures as evidence from which are immediately and at first sight obvious that the logo is very very far from the place where it has to be. DHgate disput team has suddenly made decision in favor of seller. I was shocked and tried to make appeal and in that intention I sent them four messages in the last two days. DHgate promise that they will respond on every message within 24 hours, but similar to so called "buyer's protection" behavior, they did not respond to any of my messages. Beware, there is no "buyer's protection" on DHgate except "seller's protection". DHgate always make decision in favor of seller.If you have the adversitiy to have to open the dispute, be sure that you will not succeed. There is no chance to get dispute in favor of buyer on DHgate!

- Now DHgate will replay that I agreed to have the dispute closed.
It is not truth, that I "agreed" to have it closed". Why would I open a dispute, and then "agree" to close it without any benefit?
And two: I've sent email to xujinhuan[at]dhgate.com and customer-support[at]dhgate.com, but sending email there is same thing as send it to Black Hole.

I have bought many things from DHgate. Some good, some bad, some really bad. The biggest issue is they don't need to tell you if it's a knock off, because, well, it's China. If you need to return something it will be a hassle. The good... they have things at reasonable prices and most of them don't charge shipping.

Make sure you know what you are buying before you buy. If you do that, then you should have a pleasant experience.
