DHGate may be cheep, and exactly that. When something goes wrong there is no one to be found. No contact number. No actual Customer Service. I have tried jumping through the hoops, but have been unsuccessful in the process.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND SPENDING A FEW MORE DOLLARS FROM ELSEWHERE TO ENSURE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

I am impressed with their efforts to earn and keep my business. However, this kind of treatment may encourage me to buy more than I really need. :) But, I'd do it willingly.

Big user of the site with few complaints until I realized they allow sellers to add faulty invalid tracking numbers to purchases. Even when the seller admits to doing so and states package won't arrive and wasn't mailed, DHGate will still make you wait until delivery time to open return request "incase package arrives" even though everyone knows there's nothing coming. Customer support will just stop responding to messages; they will read but not respond.
If you get an honest seller then all is normally ok; just hope you don't have to deal with DHGate support because they will not help. Make sure you purchase everything via credit card so you can chargeback if you have any issues.

- 5-90 days if your package was shipped via UPS, FedEx, TNT, DHL or USPS.
- 7-90 days if your package was shipped via EMS, E-packet or E-quick.
- 10-90 days if your package was shipped via regular post such as China Post, Hong Kong Post, etc. Dispute buttons will automatically be activated by our system on these time frames and there is no option to override the process.

I have been on dhgate for over a year and I am very satisfied with my experience. The sellers are great for the most part, but DHGate always make sure that you are happy as a customer. The coupons and discounts are insane. Everyone should check it out you will not be sorry.
Delightful to do business with; the silk scarves are lovely, the transaction was seamless and quick; I will order. The only thing I could possibly wish for is to be able to order all in one neutral or white color, so I can add my own dyes and surface design artwork.

It's a decent system, but you have to be careful. Item descriptions are often wrong or contradictory, and sometimes sellers will ask you for more money after you have placed an order. Ignore them if the order has shipped, cancel the order if it hasn't. You get what you pay for, and it's not always cheaper or better to buy here. That said, the counterfeit Arduinos work very well.
I have ordered several items on DH Gate and had situations with other sellers where DHGate support had to get involved to resolve.
I was very pleased with support team responsiveness and resolution of my issue.

Most of the phones I found that stated "4GB RAM" or "3GB RAM" in the title were actually 512mb or 1GB phones, info burried in smaller print 3 pages into the description. This will be a problem for dhgate reputation as people order one thing and receive lesser products later.
Otherwise, the agent support was seriously amazing. Was helped by Lorie who did help me find what I needed. I was very appreciative of the extensive help.
Answer: Yes. Even when they send you the wrong product, dhgate finds for the seller, not the buy. Stuff sent isn't what is advertised. So many unhappy customers, that's why I posted my review. Will never buy from them again. Ever

Answer: Do not trust DHGate. It is a scam organization. They sent me the wrong merchandise. I had to send them "proof", and then I would have had to pay for the return postage. At that point I called it quits, and will never deal with these guys again.
