I purchased an earing and necklace set for $29 they advertised it as being reg $293 what a joke its from dollarama. I emaied Dealfind told them it was scratched, peeling and glue everywhere they said call SHIRIN D CENTER THE COMPANY THAT SOLD IT TO ME. I call and the guy on the phone tells me off and say's no refunds call Dealfind they took your money? What a joke talk about being scammed. $29 is not a lot of money but it's the pricipal I can go to Dollarama and sell these set's with a $28 markup and get rich real fast. Not fair I'm discusted with the fact that their are companys out there like this that do this to innocent hard working people like me. DON'T BUY ANNYTHING FROM DEALFIND YOU WILL GET RIPPED OFF TRUST ME...
I am a customer. I purchased a cleaning voucher which will expire September 27,2012. After several attempts to use the voucher, I could not get in touch with the cleaning service. I asked dealfind for a refund and they refused. All they want to give me is dealfind dollars for some other voucher. I don't want to do business with them anymore. I just want my money back but they refuse. Everyone beware... don't do any business with dealfind.
I bought a voucher for 2 nights at a resort in Collingwood the georgian manor resort, turns out they have no more availability this summer after selling over 1000 vouchers, when I contacted deal find for a refund they said they could no longer refund me since I had purchased it over 2 weeks ago, I am so angry, this is a clear SCAM, not sure for what part the resort or the deal site. I have also seen the same resort advertised many other sites, why are they still selling if they have no availability, so that means i have just lost $89 dollars, did not get my resort stay and now what? How can they sell something like this, this resort have so many mad, really bad reviews I am just sorry i didn't read them before falling for this.
DO NOT USE THIS SITE.
I've ordered two things from this site directly (Bottle aerators, crystal pendant). The aerators took well over a month to get to me. If I hadn't e-mailed them, who knows WHEN I would've received them. Guess what I'm waiting on now... the crystal pendant. Want to know when I bought this deal? 3 weeks ago. I just e-mailed them a few minutes ago and am now waiting on a reply. Please, let me save you from a load of anger... don't use this site. Ever.
I ordered $10 for 2 Hanging Tomato Planters, Including Taxes and Shipping from Track Your Deal ($60 Value) - guess what, I did not get them! Customer support is horrible, they do not know anything and you cannot get your money back, call your credit card. I will never use it again!
This company is dishonorable and should not be able to operate. I bought a voucher for a port dalhousie boat tour which the tour operator will no longer honor. I contacted Dealfind to get a refund first by email (2X) and by phone. There was no customer service contact by phone -only email which they haven't responded to. I tried the back way in through accounts and was then sent to a automated response line. It is impossible to get a hold of them and they have no interest in helping the customer out. This is quite a contrast to my very positive experience with Wagjag.
Watch out... They are clearly out to get your money, and don't care if you are satisfied. A product I purchased did not work as promised so I contacted the company. They company, to their credit, offered a refund but that it had to be processed through Dealfind. Dealfind clearly got upset at the company (didn't tell me but it was kind of obvious). I haven't heard from either in over a month...
Horrible! They double charged my credit card. Sent email within the 1 month time frame... sent 2 more over 3 weeks. Finally got a response, that it was over the 30 days!
Well if someone had responded to my original email instead of delaying
Response this long, then it would not have went over the time frame. After
Doing some research online, looks like this is a strategy of Dealfind.
This was not even buyers remorse, but a double billing on my credit card!
I also tried calling several times, but Dealfind does not have live people
On the phone. Every extension sends you to the website. Customers are just
Not important enough to have the privilege to speak to a dealfind employee.
Deal find has zero support and does not care about their customers at all.
The statement you make on your website "If you're unhappy with anything you
Bought..." should be removed, as it is a bold lie.
Shame on Dealfind! You have lost a customer and I will never recommend the
Site, and will post my feelings on every blog possible.
