I love using Cycle Gear for my motorcycle needs. I find its layout relatively easy to navigate & user friendly. They have good deals & their customer service is good.
The jacket is just what I wanted and fit is perfect, as long as you order by measurements and not your normal size as it runs small.

The in-store shopping experience was fantastic. Knowledgeable and friendly but not pushy sales staff. The 2-day free shipping that was offered for signing up as a member was quite disappointing and frustrating. Not only did we not receive the helmet as promised, it delayed our riding plans.

Cross shopped the Pirelli Rosso Corsa 4 on various sites, and Cycle Gear had the best price and free shipping. The tires arrived in 2 days without wasteful cardboard packaging.
I placed an order for swing arms spools on January 24th and I did not receive the product until February 4th, but it was supposed to have two-day shipping. I suppose the shipping was completed within a two-day period once the package started moving, but I thought I would have dispatched sooner and I was lead to believe that I would have received the product much sooner. At one point during the waiting period I did contact customer service and they told me this happens from time to time, and I should just wait a bit longer. I paid extra for a membership which should include two-day delivery, so I feel the membership is not working as expected.

I checked these boots out in the store and liked the fit and look. After thinking about them for a bit I decided to order online. They're leather so they will break in a bit, but even right out of the box they are surprisingly comfortable and I could see myself wearing these to walk around in for a while. When I have them on I don't feel like I'm wearing something too big and clunky.
Shipping online at Cycle Gear is always easy. The product descriptions are informative and accurate and shipping is fast. I've never had a problem. Shopping in store is an even better experience. There employees are great and very helpful.
My Roadmaster was at the dealership getting work after hitting a deer. While it was there, I decided to get new tires while it was on the lift, so it would be ready for long trips when done. They didn't have the AE4 at the dealership, so I bought them and the dealership agreed to install them while it was there. The whole process was seamless

CycleGear has been my motorcycle store for all my needs for both street and dirt bikes for many years and across many states.
This will be my second pair of O'Neal motorcycle boots. I purchased both through CycleGear. The boots are great for the price and very comfortable. My only issue was the shipping. It seemed to take forever. Not many updates either.

Answer: Your local dealership will almost inevitably be superior to CycleGear, in every respect. The reason for that is your local dealership will cease to exist if they don't offer their customers the service, support, and products that they are looking for. You might not find it on the shelf right then, but every dealership has the ability to order in what you want and they will price it fairly, because they know that you can go elsewhere. These internet retailers need to be put out of business, by us. All we have to do is shop locally.
