Had the very air bag jacket I was interested in on display. Young man there was very helpful and supportive. Answered my questions with knowledge and interest. Good help, good product, good price;
Thank Y'all! Jim
Sales person was very helpful and went beyond in making sure I had all the facts to make an informed choice. This is the second high end helmet I have bought from Cycle Gear. I'm Happy!
It was fine, but I was surprised at how long it took to receive the items. My helmet was broken, so I really needed the parts right away. The local retail store was also out of these two standard parts.
Cycle gear helped me order the parts and I had 2 day free shipping. Everything arrived on time and was what it was supposed to be.
Overall excellent experience. The website is easy and convenient to use. I got the parts I needed quickly and at a good price. Thanks!
I've been looking at the armored long sleeve shirts for a while now, but couldn't see paying full price. Then I saw one from Street & Steel in the Clearance section online... done! Great deal and free shipping! Win-win!
A screw in a motorcycle tire on a trip is nightmare fuel. Felix and the gang were a dream to work with and had my tire swapped in no time. Can't ask for any better than those guys.
This is a motorcyclist's dream house. The guys there were very helpful and explained all of the different brands to and their pros and cons!
I went to the Cyclegear store in Glen Burnie, MD. Salesman was very friendly and helpful. After looking and trying several helmets on, I finally found the one that fit well and one that offered a clear visor as well. The salesman ordered the clear visor for me and had it shipped directly to my house. I was very satisfied with my purchase.
The filtering feature on the website is basically useless. I input my bike information, searched "brake pads" and that yielded results ranging from brake pads to phone mounts to kickstand pads. 345 products, only 7 of which were actually brake pads, and only 5 if which were at the top. This feature could use some work. Otherwise, the website isn't terrible.
I went into cycle gear looking for jacket and boots. They didn't have the Antonio street boots ($100) I currently wear in my size, and instead of looking online, tried to upsell me on a pair of $400 dirt bike boots that he said were accidently delivered to the store. He then did the same thing to me on a jacket. I left, cot online, and bought the boots myself from the Cycle Gear site. I'll buy a jacket elsewhere.
Easy to find item. Store didn't have it so ordered it online. Store clerk guy didn't bother as to busy upselling.
Ordered a motorcycle helmet and battery for battery for my bike. Clerks who helped me order were amazing, friendly and knowledgeable. Order arrived when I was told by clerks. I'm a very satisfied customer!
Time for another set of tires for the Honda Cub. I have used three sets of these tires and they work great on the Cub. Smooth ride and great handling.
I like the installation discount from Cycle Gear as well. Always quick install and perfectly balanced.
Price is as good as, if not better, than any other dealer.
When purchasing gear, there is nothing better then doing it in store!
I had to order Klim to store, for easier try and exchange experience, but did not have to.
Unfortunately, all brands on the store floor run 3 sizes smaller - literally. Klim fit from the first try and i never wore this brand before.
The personnel (especially the lady that I can't remember her name) in the Ormond Beach store was great. She helped us with getting the right product and installing it.
This is my 3rd Givi Airflow windscreen, plain and simple they work very well. May not be the most attractive, but I'll take function for a comfortable ride any day over looking cool!
I navigated majority of the helmet myself, not many help being offered to me from workers when browsing. When I went up to them, help then was offered for appropriate sizing.

Got in there and I am a former motorcycle rider... well when I was 14 and now that I am getting back to it they helped me tons! Thanks!
I may not have gone with what we were originally trying for my first helmet, but they explained so much to me and helped me figure out what size and style helmet was best for my first one!
My experience was amazing. I recently returned to riding and needed a helmet. I went into cyclegear to try on a helmet and staff was more than accommodating with that. After that I decided to purchase a helmet online through cyclegear.com. My excitement led me to place the wrong size in my cart as I shuffled through different colors. I completed my purchase and soon realized my error. I contacted my local store and explained my dilemma. The assistant manager Sam was very helpful and made the exchange seamless. She also answered my questions about safety gear options for riding.
Received riding jeans, obviously previously worn and rode in, anyone that has ever rode on long trip knows the unmistakable smell of road and exhaust that gets in your clothes on a trip

Answer: Your local dealership will almost inevitably be superior to CycleGear, in every respect. The reason for that is your local dealership will cease to exist if they don't offer their customers the service, support, and products that they are looking for. You might not find it on the shelf right then, but every dealership has the ability to order in what you want and they will price it fairly, because they know that you can go elsewhere. These internet retailers need to be put out of business, by us. All we have to do is shop locally.
Answer: There's nothing legit about the website. They have stores in many different cities around the US, but their customer service is almost as bad in-store, as it is from their corporate call center and internet department.
