I purchased the wrong face shield, however the local Cycle Gear personal steered me in the correct direction and ensured I had the correct shield delivered to my home within the week.
They sent me what I was looking for in good time. And the product works great.
I was trying to order a front and back tire. I entered the back tire in the order form, then I entered the front tire. When I reviewed the order it had changed the front to the same as the rear, two of the same. I went back and changed the front to the correct tire and went to finalize the order, it looked OK. When the tires were finally delivered, I got two rear tires! Now I have ordered a front tire again, and have to figure out how to return the extra rear tire.

Everyone these daze expects a five star rating for services rendered. I ordered, I paid, I received heaps of email updates, item arrived. As it should be. A passing grade.
I love the helmet I purchased, the quick release is awesome. I ordered a flat black helmet but received a glossy one, really disappointed in that but otherwise this was a great purchase.

I purchased tires from Cycle Gear since it was convenient for them to mount the tires for me. They did not tell me they couldn't mount the tires on my rims until I brought the wheels into the store.
Next time I will buy tires from my dealership!

The online store is fine, but in the future I think I will go to the store to buy stuff. The shoes fit great, but one of the jackets was defective and you couldn't get your arm in it. The other stuff was ok but I probably would not have purchased it if I had tried it on.
I needed something warm to wear on cool wet days. Alpine Star products give you the bang for your buck. I popped into the store to try on a pair for sizing then ordered a pair right there to be delivered to my home. The experience was seamless. I received my package within a week with messages letting me know its travel route and expected delivery. Perfect. Love my Stella Andes V3 Drystar Pants. I look forward to testing them out this fall.
Ordered several items on a Sunday, on Monday received an email that one of the items had shipped, but the rest where still being processed. By Wednesday morning I got an email that the one item was out for delivery, but the remaining items were still in "processing". This was concerning because we were leaving on a trip in a couple days and needed those items. The website had said they would ship next business Day and still haven't shipped 3 days later. We ran out and bought replacement items for the items that hadn't shipped yet, only to find they had been delivered, inspite of the website continuing to say they had not been shipped. So, we double bought items because of an error in your website. Website not to be trusted, will buy elsewhere in the future.

I don't know where CG and Revit got their size info, but even though my wife's measurements were right in the middle of the size range, the pants wouldn't come close to fitting. On the plus side, we just rode down to our local CG store and it was happily returned and refunded by the helpful folks there.
Ordered a pinlock lens for my visor. It arrived bent, scratched, and dirty, with the protective film already removed. Obviously someone tried it and sent it back.

Staff was friendly and helpful and the website was easy to use
The staff was great! The issues came with the purchase. First, they don't stock ANY helmets in my size so to try anything on I had to wait a week. Once the helmet arrived it didn't fit so I felt I wasn't well counselled. To compound that I was told that because I chose to buy a riding jacket there and was then offered a 10% coupon I couldn't use it because I wasn't a "new" customer.

Ordered part. Arrived early and had great customer service.
I received my package both early and in perfect condition! My package included safe packaging, stickers, a receipt and even an insurance card which was honestly very thoughtful!

Everything was fine, but confused because i ordered 2 tires and one came in a box and the other just came with a shipping attached to the tire. I would've preferred two boxes to prevent the potential for any accidental damage/etc. Just a suggestion for shipping in the future

Answer: Your local dealership will almost inevitably be superior to CycleGear, in every respect. The reason for that is your local dealership will cease to exist if they don't offer their customers the service, support, and products that they are looking for. You might not find it on the shelf right then, but every dealership has the ability to order in what you want and they will price it fairly, because they know that you can go elsewhere. These internet retailers need to be put out of business, by us. All we have to do is shop locally.
Answer: There's nothing legit about the website. They have stores in many different cities around the US, but their customer service is almost as bad in-store, as it is from their corporate call center and internet department.
