I picked up my Crestliner pontoon boat used about five years ago from a marina sale in Wisconsin. Needed some work when I got it but the bones were solid and the price was right. I've since replaced the carpet, redone the railing, put new gauges in the console, and had the motor rebuilt. Basically everything except the pontoons themselves. People at the dock think its newer than it is which I take as a compliment to the work.

The reason I went with the ShoreFit 1200 HD is because we trailer the boat back and forth to the lake every other weekend from about April to October. Our lake spot is roughly an hour and fifteen minutes from the house, and it's almost all highway. My previous cover would start loosening up around mile thirty no matter how tight I strapped it. I'd pull over, retighten everything, get back on the road, and by the time I got to the lake it looked like the cover was trying to escape again. One time a corner came loose on I-94 and was flapping so hard the fabric tore and scraped along the deck. Left a mark on my brand new carpet that I am still annoyed about.

The 1200 HD stays put. Period. The integrated strap system with the quick release buckles is a game changer for trailering. I cinch everything down before I leave and it looks exactly the same when I arrive. I went with the grey color which matches the trailer and I think the whole setup looks pretty sharp rolling down the highway. My wife takes photos of it in the driveway and posts them on Facebook which is either flattering or embarrassing depending on how you look at it.

Thank you, William! Five years of work into that Crestliner and people at the dock think it's newer than it is. That says it all. A cover flapping loose on I-94 and tearing brand new carpet is a painful lesson, and we're glad the 1200 HD put an end to that. Cinch it down and arrive with it exactly where you left it. As for your wife posting photos on Facebook, we'll take it as a compliment!

My R1T lives in the driveway and I'll admit I'm pretty particular about it... probably too particular. After I check sports scores, I check the weather app before bed and if there's rain coming I would go out and move it under the carport where my wife usually parks, which meant moving her somewhat new car. She put up with that routine for about three months before telling me to just buy a cover and stop rearranging the driveway at 10pm. Fair point.

The Platinum fabric has made me a much easier person to live with apparently. We had a week straight of storms in early March and I left the cover on the entire time, pulling it off once to run errands. It's completely dry underneath every time and the inner lining feels so great. There's not even moisture around the charge port area, which was my biggest concern since the R1T has that front trunk storage which is where I keep my camera gear. The fleece lining is gentle on the Rivian's Blue paint which scratches if you look at it wrong. I spent fourteen hundred dollars on a ceramic coating last year and the cover is basically insurance on that investment. My detailer said the coating is holding up better than most of his clients at the three month mark and he thinks the cover could be the secret sauce. The elastic hems fit well around the front and rear even with the R1T's unique shape. No complaints from me or my wife, which is the more important metric.

Thank you, Donny! Rearranging the driveway at 10pm before a storm is a perfectly reasonable system until your wife puts an end to it. A week of storms, completely dry underneath every time, no moisture near the charge port, and your detailer calling the cover the secret sauce on a $1,400 ceramic coating. Hard to argue with that. No complaints from you or your wife is the best possible outcome!

Pecan Trees vs. Platinum Cover
March 27, 2026

We use our Promaster as a mobile workshop for our locksmith business and we park it at the house every night. The beautiful neighborhood we moved into last year has these massive pecan trees all along the street and nuts drop from the constantly until late November. I came out one morning and found a small dent the roof from one and that was honestly enough for me. I wasn't going to let another oversized pecan ruin my day.

I decided to go with the WeatherFit Platinum fabric because it has 7 layers... if it can protect from hail then I knew it would also for pecans for hell. I've used the cover for a while now and not a single new mark on my mobile workshop's roof. I will say folding it back up neatly is something I've given up on. I just bunch it up and put it in the cargo area behind the tool shelves. It's not elegant but it's functional.

Thank you, Lola! A pecan dent on the roof is a uniquely Texas problem and the Platinum fabric is more than up to the challenge. Seven layers built for hail will handle a pecan tree no problem.

