As a person that has used Dealfind to advertise my small business I am surprised by some of the reviews here. Maybe the difference is that I took the time to actually read through my contract and negotiate certain terms with them instead of just getting over excited and blindly signing on the dotted line. I gave them a picture for my page and they had their guys add a nice border and some relevant text to it which I was happy with. Any errors that happened to make their way onto my page I had my sales rep fix immediately. Personally I feel I have had a good experience working with them and will consider doing it again in the future. As for redeeming coupons, we have honoured every coupon that has been redeemed by our customers, so not every company with them is a scam.
Worst experience ever,
As buyer never get the service done,
Refund in DEALFIND DOLLARS... WTF...
And all this after 2 weeks of calls waiting 15 minutes on hold every call,
Don't use is a real scam!
MERCHANTS BEWARE, Deal Find is one of the worst Deal companies out there. They have completely ruined our business.
Let me tell you our story.
For years my business partners and I (5 in total) have been running a very successful company. We love what we do and we work hard at what we do.
In recent times, we decided to pursue the avenue of selling our products through Deal websites. Thus, when one of Deal Find's sales agents contacted to us to promote a deal, we were all in.
We ran our deal and it was very successful. We sold a high number of services/products. Everyone was so excited. However, when the deal closed and the time came for the ball to get rolling we found ourselves on a very bumpy road.
First, Deal Find neglected to pay our agreed percentages on time. We were constantly calling the company to get our payments. In fact, to this date they still owe us for the remainder of our Deal.
Secondly, the delay in payment meant delays for customers. This caused customers to report our company as fraudulent scammers. Ect and we constantly received harassing email, phone calls, visit... whatever else you could think of.
Thirdly, they ignored our emails, phone calls and other methods of correspondence. The only time they communicated with us is when they feared their butt was on the line. They are all about customer service yet they have no business service skills. Repeatedly we ask the company to work with us to serve our customers better. That did not happen.
FINALLY they allowed customers to return everything and anything even after the 30 day mark.
We could go on forever but I am sure you get the general feel of why we caution merchants beware.
As a result we have nearly had to close our doors. Our business now has a horrible reputation all because Deal Find neglected to pay us, the MERCHANT, supplying the product/service on time. Of course, they put all the blame on us... not really surprised.
After reading all the comments we are sorry to hear we are not alone.
We wish everyone all the best in recovering from their unfortunate situation
Dealfind is a SCAM! I've purchased close to $300 worth of vouchers for skydiving & other gourmet food items, and guess what? These companies are either out of business or shady. I haven't received any of the items I ordered and the skydiving company CANNOT be reached! DealFind isn't responding to my emails and am still holding (1hour) for the 'next available agent'. Never EVER purchase vouchers from them.
I am an owner and operator of a small business and decided that I would give DealFind a try.
Definitely a waste of my time. The consultant was pushy and unprofessional. She said that she had 'suggestions' for my deal, but really she was telling me what my deal was going to be. I literally had no say. She wanted to cut my deal price down even lower than what I had originally wanted, and on top of that, she wanted to add an extra service to my deal. It was getting out of control! I was also sent an email with 'details' about my deal that looked like it had been slapped together within seconds. After reviewing the deal that was thrown together for me, (and reading the horrible reviews online about DealFind), I decided that it would be in my best interest to let them know right away that I no longer wished to run a deal with them. In the long run it just wasn't worth it for my business.
I don't normally write reviews, but after reading all of the reviews on here, I decided to share my story to let other small business owners know that they should really think twice before launching a deal with DealFind.
I find that dealfind.com has better products and things I am more interested in than groupon, wagjag, etc.
However, they have the WORST customer service out of the 3. The website gave me a free coupon when I signed up but didn't explain the amount. When I typed the coupon code into the website nothing happened. So I pressed enter. It turns out, without my knowledge, dealfind.com had saved my credit card information and it put through an order for a $70 air duct cleaning service I had never wanted in the first place.
I panicked, called the customer service line and never got through over a 4 day period. I filed a complain online with them and heard back the following week. The man on the phone explained that they would cancel this order and refund my card after speaking with the vendor over the next 2 days.
I hadn't heard anything from them, despite my many emails, until March 13th, where they asked if i wanted a refund on my $70 or if I would prefer to have "dealfind.com credits". I requested a refund, which they said they would process immediately.
It is now the 22nd and I haven't had any amount refunded onto my credit card. I am so pissed that this has taken almost a month to figure out.
I would still recommend people buy their products, but only if they are absolutely sure they want the deal.
