I purchase the Diablo Rosso online and had it delivered to my local Cycle Gear for mounting. While there they were able to help my son pick out a set of tires for his bike also. I've always had great interactions with all the staff at Cycle Gear. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for motorcycle gear and accessories.

Well... I'm definitely getting to the "shake my hands at things" part of my life. I went shopping at the Gear store, but needed to have it delivered, which is never my preference, but surely beats not getting it at all. Fortunately, it was a straight-over exchange from one helmet to another of the same type. Only change was the headset I got along for the ride.
But I had to do the headset installation *myself*! NO STARS except for the ones I put down above. It all worked out.
Everything was great except for the kid that mounted my tires done the most unprofessional job I've ever seen double stack big weights on the side of the rim partially stuck to the tire itself the weight never seen anything like this and dangerous to boot
I paid overnight to get front brakes when I needed them. Received on time. I do wish, however, that the online stock for the local store (Wichita) was accurate. I didn't order my chain or back brakes because I could pick up in store. I had to call to confirm they were on hold and they didn't have them in stock.ended up requiring me to drive 5 hours round trip to a different store to buy those items and I could of saved the $35 overnight fee or could of had everything shipped together saving me the time and gas. Lesson learned.

Answer: Your local dealership will almost inevitably be superior to CycleGear, in every respect. The reason for that is your local dealership will cease to exist if they don't offer their customers the service, support, and products that they are looking for. You might not find it on the shelf right then, but every dealership has the ability to order in what you want and they will price it fairly, because they know that you can go elsewhere. These internet retailers need to be put out of business, by us. All we have to do is shop locally.
Answer: There's nothing legit about the website. They have stores in many different cities around the US, but their customer service is almost as bad in-store, as it is from their corporate call center and internet department.