I have a small landscaping business and my Sierra truck is how I make a living. It sits out by my shop most days and I was noticing a ton of gravel dust, pollen, and bird poop all over my truck at the end of each day. I meet with clients regularly so this was causing me to wash it every few days to keep everything looking fresh and professional. I finally got tired of that and decided to do something about it.

A member of my crew said that he had a cover on his personal truck which saved him a lot of time with keeping it clean. After some research, I chose the Platinum fabric because I figured if I'm going to do it, I might as well get the one that's "Heavy Duty". I'm happy I bought the 7 layer option because about three weeks after I got it, a freak hail storm swept through Ohio and caused all kinds of issues. I was nervous to check my truck after the storm passed, but there no scratches or dents at all. My foreman left his truck parked twenty feet away uncovered and his truck had a few small dents on the hood. It's funny b/c he placed an order the next day with my referral code, which got him 20% off!

However, covering a 3500 HD dually DOES require some effort and a little bit of creativity. The cover for this is not lightweight and is designed to fit a big vehicle. I've been starting at the cab roof and pulling it out to either end as it seems to be the most efficient way. A while back, my wife tried to help me out with putting the cover on. She said it felt like we were putting a fitted sheet on a California king mattress. That is a comparison that's pretty accurate.

Thank you, Benjamin! Gravel dust, pollen, and bird droppings every day is a tough look for client meetings, and it sounds like the Platinum put an end to the constant washing. The hail story says it all. Your foreman's hood versus your untouched truck, and he ordered the next day. That is the best possible product demonstration. Your wife's fitted sheet on a California king comparison is honestly one of the most accurate cover descriptions we've ever heard. We appreciate the referral too!

My experience with this purchase was a weird one. I thought I needed a heavy weather cover for my brand new C-Class, so I ordered the WeatherFit Platinum. It was a good amount of cover for what I bought it for, but it doesn't rain a while lot in Scottsdale so I thought a lighter cover better suited for the sun would work better.

I called the customer service number expecting the "runaround" on returns. The woman I spoke with, Summer, was very easy to talk to and helpful. She didn't try to talk me into keeping the WeatherFit Gold. She quickly suggested the Solar-X fabric once I explained my situation referring to the Solar-X fabric being specially designed for UV protection and a popular choice for folks living in Arizona. She walked me through the returns process which was quick and painless (what a relief). All I had to do was pack the original cover back in its bag and dropped it off at The UPS Store on my lunch break. There was no out-of-pocket return shipping from me. I had my refund in a few days and ordered the WeatherFit Solar-X the same day.

Thank you, Stacy! The Solar-X is absolutely the right call for Scottsdale. Heavy weather protection is great but when the sun is your main enemy, UV-specific fabric wins. Glad Summer was able to point you in the right direction and make the exchange easy. Enjoy the new cover!

This Cover Saved My Q8's Paint
March 27, 2026

Living in a townhouse in California with no garage, we have our Audi Q8 parked in the driveway right below the neighbor's pine tree which drops sap on everything. I wanted something soft due to the Mythos Black paint showing all the imperfections and decided to get the WeatherFit Platinum. My detailer advised me that a good cover would save me on paint correction visits.

The Q8 is a large and heavy SUV, so I needed several tries to get it on. However, when a storm caused garbage cans to tip over one after another along the street, the grommets proved effective and the cover stayed PUT. The very next day my neighbor came to me asking what brand cover it was because his car was filthy with leaves. I gave him the link to coveranything.com and he ordered one that day.

Thank you, Ambrose! Mythos Black on a Q8 parked under a pine tree is a recipe for constant paint correction visits, and the Platinum fleece lining is exactly what that paint needs. Glad the cover held through the storm and kept everything clean underneath. Your neighbor ordering the next day is the kind of endorsement that speaks for itself. We appreciate the referral!

