Quick, easy and using friendly searching. Competitive pricing and great option to ship to store.
Easy to buy - got complete gear and recommendations with expert advice
Ordered women's riding jeans. Took a week to arrive, didn't fit, can't return to the store? So now have to pack them back up, take them to UPS store, and wait even longer for my refund. If Cycle Gear would just stock their stores, would save a lot of time and unnecessary trouble.
Great prices/icon inventory. Shipping to AK is a major plus. Phone reps are polite and assisted with making sure my order arrived on time.
I stopped by my local Cycle Gear store to look at some riding jackets that could be used for cold weather riding as well as hot weather riding. The person that helped me was very knowledgeable and was a great help in deciding on a jacket, without any pressure. I ordered the Sedici Alexi 2 Mesh Jacket and it arrived in just a short time. After riding on a couple of short rides as well as a more distant ride, I found that the collar of the jacket has velcro and something on that collar rubbed on my neck for the entire time which caused me to have a significant irritation or chaffing in that spot. Ouch! Other than that, the jacket was fine and it works well with my airbag vest. Hope Sedici can fix the collar issue.
I like it but the only thing is it it didn't glow in the dark! Which is suppose to that's why I chose it! But it didn't. Other then that I like it. Thank you!
I selected ship to store and then use Apple Pay to checkout. I then received notification that the helmet is being shipped to my house.
Your developers built a system that ignores user preferences (to ship to store) and overwrites that with the 'shipping address' presented by Apple Pay. Not giving the customer a choice in shipping.
I called support IMMEDIATELY and was lied to about it being a security feature. I'm a front-end developer and I know when I'm being lied to about basic we stuff. This is a UX bug, and support people shouldn't lie to cover up issues. I was also told it was too late (immediately after ordering) to make any changes, or to cancel the order.
Sounds like you guys have zero control over your fulfillment, and no desire to support customers in their purchases.
I appreciate the fact that Cycle Gear has a store in my area where I can try on stuff before I buy, and if they don't have what I want in stock I can order online. It helps that prices are in line with other stores as well.
Eli gave quick service getting my tire replaced. I would only suggest to only state policy of 24 hours to replace once, then tell them what it will most probably be.
Service was great. Only issue was no call when installation was completed. I called to learn it was ready for pickup.
Good Good Good Good Good Good Good Good Good Good Good Good
Great service quick got my order within a few days with no hassle.
I purchased a 50cc scooter for my daughter. She needed a helmet. The scooter dealer recommended Cycle Gear. We visited the local store. The gentleman who helped us, Rich, was very professional and attentive. He stressed that even though the scooter has a top speed of only 30 mph the safest helmet for my daughter would be a full-faced helmet.
We found a full-faced helmet that had the option of being open-faced and full-faced. Next, he had my daughter try on a Small size of that helmet. He made sure I understood how the helmet was supposed to fit, and he determined that the Small was too big. After checking his inventory, he told us he did not have an Extra Small but he'd check the other store in town. After patiently and thoroughly working with his colleague at the other store he confirmed they too did not have the helmet we wanted in inventory. He referred us to other shops where we might find a helmet and we left the store.
We visited 4 more stores in our attempt to find a suitable helmet. None was to be found and none had delivered the customer service we received at Cycle Gear. I went home that evening. Found the exact helmet we saw in the store online and ordered the Extra Small she needed. My order was processed quickly and I received the helmet ahead of the expected delivery date. With Rich and Cycle Gear's help, I am confident we landed on the best helmet to protect my daughter while she rides at a price we could afford.
I bought the seat for my 2007 CBR 600, it's very comfortable. It does add an extra 2 inches in height compared to my older seat.
Prefer not to. Here is your 20 characters so I can complete.
The staff were very knowledgeable and kind, really helped secure my needs specifically
Answer: Your local dealership will almost inevitably be superior to CycleGear, in every respect. The reason for that is your local dealership will cease to exist if they don't offer their customers the service, support, and products that they are looking for. You might not find it on the shelf right then, but every dealership has the ability to order in what you want and they will price it fairly, because they know that you can go elsewhere. These internet retailers need to be put out of business, by us. All we have to do is shop locally.
Answer: There's nothing legit about the website. They have stores in many different cities around the US, but their customer service is almost as bad in-store, as it is from their corporate call center and internet department.
