Getting tires go 2 bikes. Bought one set in the wrong size and the exchange was super easy. Had one set installed and balanced. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff at local shop. I've been burned by the local BMW shop doing a crappy job, so I double checked the mounted tires on my home bubble balancer, and they were perfect. An overall great experience.
Because I tend to have minor issues with some online commerce, I went to my local Cycle Gear to see them in person. The size I required was not included. Stock, so the sales person ordered for me, on the spot. I received online shopping reward points, same as if had ordered without assistance. Shipped free right to my door so no need for return trip to store to retrieve. Bonus, if sny issue with order/sizing, rather than deal with return shipping, option to drop at storefront and have it handled without hassle. Cycle Gear, Baybrook, Webster, TX (Bay Area blvd). I bought from your website cuz you get a mounting deal in the store… however this is the 2nd time the riverside ca tire machine was broke and they told me they couldn't do it. Why don't they fix it or have a 2nd backup machine. I then called Fontana. No surprise theirs was broken too. I then had to drive all the way to Fullerton to get it mounted and I explained to the guy if I can get it done right then and there because my local stores machine was broken and he said no it's a 24 hour process. So now I have to make two trips to Fullerton. Just not a good experience with getting it mounted
The sales associate was friendly, knowledgeable and provided a real assist in finding a stater motor. The tire was delivered quickly. I was notified immediately.

Needed to try on different styles to get an accurate size so went to local Cycle Gear to try on a few styles, found one I liked but was just a little small so ordered next biggest size from girl in store, when it got to me tried it on and fit was great, love the jacket
I ordered this dual controller to replace a decades old unit that finally expired. I like the LED readouts for heat levels and the fact that the knobs hold the selected position better, both notable improvements. LHopefully, this unit will last as long as the one it replaces.

As a New Rider I Definitely appreciate all their help in answering my Newbie Questions and assistance ordering some of their products. They have Definitely made me feel welcomed and at home whenever I'm there.
The ship dates on the multiple items I ordered were all different. Tires came one day, brake pads a few days later, the rotor a few days later. My expectation was they would ship everything at the same time.

I found a very good price online for a helmet that I wanted that was available with open-box discount. I had it shipped to the local CG store so I could try it out in store and there would be no issues if I wanted to return it. As it turned out, I was more than happy with the helmet, and the price I paid for it.

Great jacket has lots of air going through it. Read all the reviews and they were saying the sizes run small. So I went a little smaller but should have just stuck with the original size instead. Shipping through fed ex was a complete joke!

I purchased Sistema III replacement cheek pads for my Sistema II helmet. Based on customer reviews on your site, I believed they would fit my prior generation helmet. That turned out not to be the case as the fasteners are different. I will be returning the product.
Answer: Your local dealership will almost inevitably be superior to CycleGear, in every respect. The reason for that is your local dealership will cease to exist if they don't offer their customers the service, support, and products that they are looking for. You might not find it on the shelf right then, but every dealership has the ability to order in what you want and they will price it fairly, because they know that you can go elsewhere. These internet retailers need to be put out of business, by us. All we have to do is shop locally.
Answer: There's nothing legit about the website. They have stores in many different cities around the US, but their customer service is almost as bad in-store, as it is from their corporate call center and internet department.
