I have been going to Cycle Gear in White Plains for the last 2 years for all of my cycle gear needs. The three gentlemen, Anthony Mason and Nicky are very friendly and helpful whenever I stop by. They provide amazing customer service and we are always happy to see each other. I highly recommend for anyone looking for gear to go this location. You won't regret it!

I ordered a helmet and when it arrived the lid did not have the Styrofoam pieces in the box so the helmet was just rolling around in the box instead of being secured in place while in transit. This is not an exceptable way to transport a new helmet.
Everything but the time it took for my order to arrive at my doorstep was fantastic. The time it took to receive the order, not so much.
My tires were delivered in short order as promised. The tech working the cash was efficient and very knowledgeable. She even offered me some ideas on lowering the cost on my next tire order.
I found the right helmets for my wife and me on the website. The size chart on the ordering page helped me get the correct sizes for both on the first try.
If you do the ship to store option it is a bit confusing because you get notified by FedEx that your item was delivered, but they mean delivered to the store. Also, the fedex notice comes before the store is aware they have the item.

Tire ordered online and shipped to store - arrived quickly, and always happy to pay to have the tire mounted; saves a lot of grief. Cycle Gear is a good shop with a lot of inventory at fair prices.
Should recommend the tube that goes with the tire... make things easier. Also, having my bike on file does not seem to recommend parts for it. Just sayin.

I had to purchase a new tire for my motorcycle. The guys at my local store were great. Very helpful. I asked to see the old tire so I could figure out what happened. They saved it so I could look at it.
I ordered a new helmet online. The numbers from the size chart matched my current helmet. It was a different brand than what I currently have. When I got the new helmet it was too small. I had to return it. I just wish the size chart info had been accurate so I don't have to order something multiple times to get it to fit.
Good value on the cycle covers. I bought 2 so I could get free shipping. Delivery was a bit slow. Perhaps more distribution locations would help?

The option to skip the RPM cash should be placed earlier in the ordering process
I ordered an item and it was delivered quickly. It did not fit my needs but it was what I ordered. I returned it to the local cycle gear and was refunded my expense quickly.
So far so good, the item I require is ordered and that process was without hassle

Took advantage of the guys at Cycle Gear Reno as they installed my Cardo units in both of my helmets, changed out my tires, and activated my Yuasa AGM battery.
Answer: Your local dealership will almost inevitably be superior to CycleGear, in every respect. The reason for that is your local dealership will cease to exist if they don't offer their customers the service, support, and products that they are looking for. You might not find it on the shelf right then, but every dealership has the ability to order in what you want and they will price it fairly, because they know that you can go elsewhere. These internet retailers need to be put out of business, by us. All we have to do is shop locally.
Answer: There's nothing legit about the website. They have stores in many different cities around the US, but their customer service is almost as bad in-store, as it is from their corporate call center and internet department.
