I was about to place an order just by navigating web site (which is easy) and had a question. I called the number on the web page, to my surprise on Saturday evening I got representative in less than a minute. Not only did Jill answer my question, she took the time to go over all items that I would need and the quality of items in my cart. She never tried to up sale, as a matter of fact one os the speaker set I had picked had lower reviews than a lesser priced item she suggested. Jill spent an hour on the phone with me to make sure all items were correct for my needs. Long story short, I never had such a GREAT sounding system... THANK YOU JILL... ;)

Great speakers

Bought some Quad s-2 speakers. They arrived on time and were well packed. I had no problem with setting them up and they sound great in my small room. Crutchfield did a great job with this item as far as I'm concerned.

Bought a cheapish car stereo and installation kit from Crutchfield. If you buy the stuff from them, they give you detailed installation kits which turned out to be a lifesaver for me. I couldn't find good information for my 2010 Outback anywhere else online.
They also offer phone support for installations which I ended up using. I had trouble driving the OEM amp in the car, and their advice was detailed and spot on for my particular make/model and options.
I would be willing to pay more because of the extra services they offer, but their prices are comparable with anyone else, so this is definitely the guys to go to.

I've been ordering car audio from Crutchfield since before the days of internet sales and I have never been disappointed. Shipping is always fast, they always include everything you need for the installation, including detailed instructions for your specific vehicle, and customer support is top notch when you need them. I won't shop anywhere else.

Birthday gift

My wife is a successful mystery writer with a new first-tier publisher. Her success requires her to travel often. I wanted something practical and useful for these trips. The Bose wireless headphone allow her to work while on the road. They block out distractions and provide an environment where she can focus.

There are so many options when it comes to auto infotainment. There are so many harnesses, adapters, trim kits, and audio options available. Crutchfield looked at my questions carefully and thoughtfully, provided links in each of their answers, and then created a shopping cart with everything I needed. So much can be learned from their customer service. I just finished the installation in my Cayenne and created a custom splash screen so it looks OEM whenever I start the car. Thanks Crutchfield!

Radio with Infinity system
September 18, 2019

I replaced the factory radio in a 98 Sebring. The car has an Infinity amplifier. The radio works great with the amplifier. Using the Crutchfield adapter plate and wiring plugs made the installation easy.

Previously happy customer

A good deal of my order for my new system involves parts that were not necessary. I found the sales advisor and not very knowledgeable about the stereo itself nor my set up. Like how to play video on my iPhone. And then I just found it online on YouTube. Or the instruction manual which is pretty useless from Kenwood. If the instruction manuals are useless that I expect their sales reps to know it all. My sales rep knew nothing about how to get video on my Kenwood stereo unit. I previously bought a stereo 2014 with the same car that I was fitting this time the new unit. The new Kenwood simply would plug and play into my old systems configuration. The sales rep recommended all sorts of new things including the XM tuner a new interface for my steering wheel and even a new face plate. All were not required. I appreciate getting customer service people on the phone and that's where Crossfield has it hands-down well. But I do think in this instance my sales rep really just didn't know details about this unit nor my car

Crutchfield is one of the best companies that I have ever done business with. I was a car stereo installer back in the early 80's. Things have changed so much since then. Without Crutchfield's expertise you could not undertake a stereo installation today. It's not just connecting power and ground and 4 speakers anymore. Today's cars are way more sophisticated than that. I installed a new head unit in my older 2007 Lexus RX350 only to discover that the factory radio was way more sophisticated than I ever imagined. The car had an existing amp which was all digital from the head unit to the amp. The solution that Crutchfield had was not too complicated to figure out and it worked flawlessly. My new Kenwood DNX696 worked incredible right down to my steering wheel controls. I had to call Jeff at Crutchfield to get the location and color of the reverse light wire and the parking brake wire. You must tap into those 2 circuits to enable reverse camera and DVD playback. I tried for hours to find this information on the internet to no avail. Jeff gave me the 2 color possibility's and my issue was solved in 30 minutes. I have used Crutchfield many times in the past and will continue to use them when my new Lexus 450h s radio goes bad. Great customer service and support you can't ask for more.

HORRIBLE

2 DAY SHIPPING AND PACKAGE WAS NOT RECEIVED. I HAD TO CALL TO FIND OU THAT THEIR WAS A LABEL ISSUE WITH MY PACKAGE AND IT WAS RETURNED TO CRUTCHFIELD. NO NOTIFICATION FROM ANYONE AT CRUTCHFIELD CONCERNING THIS ISSUE.
