I went in to see if they had the jacket i was looking for to try on and get a sense of fit. They didnt have it but the employee working found a jacket with the same sizing chart so I could get a feel. He ordered the jacket i wanted to the store so I could try it on and make sure it fit without having to deal with a return process. Jacket fit perfect.
Great service always what I expect close to home a lot of merchandise to try out and they give me time to do so. I will go there again.
Went to a local cycle gear store and tried on multiple brands and styles. Was able to try on the size 44 which was close but too tight on my right foot. They didn't have the 45 or I would have bought it there but looking online they had plenty of 45s in stock so went home and ordered it. I think it was a Wednesday afternoon and it came the next Monday. Wore them around the house for about 6 hours and that broke them in. You'll need some wide pant legs to get them over the shin protection which I have ( iron workers jeans). Glad I got these boots!
Choosing a gift card was very convenient and easy. The only down side was that many denominations were available except for the one I wanted which was for $75. I ended up having to order 2 separate cards.

Your system does not filter well to things that fit my bike. I do not want or need to see tires that won't fit.
I always shop my local Cycle Gear when I can, but they didn't have my size so I had to order it online. As always it showed up in a couple days. You can't go wrong with the prices or the service.
I'm really happy shopping at Cycle Gear. They have a great selection, reasonable prices, and a flexible return policy. Will definitrly continue to shop here many more times!

I bought a pair of Rev'It gloves in store and they were too small so I brought them back and ordered the next size up. They were totally cool with it and the new gloves delivered in a few days. All good!
Online order for my specific purchase wouldn't allow me to ship to store(so I can have them also mount). So I went to the store to have them order for me. They knocked it out & a couple days later, tires were in & my wheels were mounted same day! The managers there are absolutely on point.
Jake sold me an Arai helmet a couple of years ago and it needed new cheek pads. He installed them for me also recommended a new visor which I purchased because the original was very scratched and worn great customer service and product knowledge.
Took my old tires and rims to Cycle Gear and they in good time had them changed and mounted. Very good to do business with. I will buy from them again as needed.
I've recently had the pleassure of doing business with CycleGear near Pittsburgh Pa. I ussually order online but working on two different bikes, I have found a lot of issues with wrong parts being sent or just not fitting properly, which brought a lot of difficult issues with returns, most requiring cost to do so with some even adding restocking fees, even when it was their mistake. (improper listing or web site issues) I decided to try doing inperson purchases to give some control over these ridiculous business practices. CycleGear was the only place near me that handled the same parts for my peoject, and I must say, I am impressed. Not only did they ordered my parts, the parts arrived much faster and was exactly what I needed. Great business and people working there! They now have a customer for life! Thank you all!
Bought some shoes in the store. Ended up needing a size bigger, but didn't have time to take them back right now. Ordered and shipped the right size, quick delivery, and I will take others back soon as I can.
Been out of riding for 10 years. Maddie and crew were incredibly helpful and fun deal with. Will continue to shop there.
All indication is that this helmet will be awesome. It is so far, I am three rides in…. I will follow up in a few months and several hundred miles….
The only issue I have is not being able to upgrade the firmware in the helmet. The app is telling me that an update is available and no matter what I do, I can not initiate a firmware upgrade.
I ordered the tires from cycle gear on the premises that I was going to get 10% off for signing up for receiving email and text. Once I placed the order it stated I don't get the 10% off due to not my first order. Then I had the tire mounted at the store and I was charged disposal fee a second time. I feel I got ripped off. The store i picked the up at and had them mounted stated they had 24 hour turn around time for mounting when I called. When I dropped my wheels off on Saturday 10 A.M. they said I would be lucky to get them back by Monday
The person that handled my order when i picked it up at the shop was very courteous and efficient. I would order from cycle gear again.
Answer: Your local dealership will almost inevitably be superior to CycleGear, in every respect. The reason for that is your local dealership will cease to exist if they don't offer their customers the service, support, and products that they are looking for. You might not find it on the shelf right then, but every dealership has the ability to order in what you want and they will price it fairly, because they know that you can go elsewhere. These internet retailers need to be put out of business, by us. All we have to do is shop locally.
Answer: There's nothing legit about the website. They have stores in many different cities around the US, but their customer service is almost as bad in-store, as it is from their corporate call center and internet department.