Of the few dealfind deals I have purchases, only one has turned out to be completely legitimate. All others including laser hair removal, laser acne treatments, window washing and toothbrush heads have been bogus - the retailer has not lived up to their end of the bargain. I probably should have learned after the first bad experience, but I just kept trying. No more.
HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!
Emailed them for a refund for an unused voucher that I bought, but changed my mind and wasn't going to used it, so the next day emailed Dealfind for a refund. Got a "we received your email" message, but no one followed up. So I emailed again and have not heard from them.
I bought some hanging tomato planters from Dealfind through Track Your Deal (a separate website offering the actual product), and I got scammed! I placed the order, and when entering my credit card info, I clicked the button for "use billing address for shipping", but somewhere between there and the confirmation email... guess what, my address conveniently got changed from Massachusetts to NORTH DAKOTA. NOWHERE in my billing info, or credit card, or anything else I typed does it say NORTH DAKOTA. And even if I actually had accidentally typed North Dakota into my billing info and didn't realize it, it wouldn't have gone through because it didn't match my real address. So, needless to say, I did not get my hanging tomato planters, and obviously nobody from Dealfind or from Track Your Deal is answering my emails (Track Your Deal is conveniently ALWAYS closed... whenever you try to "chat" with a customer service representative, it says they are not available because the office isn't open). I tried calling Dealfind (*******369) but they do not have phone support for customer service. They direct ALL customer service requests through the useless "contact us" message center on the website... which obviously never responds to anything, ever. So, I started calling up random sales people there (start with extension 259, then 258,257,256 etc etc) to see if they were of any help... and I actually laughed out loud when the woman on the phone (Karen) literally said "I'm in sales, I don't do anything." Verbatim. She literally told me she doesn't do anything. I didn't disagree with her.
Congrats, Dealfind... you lost ANOTHER customer. Good luck with your inevitable bankruptcy.
I have had terrible experience with this outlet or whatever it is. Most of the products I purchased were unfortunately from China. One item I received was totally useless and when I contacted Dealfind Customer Service, they told me to contact DinoDirect myself and try to work out my problem. The product I ordered would not upload to my computer and it would have cost a fortune to send it back to China so I was stuck with it. I would definitely recommend people to stay as far away from this company as possible. Terrible customer service and unethical practices.
"If you're unhappy with anything you bought from Dealfind, tell us and we'll do our best to make things right" - that's on the front page of the site. I bought an item that is defective and asked for their help with exchanging it or getting a refund. Their response: if the item was opened, we don't give refunds, deal with the merchant yourself... If that's their idea of making things right, they shouldn't be in business! If Amazon or Groupon did that, they'd be history a long time ago!..
DEAL FIND IS FRAUD!
I bought two coupons from deal find or one company Enviro tech, they didnt show up and now they are not picking any calls. And Deal find is refusing to refund. Please be careful while buying any coupon from them.
Thanks
Wow... about some of these comments slamming customers... as much as I sympathize with >> some <<< merchants, as a customer that has been taken by these deals, I find it insulting to be told we are "ridiculous". It is completely ridiculous for a merchant to not see how 200 customers suddenly wanting massages for 20.00 each, etc is a huge loss. How can merchants promise this? This is not our responsibility! Its poor business sense. Rather than "vanish" changing your numbers, and shutting down your websites on poor customers why don't have the decency to email all the customers and explained what happened? Even I can add numbers to see I can not clean 200 houses at 20.00 each with a staff of 8 people without upsetting customers with 2-3 month long waits for an appointment! So before you slam clients for unrealistic expectations, take a look at what your offering and add the numbers. For any type of service and no cap on the amount of vouchers offered, its poor customer service guaranteed from the start if your going to take a month to even call a client back!
I've used dealfind.com only a few times and have had problems with my orders on nearly every single occasion. In fact, I've been emailing with "customer service" about my latest problem and asked why they have been so delayed in resolving the issue. I got this response from the representative:
"I apologize on our end, we are dealing with a few hundred cases a day per rep."
