95% of the time a hell of a deal!

Always a good friendly nd fast service, they dont mind giving you a refund when you actually have the rights for one. All by all great service/helpdesk and the sellers are also very friendly! I would defintly recommend DHgate.

The worst I know...

As long as everything goes as it should it is quite OK...
But...

1: login with capcha is very annoying.
2: Searching on the site is a nuccance.
3: Payment system fails 2 out of 3 times
4: Duplicate orders (if payment fails the first time)
5: very poor communication (too many emails with lack of information)
6: "live" chat is a robot!, no way to get into contact with dh-gate (they just don't answer)
7: refund to dhpay account, and having to pay a fee to get your money back!

Not all it seems.

I had enjoyed my time on DHgate until something went wrong. But, after a seller sent me the wrong (inferior) item, that all changed... I was told that I could NOT make a claim unless I sent a picture of the received item, & despite me telling the chat person that I have virtually NO computer skills & that I did NOT know how to do this, they insisted on a photo... when I became frustrated with her telling me to do things I could not do, I cut off. She did ring me from China to try to help, but I still could NOT do it & hung up. Later I took a photo on my Ipad and much later again I tried to send it, but I never heard back & I have had trouble before with its not sending emails. Again despite my pointing out to her that I could send a photo of anything(which I couldn't do anyway) & what would that prove? They chose to NOT believe me! Now they are allowing a cheat & liar, masquerading as an "honest merchant" to get away with not sending the right thing & pocketing my money, simply because I have few computer skills... I will NEVER trust them again & have NO intention to ever use them again!

Good experience with DHG

I have been shopping at DHGate for almost 10 yrs now, I have had a few problems but those were minor with sellers but all were taken care of by DHG.
If item defective or not as described DHG make sure the seller pays for return shipping fees. You have to be very insistent to get your refund. Takes a little longer then I expected to be, but you get your money back. Shipping is always on time.

I wrote safe since i purchased an item which didn't arrive for a long time. So i opened a dispute and within a few days DHgate found the dispute in my favour and refunded me fully. On another experience i had bought items and received them promptly, faster then described and the items are of good quality and at a great price.

I have constantly been given reliable and responsive replies to questions I have asked DHgate. Along with customer service all of the products I have received match the description of the product along with the stated specifications. I put this down to DHgate keeping a good overview of all the sellers on their site. If you were to have a problem or issue with a product and the seller is not responsive I am reasonably confident DHgate would step up to the mark and help you out.
If you still remain sceptical order a low priced item and discover for yourself that their site DHgate.com will work for you. The one thing you need to keep in mind is the shipping time of 7 - 25 days on average from the date the seller ships your order. The length of shipping time is because shipping is free and this naturally means the shipper needs to economise the cost by using the lowest price method as possible. This could include the use of bulk mail sends often through a number of different handlers.
So it is my experience that shopping at DHgate poses no more or less issues with an online seller anywhere in the world. I am happy to shop at DHgate and have bought a number of items on different occasions usually at a much lower price than I can buy locally or individual online stores.

I've been using DHgate for roughly about 6 years now.
I've never had a problem with product description, delivery timing, pricing, or the quality of the products which i have purchased.
HOWEVER, I would like the sellers to keep the communication going with me about the products I buy, if i ask!
(ie:- Asking a sellers advice or tips on how to properly wash & care for a wig... I still havent had a reply 5 weeks later)
I am prompt and efficiant in buying and paying these "sellers" as I am being a good reliable customer. I would expect the same respect and manners in return.

Exemplary Customer Service

DHgate has a very efficient/effective customer service and quality control model. Although some sellers may have language barriers or vague descriptions of products and often unjustified claims of shipping times; both buyer and seller are protected within this model. I have made many purchases on DHgate and with their model both the seller and myself have always come to an agreement. DHgate ensures that all sellers claims are fulfilled and ensures payment of the buyer upon this follow-though.
