I was scammed a lot in china, trying to buy products for my business, until I registered with DHgate, the sellers are honest, they don't get their money before you receive and are satisfied with the products this makes it easy to shop in china now with a piece of mind.

Great site for wholesaler or startup

I have purchased 10 items from dhgate and everything is as advertised. The escrow account help hold the funds until the product is received. Some of the item have been delivered faster then i thought.

Best prices anywhere, have only had 2 discrepancies. And the 2nd 1 is supposedly being taken care of, 1st one wasn't exactly the item pictured; well it was but didn't come exactly as shown, still gets a 98% score from me

dhgate.com employee's very stupid

Sometime in july 2016 i bought some stuff on dhgate.com. I resell at local flea markets. I seen AVG anti virus going for a good price so i bought 10 boxes. Under the Quantity box were the words, " shipping cost: Free ShippingtoUnited States Via ePacket" so i assumed i would be getting the items delivered to me. It shows a picture of the software and box. It turns out that its a download. I asked the seller for a refund and he told me no, i replied back that i sell at local flea markets and i cant sell downloads, i need the AVG in the box. He said it would cost too much money to ship them out and that i should sell them online.
This is where dhgate.com shows off the intelligence and competence in reading comprehension and problem solving. I asked dhgate.com for a refund, they have this thing called buyer protection, it must be for local Chinese buyers only. After i explained everything to dhgate.com employees, they sent me an email saying that they will give me a full refund when i give them a tracking number. I wrote back again and explained everything again and i made sure i mention download a few times. They wrote back saying that they can not give me a refund until i send them a tracking number for the items going back, i wrote them again, same reply, i wrote again, same reply, this went on for 2 weeks until they said that they are going to release the funds to the seller because i did not give them a tracking number the the returned items. I never downloaded anything. I never got what i paid for, instead i get a bunch of dumb asses who either can not read and should not be working in customer service, or they simply do not read customer emails. It has to be one or the other. If they say that is not true, then the third option is they are there to rip people off and ask for things that they know the customer can not provide in order to get a refund, like a tracking number for a internet download. Today is August 31st 2016, its been about 2 months or close to it. I received another email today, can you guess what they were asking for so they can give me a refund?
NOW TELL ME THAT THE EMPLOYEE'S AT DHGATE.COM ARE NOT THE DUMBEST IN THE WORLD..

Terrible I've been going back and forth with DHgate over a dress I purchased a month ago; The Logistics Operation Team has been no help they tell me to contact customer service and I when I do it's just automated pop ups. I ordered a really cute dress for my birthday order #******* and they can't give me any information on where the dress is located they keep saying it's been shipped but the tracking number is invalid I explained this to them plenty of times and they keep saying their team is a shipping issue team only which is crazy because my issue is that my dress has false shipment information; I really wanted to keep ordering from them but this will more than likely be my last time. On top of that I can't even get a refund what a way to ruin someones birthday

DHgate has a wide selection of products to shop from. They are very price competitive and offer many values. Overseas shipping takes a little longer, but the savings are worth the wait.

I would never trust DH Gate or their sellers again. I expected mediocre cheap goods to be shipped from China, but didn; t anticipate getting completely scammed by both a seller AND DHgate.

I purchased lot of 12 mardi gras masks from a sellers who specifically listed them as metal. I received a torn package of broken and/or chipped, poorly painted, plastic masks. Sellers specifically lists on their page a promise of partial refund for damaged goods-I contacted them three times and received not one response.

I then contacted DH Gate who refused to respond.

I'm out $13.50-which isn't a lot but still, the experience was beyond negative and I learned that even DH Gate is not to be trusted.

Try AliExpress-better prices AND customer service.

Bought what they called 'generic Latisse" - wasn't Latisse (Bimatoprost) at all! Used their product for a month and was wondering why my eyelashed were falling out! Looked closely at the label and NO Bimatoprost in it all (THAT is what Latisse is - you cannot and should not call it that - false advertising and deceptive!. DHGate told me they would not help me and to contact the seller directly who also did not stand behind their product - I had to dispute it with my credit card co. Will NEVER use DHGATE again!

Where to begin without giving you a migraine as well...? I've ordered several times from this site, 3 of 7 orders never arrived. The hurdles you have to go through to try and get your items or a refund are insane and they make it as difficult as humanly possible to do this. Plus, they have a time limit on how long it takes to resolve the matter before they close it and keep your money forever. They drag out the process so the time limit expires and you are screwed. Seller's with high ratings and thousands of transactions on their profile means nothing. They are shady con artists and DHGate is pro seller, anti-buyer. Their app is not user friendly when you need to upload evidence and the website is just as bad. You'll give yourself an ulcer trying to get your refund or your order. It's a lose-lose situation.

Good experience but warning

I had good expériences with DHgate but some sellers don't mentioned in the listing title that some of the customizations options are available with an extra fee.
You know it only when the order is placed and ready to be paid.