A few hundred cases a day PER REP sounds like a lot. With that kind of volume, they cannot possibly be working with reputable vendors or offering deals that live up to their promises. This could explain the trouble I've had.
I learned from experience that you must check out the company (ratings, legitimacy etc) BEFORE you buy the voucher. Their refund policy is if you used it, you can't get a refund. So if you use the voucher and realize that the deal was a bad deal or you didn't get what you expected, you're out of luck. No refund whatsoever! So it is buyer beware and buy at your own risk. Their customer service promise is a bunch of b. S. as well. We want to make you happy but we won't give you a refund for lousy service. I will not be buying from them again, ever. Dealfind is only interested in getting new customers and not retaining existing ones. Stay away.
I purchased a $39 hair cut and highlights voucher supposedly worth $350 at the Jacques Michael Salon in LA. I had a TERRIBLE experience with the stylist who participated in the deal and found out that the Dealfind description was entirely inaccurate and definitely a scam. I had paid an extra $75 for highlights and tip in the salon, on top of the horrible haircut I got for the voucher, only to have to beg the manager to fix my hair after driving back and forth there 3 different times and ending up in tears after the original stylist screamed at me about it being her day off and that there was too much traffic to fix it. She had even admitted it looked weird the first day but insisted that it would "calm down" once I washed it. (I am writing a review about the stylist on other more appropriate business content review sites as well.) Responding to Dealfind's customer satisfaction guarantee, I emailed for a refund of the $39 voucher, only to get one response saying that because the manager had "fixed" my hair for me in the end (which they didn't really, just made it more bearable, and still not close to what I wanted), they would not refund the voucher. I replied to this that it didn't make sense, and got no response back. I will not be using Dealfind again and would highly recommend double-checking the stated value against the actual cost of the products they are advertising as supposedly discounted. There is NO way that a haircut and half highlights cost $350 at the Jacques Michael Salon! They have either not done their research on businesses they work with OR simply lie straight-out that they care about customer satisfaction... neither option is good for business. Do not trust the customer satisfaction guarantee!
Dealing them has been a total nightmare for me, we bought 2 vouchers of
$85 for a 7 Inch Google Android 2.3 Tablet I from Fabuless and it has now been over 3 months since and I never got the product, they finally sent me an email telling me that they will not send the tablets and to request a refund and I did, I followed every step and have not got any reply back. Today I called to ask and as soon as I mentioned what happened they hang up the phone. They sells those "good deals" just to get all the money from the 1500+ customers knowing that they would not deliver the product, who knows what they do with the money from all this people all this months! BEWARE, and stay away!
I was very excited and bought Dealfind vouchers for few of my favorite things. Some were good some weren't. I was first ticked off when a friend told me she got a full refund and I didn't! I got attentive.
After the initial few months Dealfind has been falling apart. Some of the vendors shut down... some wouldn't accept reservation even though their system showed vacancy.
The worst part is that after a short stay in Toronto we moved to California and I had vouchers from last year that I haven't been able to use. I asked them for their Dealfind dollars instead because I cant use Toronto vouchers any more.
I must mention we did not expect this move at all. We were actually looking out to buying a home in Toronto and settling down till this unexpected move happened.
They replied saying that they make excellent gifts...
So I have Canadian Dealfind dollars that I cant use in US and 118 bucks worth of Canadian vouchers... Seriously it's a loss of almost 200 bucks! I am so disappointed! Where do they think they score with customer service?
I had teambuy vouchers and they refunded my vouchers once I explained my situation to them.
Absolutely shameful Dealfind!
Answer: They are crooks of first kind. I had coupons with no expiry and restaurants have changed ownership. Coupons are worthless and Deal Find doesn't want hear about. Theirs reps are rude and stubborn. Good luck to you but don't hold your hopes high as they ARE crooks.
Answer: I paid 25 for a Dealfind restaurant voucher. Is it kaput or will the restaurant honor it?
