Found what I was looking for with Cycle Gear. Item was out of stock at all my other go to stores.
I didn't like that when using the shop my ride feature, it didn't automatically apply at the top search bar when looking for a product. Instead I had to click shop my ride, wait for it to refresh, and then search using the specific search bar.
Everyone in the store was very helpful in outfitting me with a helmet and other gear! Appreciated the knowledge, helping find the right fit and choosing the best option. Needed to order a couple of items. Received great updates and timely delivery to the store for pick up. Great experience!
I ordered a alpinestars inflatable vest and the 3x was still to small they let me return it with no problem even after I registered the vest in my name. They talked to their district manager who told them that it was ok to do so.
The process was quick and easy, just make sure that whenever I place an order for two items and set it for store pick up just to let me know when my second item arrived because I wasn't notified when my second item was arrived just my first item. Thank you.

I ordered a 3/4 helmet as I am wanting to install a mesh communication system. The helmet came in about 10 days to the store. The store was awesome throughout the entire process. From sizing to ordering and upon delivery everyone was friendly and helpful. They quickly installed the new mesh system and walked me through the setup. Overall, great job from CycleGear!
Online was as easy as in store. Ordered a women's mesh jacket for my wife. Got here quick with no problems.
Brought my wheel/tire into my local cycle gear for them to mount & balance the new tire. Picked it up and noticed when I tried to mount it that a spacer/bearing was missing. I called the shop and they found it. I picked it up and when I tried to mount it that the other side spacer was missing. I called the shop and they said they would look for it and call me back. Two hours later - no call so I drove over and three staff and no customers. One went back to the service area and came back to say it wasn't there. I asked if I could look and walking back to the service area he said there was a part that he found but that it had been there for a long time and it couldn't be my part. We tried the part on my wheel and it fit. The spacer just "miraculously" had the identical dimensions of the OEM part. When I got the wheel mounted I took the bike for a ride. When I got back, I wiped down the wheels and noticed the tire was mounted backwards. I called Cycle Gear customer service and they told me they would have the district manager call me. No call after three days. Each trip was one hour round trip. Should have been two trips but now it's turned into five trips. Worst.Service.Ever.

Tried on a helmet at the store, but wanted a different color so they had to order it. It arrived a couple days later in perfect condition.

First time ordering, site said enture order would ship within 24 hrs, very simple items ordered, for a 2015 Harley Dyna wide glide,:
1) spark plugs
2) front tire
3) rear brake pads
4) front brake pads
--took over a whole week for these 4 common items to ship, not to mention every item came from a different part of the United States, I'm confused as to why that happens cause I'm sure it leads to longer delivery times. Also, one set of brake pads came from New Jersey, went to Indiana, then back to Ohio where it was being delivered.just frustrating when your plans are ruined and you can watch your delivery drag out logistically...

I've always had a wonderful experience at cycle gear. Everyone is extremely knowledgeable and educated. I bought a full set of new gear, and was set up with ONLY the best. No matter what the price. I just wanted safe items. They also pointed me in the direction of well known brands and tested gear. They fitted the current helmet i had, fit tested it, and i realized it was WAY too big. I got a new one from KYT. I have since ordered more gear, and the membership helps with that too since i get cash back. Such a good recommendation since im going to continue to stack up on a lot this year. Even delivery times are faster with the membership. Ordered & received within 2 days. Thank you so much!
The stitch/seem for the gloves went down the middle of my finger (like it was twisted) instead of being on the side.
It was told it would arrive within 3-5 business days and it arrived within 2 and it arrived in perfect consitions
Answer: Your local dealership will almost inevitably be superior to CycleGear, in every respect. The reason for that is your local dealership will cease to exist if they don't offer their customers the service, support, and products that they are looking for. You might not find it on the shelf right then, but every dealership has the ability to order in what you want and they will price it fairly, because they know that you can go elsewhere. These internet retailers need to be put out of business, by us. All we have to do is shop locally.
Answer: There's nothing legit about the website. They have stores in many different cities around the US, but their customer service is almost as bad in-store, as it is from their corporate call center and internet department.
