Delivery time was on point with 2 different orders being combined into 1 order. Changed an order from 2 day to 3 day but that was because of FedEx, so no biggie there.
There weren't any XL Simpson helmets on display, tried on a LG and that helmet opens smoothly with no creaking noise,the XL Simpson I got makes a horrible creaking noise, when changing it to the open face position. Thought it might be the visor locks so I Called and asked if you guys sell the visor locks but you don't offer them, so I bought a one from Speed Addicts and it didn't change the creaking noise. Hopefully I can return the item and jst buy one from the Simpson website. I've only worn this helmet 3 times and I love how it feels, just hate the creaking noise when I open it up.

According to the website, the item I ordered was supposed to fit my new motorcycle. It didn't take me more than 10 into the installation to realize that this was incorrect. I called the Cycle Gear retailer near my home and asked if I could return the item to them. They said yes.
Had the people in store add my helmet in store to an online purchase to ship to my home address. Order showed up as soon as I created an account and arrived 2 days later like stated. Good experience overall

I bought a Klim mesh jacket pro. The guys at the store recommend my sizing for me., When it came in, it fit perfect,
I had my own helmet and they ordered a Bluetooth system for me.

Answer: Your local dealership will almost inevitably be superior to CycleGear, in every respect. The reason for that is your local dealership will cease to exist if they don't offer their customers the service, support, and products that they are looking for. You might not find it on the shelf right then, but every dealership has the ability to order in what you want and they will price it fairly, because they know that you can go elsewhere. These internet retailers need to be put out of business, by us. All we have to do is shop locally.
Answer: There's nothing legit about the website. They have stores in many different cities around the US, but their customer service is almost as bad in-store, as it is from their corporate call center and internet department.