The website says it gives excellent customer service and will take care of customers if not satisfied. I have requested a refund two times on the online form because the owner of A Atlanta Rug Scrubber is saying I have to pay more than what I paid for the voucher. A Atlanta Rug Scrubber is getting horrible reviews and the owner has done this to numerous people, said they needed to pay more than what they bought the voucher for. I have called Dealfind numerous times and contacted people via email and on the website. Nobody there, neither the owner or CEO, whose contact info I found online, is responding to my request for help.
Horrible customer service! Try getting a refund, you'll wait months and get thrown around and around and around... they say they'll refund your full money back within 30 days. Just try it. Their customer service line keeps you on hold (I'm on hold now for 35 minutes and counting), they take forever to email you back, and when they do, they don't give you the refund, you have to keep asking for it... i'm still fighting to get a refund for something I bought in December last year and applied for the refund within the 30 days. You never work with the same person so you have to keep explaining your problem each time you talk to someone new. And it's only $29 I'm requesting back! Seriously, if it wasn't for the principle of it, I would just chalk up that $29 to a good lesson learned - never buy from Dealfind!
Dealfind offers deals that they do not stand behind. Once the transaction is completed, they refuse to get involved when merchants cannot complete their end of the deal. Remember the old adage " If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is."? That sums up Dealfind. Terrible response time with customer service as well. Weeks of dead air before replying.
They are going out of business. They just fired 30 people last week and claim they are making money. They would be lucky to making 1.2 million a year and thats being conservative. They hold companies' money because they have none, they send cheques to wrong addresses on purpose, and they have hidden fees everywhere in the contract.
Anyone looking for a job; DONT GO TO DEALFIND.
Once you establish enough business for them they don't require your services.
STAY AWAY, FAR FAR AWAY. Mike and Gary squeeze everyone for what they can get out of you and throw you out like a used math quiz; everyone is just a number.
They claim you can make $85,000... with base and comm... haha. Livingsocial, Groupon, Wagjag, Teambuy and all the rest of the deal sites value you and your hard work.
DO NOT USE THEM!
My boyfriend bought a deal back before Christmas. It was for two movie tickets through fandango, a $50 walmart.com gift card, and a $20 gift card to restaurants.com. All for a mere $50.
He paid. There were immediate problems. He tried and tried to get the codes for the different deals. He had trouble with the walmart one right away. He contacted dealfind and they said that they new there was a problem and they were working on it.
He got the fandango one. And the restaurants.com one. So, he got busy and kind of forgot about it.
We went to use the movie tickets this last weekend and the code wouldn't work. Fandango said that the code had been "cancelled". So, my b/f called dealfind and asked about it. Their reply was: "Oh yeah, that deal is no good. They couldn't fufill the deal. Send us an email about it and we'll refund you."
Well, my question is, if they knew that the deal was no good, then they should have refunded everyone IMMEDIATELY! And when did they know that it wasn't good? Before we called about the walmart issue?
They are blaming it on a 3rd party - digital doorstep - which is apparently now out of business.
My b/f emailed them on Saturday and they got back to him today (Thursday) that they would either refund him (if he provided his credit card info) or give him $50+10% dealfind money.
WHY WOULD WE WANT TO TAKE A CHANCE ON USING THEM AGAIN?
And i searched the internet and there are DOZENS AND DOZENS of complaints about their actions!
SOMEONE START A LAWSUIT! WE'D DEFINITELY JOIN!
THEY ARE SCAM ARTISTS!
STAY AS FAR AWAY AS POSSIBLE!
Paid for a tablet computer on Dec 26,2011. It is now Feb 17,2012. Still have not received it. Multiple emails and phone calls later. Unable to reach partner site (Fabuless.com). Dealfind also can 't reach them. Total loss = $97.00. Would say that Dealfind offers to refund. Proof will be in the pudding. Will update this review. Dealfind admitted their problems with Fabuless, however, they needed to do their due diligence and research their partner sites.
