We visited the cycle gear store and it was hard to find the right sizes for the make of helmet since they all vary so greatly by size and style and type. The style and make of the one I wanted was not in stock so ordering was a little of a guess. I hope the one I got will form and fit over time. The customer service rep tried their best to help, but had to guess what I was trying to get from a fit.

Ordered an XL. Went to pick up box was opened and only contained an XS even though the box is labeled XL. Wouldn't surprise me if they sold my helmet out from under me before I picked it up. Then blamed the warehouse for shipping the wrong one.

CG, both the website experience and the staff at my chosen CG Store (Bellevue, WA) has always been great and their personal attention and service have been excellent.
I ordered a helmet, received said helmet. It was supposed to get it in 5 days, but arrived in about 8. I can't really complain though, because I ordered it the Thursday before memorial day.

Items purchased great and one of the lady's had great communication now the tire install was horrible could not complete it and had my tires for 5 days I picked up my tires and one was half way put on and being a regular car installer I noticed absolutely no lube or nothing on tire so explains installer having a hard time I guess. Took my tires else where and were installed in 15 mins tops and I was not only one a few of my soldiers as well waited more than 5 days for tire installation not good
Answer: Your local dealership will almost inevitably be superior to CycleGear, in every respect. The reason for that is your local dealership will cease to exist if they don't offer their customers the service, support, and products that they are looking for. You might not find it on the shelf right then, but every dealership has the ability to order in what you want and they will price it fairly, because they know that you can go elsewhere. These internet retailers need to be put out of business, by us. All we have to do is shop locally.
Answer: There's nothing legit about the website. They have stores in many different cities around the US, but their customer service is almost as bad in-store, as it is from their corporate call center and internet department.
