The on-line shopping experience was very good and intuitive. However, I was supposed to receive an e-mail once my tire was received at the local Cycle Gear shop. I had already been informed on-line that it had been delivered. I waited another day for confirmation of receipt from the shop. I ended up calling to confirm before I brought my wheel in for tire replacement. Upon completion of the replacement, I was told that I would get a phone call—that didn't happen either. I waited for four days and decided to call. Sure enough, it was done a couple days prior.
Quick and painless. From start to finish, service with professional work ethic and execution with attentiveness on a high level to customer service and support.
Service was great. As usual and they did their best to clear up a problem we were having with the Sena 50s purchased from them. Difficulty getting full group patched in on mesh intercom. It's brought my faith in Sena down. Thinking of switching to Cardo.
I ordered a Puig add on spoiler screen, and really needed the Touring screen. Contacted CycleGear and all was taken care of excellent service.

So far all the experiences that I've had with cycle gear has been great. I just got my Cardo and the guy helping me not only installed it but helped me choose the one that fit my needs best.

Everything i have ordered has been exactly what i ordered, ontime or even earlier delivery some times, havent had a single package later than what eta on arrival, very easy to use and understand website. 10/10 recommend!

A size XL might fit perfectly from one manufacturer but be too tight or loose from another, as there are no rigorously set specifications for what a size XL (or any size) should be.
It is for this reason that mail order retailers historically find return rates of 30% or more, as many shoppers purchase two or more of a given item in order to try them on and keep the one that fits.
This is what happened here - I ordered two sizes of helmet and had them delivered tto the store (free shipping) - and when they arrived a few days later went to try them on and keep the one that fit while returning the other. Cycle Gear obviously realizes this state of affairs and has no issue with customers doing it.
In addition, the staff was most helpful and transferred my Sena communicator from my old helmet to the new one while I was in the store - a nice convenience.

I ordered the GIVI Airflow windshield (the two-piece system) for my 2019 Suzuki V-Strom DL1000. When the package arrived, only the lower half was included. Like anyone would be, I was a bit frustrated at first.
But here's where the experience turned around completely.
I called and was immediately connected with a real person—Misty G in tech support—who was fantastic. She understood the issue right away, took ownership of it, and got everything corrected without any hassle. Within just a few days, I had a new shipment with both parts in hand.
And I have to say—the windshield itself is absolutely outstanding. Truly one of the best upgrades I've made.
If you're the kind of person who expects mistakes to never happen, you might be setting yourself up for disappointment anywhere. What matters is accountability and follow-through—and Cycle Gear nailed both.

Nothing big... small replacement parts for a helmet. CG had them in stock at a good price. Shipped & delivered lightening fast.

Jacket is great, size is perfect, material is great, the not so good is no armor at all. At this price it should at least have some kind of a armor come with it. But over all jacket is perfect.
I bought two motorcycle tires from cycle gear online specifically because they install them for half price. The guy at the store refused to install the tire because I wanted it reversed, even though I called to verify they would do it before I ordered the tire. I had to make 3 trips to the store, and had to pay 3x as much to get it installed by another dealer because I didn't buy the tire from them. When I picked the tire up from the idiot at the sanford cycle great who said he couldn't do it, I called daytona amd orlando cycle gear. They both said there was no reason not to install the tire. Despite the guy hearing this from his Co workers, he still refused. It was like he didn't want to admit he was wrong. His ignorance and arrogance coat me a lot of time, money, and aggravation.

Answer: Your local dealership will almost inevitably be superior to CycleGear, in every respect. The reason for that is your local dealership will cease to exist if they don't offer their customers the service, support, and products that they are looking for. You might not find it on the shelf right then, but every dealership has the ability to order in what you want and they will price it fairly, because they know that you can go elsewhere. These internet retailers need to be put out of business, by us. All we have to do is shop locally.
Answer: There's nothing legit about the website. They have stores in many different cities around the US, but their customer service is almost as bad in-store, as it is from their corporate call center and internet department.