DO NOT USE DEALFIND.COM! I have used many online discount services, living social, groupon, bloomspot and never had any difficulty. I bought two vouchers from dealfind.com and have not been able to redeem either one. One business does not exist and the other gives me the run around when I try to redeem their voucher for a car wash. They are scam artists and obviously do not screen their "merchants". I
I bought a coupon from Dealfind. The service was really bad - it was advertised as a Studio and Spa, but really it was a place for manicurist students to practice (there weren't even any teachers there), so my nails are ruined. I contacted Dealfind three times, asking them to look into it and asking for a refund. They replied that they will get back to me, but they have not after 33 days. BEWARE of Dealfind. A terrible, unreliable company
Always read the reviews and questions and do your homework on items that are for sale. Don't always trust the fine print in the ad, I've learned this the hard way along with many other Dealfind customers. If an item is too good to be true... remember, it likely is a scam. Don't be greedy, be smart! I would much rather see a great deal posted in my local newspaper or an ad on the radio or tv and buy it directly from the company then go through Dealfind, they have lost my respect as a buyer.
I bought 4 vouchers for Healthsmart chiro-therapy thru them 2 months ago on November 18,2011. I was charged for 8. They refunded 4 I didn't want after a month but... the 4 "deals" I bought was for a non existent company apparently. Healthsmart chiro-therapy never answers their phone, doesn't return messages, etc,. I can't confirm they even exist. I have contacted Deal Find several times. I am still waiting for them to get back to me concerning this business and a refund. So far have not heard back nor received a refund. I will never "deal" with dealfind again. Big rip-off!..
I purchased the flying shark by widget love. I bought it as a Christmas present and submitted my voucher on Dec 3. I didn't need it until Jan 6, so I thought I had plenty of time. After 2.5 weeks of waiting, I called widget love and left a message. They never returned my call. I posted an email. They never replied. I called dealfind.com to ask for either the product or a refund. The girl told me that the company had better response than expected so they were having to go through a different vender to send the orders. She said that I should receive the order within a week or so. A week or so later, I called back because there was no product. No response from widget love. Dealfind.com says that the product is being shipped from Canada and has to go through customs. So, give is another week before requesting your refund. I called back today (2 weeks later). The guy told me that there was a problem with customs when the product was shipped, but the issue has been resolved and the product has been shipped. I should have it within a week. I told him I didn't want the product anymore. Just give me the refund. He said to fill out their contact form requesting a refund and when I recieve the product to send it back the merchant. They would process my refund once the product was verified as returned. I asked what I needed to do if I never received the product. He said call back in a week.
Honestly. At this point, if I receive the product, I should get to keep it and get a refund. But, I am happy to return it if I get my refund. I don't want it or anything to do with widget love or dealfind.com. I am prepared to dispute the transaction and report these companies to someone if I do not receive the refund or the product. We'll see what happens.
The terms of the deal I bought were changed. It was at Cruz clinic in montreal. When asked if there were other fees. They said: Samantha (Dealfind Admin)09-Nov-2011 2:15pm (EST)
Hi Andrea,
Thanks for your post!
Taxes are to be paid on the price of the voucher, which is $119. This is to paid directly to the merchant on your first visit only.
Hope this helps!:)

But the Clinic charges them EVERY time we have an appointment!
And now, nobody answers my email.
The clinic said that it's dealfind' s mistake, that they didn't fo their job right. Dealfind says the opposite, that the merchant changed the terms.
But the worst? Even knowing Cruz clinic are not honest with bad customer service (i told them the clinic is always late on appointment, if their machine is broken, they don't tell you to cancel the app., the receptionist is also the one performing the treatment, so she stops and answers phone during your treatment.) Dealfind still do business with them, by having them advertise another deal.
And also, dealfind will delete bad comments, even if they are polite and RELATED to the deal.
I had never sold anything on a site like this so I was pulled in good. With everything that happened when all was said and done. I have to pay the shipping charges which I knew but they said I would still profit. Well guess what I am going to be in the negative and owe a lot of money which I do not have. My friend is a lawyer and I will talk to her. Do not go to Dealfind. If I did not have to pay shipping then it would be fine. The shipping charges are murder. They said shipping would not cause any problems. Sorry to say it will break me if I do it. I will talk to my lawyer friend and if I can I will send a note to every customer telling them why they are not getting their item. I am just sick about this.
Thsi site is not just hazardous to companies but, also, to customers. They are notorious for taking money but not solving issues such as the flying fish promo from WidgetLove.com. They do specialize in a runaround and avoiding refunds with the sketchy companies they do business with. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Spread this to your friends, make it go viral and show companies such as this that consumers can and will protect themselves.
Answer: They are crooks of first kind. I had coupons with no expiry and restaurants have changed ownership. Coupons are worthless and Deal Find doesn't want hear about. Theirs reps are rude and stubborn. Good luck to you but don't hold your hopes high as they ARE crooks.
Answer: I paid 25 for a Dealfind restaurant voucher. Is it kaput or will the restaurant honor it?
