Once again it took a week to get something promised at 2 day shipping. There was no information via tracking site(s).
So I asked multiple times via customer service page but didn't get any response until AFTER the already-late item arrived. The you give me store credit? What the actual f*... You're apology is just to lock me into your crappy service further?
I'm tired of hearing promises of two day shipping. It's a fng lie. There is always an excuse. Yes, this is a very "first world" problem but you're the ones breaking promises. Zero reason to trust cycle gear.
Also, you start with prices higher than anywhere else. Most times you have a excuse to not price match.
But even if you do, why should I bother? It takes DAYS to get a response and I can already have the better priced product delivered by the time you even get your act together to price match. Then I'd just have to wait on your excuses and slow shipping...
CG brick and mortar are nice but understocked.
CG web is OK for browsing but at this point I go elsewhere unless I "have" to buy from you.
Shipping speed is unreliable - even as a "RPM" member. To ACTUALLY get 2-day shipping we still have to pay more. This BS about business-days-only counting is misleading.
Streamline in-store returns and pickup, as an option in the interface. This would probably save overall shipping costs as CG could bulk/freight ship returns or even restock into stores for items returned in perfect condition.
By now you have lots of data about what sizes i've purchased, and KEPT, so you sh/could suggest how items may fit me and recommend sizes.
Helmets are one of those things you have to try on. An XL from one manufacturer and and XL from another could be wildly different. Cycle Gear has good selection and knowledgeable staff to get the best fitting lid you can get.
This is a good company with some great gear. You can't go wrong with cycle gear.
Order a tire for my Harley and wanted to have it mounted there since they offer that service however they said it is a 24 hour turnaround. So picked up the tire and went to the bike shop down the road (Orand City Fl)and paid $60. They had it done in 1/2 hour.
I call them and did the order on the phone vs. ordering online. The customer assistant was awesome. Saved me a lil money and had the part shipped to my house. The on line tracking indicated it would be a week. Day 4 and my beauty was on my doorstep. Thanks for a great experience

I ordered a product on Monday, was supposed to arrive on Wednesday, product said "2day shipping". I called on Wednesday and they haven't even sent out the item yet, said it was a "hiccup". I received my product by Friday. The rep was nice tho, he took care of it!

If they don't have it in store they'll order it no problem. I've had bad luck finding gear and they're always there to help me get it straightened out. Most recently was the alpinestars riding hoodie. Had no idea there were color option and a pullover option either. They gave me the info on all of it. Even helped me look up certain specks for it to compare to my nbt hoodie I own
Customer service in store is amazing
I ordered online and didn't have any problems! Our store here where I live isn't very welcoming so I will be ordering online from now on when I need anything. Package was in great shape and products was exactly as described. I did read some reviews before purchasing and some were bad but we haven't had any issues with our Bluetooth we purchased. It works very well and we can't hear wind or anything!

Answer: Your local dealership will almost inevitably be superior to CycleGear, in every respect. The reason for that is your local dealership will cease to exist if they don't offer their customers the service, support, and products that they are looking for. You might not find it on the shelf right then, but every dealership has the ability to order in what you want and they will price it fairly, because they know that you can go elsewhere. These internet retailers need to be put out of business, by us. All we have to do is shop locally.
Answer: There's nothing legit about the website. They have stores in many different cities around the US, but their customer service is almost as bad in-store, as it is from their corporate call center and internet department.
