I decided on a Schubert C5. I went into the store in Sandy UT. Huge store. With a fifteen foot high wall of helmets on display. But help was hard to find and when I finally did they knew less about their product than I did. Ended up ordering online.
Products are great and prices are decent. The staff is very friendly. Minimal staff makes shopping difficult.
I've always been pointed in the right direction and satisfied with all of my purchases. They have a great return policy only I've never returned anything I left the store with. The crew at Allison Park are extremely helpful and go out of their way. I travel a lot and I've always been treated right no matter where.
Wish there were better selection of gear for shorter folks. I'm 5'8 180lbs and can't seem to find any rider jeans with a short inseam and the knee pads high enough to actually be used as knee pads.

Processing time took longer than usual, about 4 business days. This met expectation based on the web disclaimer but used to Revzilla processing and shipping next day. Also the packaging used contained what looked like insulation dust which spilled out on the ground upon opening.
Associate at the store place the order for me told me I needed these two to do what I asked him did not look at it. Just let him place it and pay them, but both were the same side. Both were left and I needed a left and the right side. I need help please

Online is strait forward and fast. In store is the same with friendly staff.
Answer: Your local dealership will almost inevitably be superior to CycleGear, in every respect. The reason for that is your local dealership will cease to exist if they don't offer their customers the service, support, and products that they are looking for. You might not find it on the shelf right then, but every dealership has the ability to order in what you want and they will price it fairly, because they know that you can go elsewhere. These internet retailers need to be put out of business, by us. All we have to do is shop locally.
Answer: There's nothing legit about the website. They have stores in many different cities around the US, but their customer service is almost as bad in-store, as it is from their corporate call center and internet department.
