Good overall shopping experience. Jacket runs a little small not able to zip it up unfortunately they dont make any bigger sizes however ill keep it snice its its the only Jacket I have at this time that works for the hot summer weather
I ordered a jacket online that isn't sold in store for an upcoming ride. When I arrived, it was too big. I returned it at my local store, they exchanged it and a new one and the right size arrived at my door before my ride. It's exactly the type of experience you would expect in today's online ordering.
I ordered what I thought was an Arrow exhaust system. The item arrived within 7 days, but didn't come with the muffler. I reached out to CycleGear, and after deciphering Arrow's product description, we agreed the item was supposed to be just the header pipes. CycleGear made the return process very easy, and I sent the item back with FedEx today.

Went for all the protective gear…the salesman patiently showed me several helmets, jackets, boots gloves and pants. He was knowledgeable, and all of the gear I ended up with is great. Also, I had been to several other stores looking for the right fit on a helmet, and none carried the right shell shape (long oval) the others just said I needed a large or extra large. I told the salesman, and the first helmet he put me in (m Signet-x) was a perfect fit. I tried several others but I always went back to the Signet-x. All in all great selection, great service, and fast shipping for the helmet (didn't have my color in stock) and some d30 hip pads that were just out of stock. Total experience was great!
I bought this Cardo with missing mount for a few dollars off to save some money. We'll it didn't mention there was no velcro to mount anything to the helmet with. I read over it multiple times and that was never mentioned. So now I have to buy another $20 kit for that.
I searched for gloves online for a while but this is a product you need to see, feel and try on. I went to the store and tried on several different pair. Heard about cycle gear from a friend. Tires were fairly priced as well as the mounting. Guys in store were great and very helpful, quick turn around. No complaints here.
I ordered a mount for QuadLock from their website. - Quadlock website recommended wrong product
- I paid for shipping
- It took forever to be delivered
- when it was delivered I discovered it did not fit
- I had to talk to customer service, go to post office, and pay shipping back
- it took them more than a week after my product arrived in their facility (and an email from me) for them to start the reimbursement.
- So 3 weeks total to pay $20 for a product that did not fit. Cycle Gear is awesome. Free shipping, two days, and if it didnt work I could send back or bring to store!
We were looking for a helmet that wouldn't cause me headaches. I was losing hope that I would be able to find one. The salesman was very helpful. After trying several, the one I chose turned out to be perfect. We just returned from a vacation wearing the helmet every day and never had a problem. I was overjoyed.
I want looking for a new 3/4 helmet. Colton was very good about informing me about the different helmets and that helped me make my decision on which brand. I ordered one, however had to exchange for a smaller size. Both shipments went flawlessly.

I've purchased 3 helmets this season, 2 of which were special ordered to the store, and had Bluetooth installed in each of them. The Alta Mere store staff is absolutely excellent.
The guys at cycle gear Visalia has always been so helpful to get me exactly what I needed. This is the first time I had an item delivered to my home from them and they made it easy for the process. Thank you guys!
The product delivered had relatively clear instructions and performs very well. The delivery time as stated on the website did not match the delivery time given by FedEx and was delivered late; the promised delivery time was 2 day delivery, however the delivery was not delivered till about a week later.
Can't get any better than Cycle Gear, they have almost everything you're looking for, and even some stuff that others don't have. Always a REALLY GOOD SOURCE to check for what you're needing. (the only reason I did the 4 star on the product was because it didn't come with hip pads- kind of needed in motocross- and I wished it had a key pouch on the inside- but that was the makers deal- not yours)
Used to buy ALL my gear from you guys, but Utah's store is on the other side of the city from me now, and Utah isn't as big on motocross as Vegas is, but still, VERY GOOD! Which IS why I'm back buying these.
Recieved the helmet, took it on a weekend ride with no incidents or drops. The modular mechanism is already failing and dangerous on a ride. The sound system is lacking though cool in design. I expected more out of scorpion and would like to return this helmet if I can.
Answer: Your local dealership will almost inevitably be superior to CycleGear, in every respect. The reason for that is your local dealership will cease to exist if they don't offer their customers the service, support, and products that they are looking for. You might not find it on the shelf right then, but every dealership has the ability to order in what you want and they will price it fairly, because they know that you can go elsewhere. These internet retailers need to be put out of business, by us. All we have to do is shop locally.
Answer: There's nothing legit about the website. They have stores in many different cities around the US, but their customer service is almost as bad in-store, as it is from their corporate call center and internet department.