I've had my Skeeter for going on twenty years now and she's been through a lot of covers. The last one was some bargain brand I grabbed at a sporting goods store and it lasted maybe two seasons before the seams started coming apart. Water would pool up on top and I'd come out to the dock to find it sagging in the middle like a hammock. I finally decided to stop being cheap about it.

The 1200 HD fabric is a completely different animal. The fabric feels like it could stop a bullet, which is maybe overkill for a bass boat. I've got it on the trailer at the house most of the week and then take it out to Caesar Creek Lake on weekends during the season. The integrated strap system makes trailering a non issue. I used to have to stop twice on the highway to retighten my old cover and it still looked like a parachute by the time I got to the ramp. This one stays locked down at 65 mph, no flapping, no shifting. First time I trailered with it I kept checking my mirror expecting to see it coming loose and it never budged.

The 1200 denier material has handled some serious thunderstorms this spring without letting any water through. I bought two support poles to keep the cover from pooling in the middle and that's made a big difference. My old cover turned into a birdbath every time it rained. Now the water just runs right off. I went with the charcoal color which looks sharp against the white hull, and my wife pointed out that I now coordinate my boat cover with my truck. I told her it was unintentional but between us it was absolutely on purpose.

The shock cord around the bottom grabs the hull tight and the whole thing goes on in a few minutes even by myself. For a boat this old the cover probably costs more than the trade in value, but I'm not trading her in so that's a meaningless number. Twelve year warranty on top of everything else. I should have bought this years ago instead of going through three cheap covers first.

Thank you, Marlon! Twenty years with a Skeeter and you finally gave her the cover she deserves. The sagging hammock full of rainwater is a universal cheap cover experience and the 1200 HD is a completely different league. Stays locked down at 65mph, sheds water instead of collecting it, and looks sharp in charcoal against a white hull. We won't tell anyone the color coordination was intentional. The twelve year warranty means you're done shopping for covers too. We appreciate you sharing!

First off you must ignore reviews on their website. As I have learned you must leave a review PRIOR to checking out or you are banned from leaving one after you receive your item. So basically they can block most negative reviews.

I purchased their most expensive boat cover that they claimed would fit my boat, in February of 2026. When it arrived it was way too large for my boat and could not be made to fit snug with several feet of extra material on all sides. I attempted to call them but you quickly find out they will only accept calls to purchase items, issues and returns are by email ONLY. I tried emailing and after 2 weeks of no response I began calling the sales associates and I guess I bothered them enough for their return folks to send a response. They informed me since I installed the cover it was now used and I could no longer return it. They informed me if I tried disputing it on my credit card they were confident enough in their fine print that I would lose the claim but they did let me know that even though this was all somehow my fault they would go ahead and sell me a cover that might be the right size for my boat for 50% off even though they claim to have a 30 day guaranteed fit.

So basically if you purchase a cover from them they can send you anything they want and there is nothing you can do about it, your out hundreds of dollars. It truly is a scam. If you are still tempted to buy from them because of all of their 5 star reviews on their site at least switch the reviews from pre purchase to post purchase only and you will see just how bad they are. Unfortunately most of us suckers are banned from leaving them reviews so I will try and save people elsewhere.

Hi there,

Thank you for sharing your experience, and we're sorry to hear you're unhappy with your purchase. We take customer satisfaction seriously and would like to address a few points.

Our records indicate that the cover was used outdoors in wet conditions prior to a return request being made. Unfortunately, once a cover has been exposed to the elements, we are unable to accept it as a return — this policy exists so that every customer receives a brand-new, unused product. We always encourage customers to do a dry fit first, and if the sizing isn't right, to contact us right away so we can resolve it quickly.

Regarding communication, our email team responds within 8 hours, and our phone lines are staffed Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM CST — not just for sales, but for any questions or concerns. We're sorry if there was a miscommunication there.

We understand this is frustrating, and we genuinely want to help. Please don't hesitate to reach out to us so we can look into your order and discuss options.

I ordered a car cover from Coveranything, expecting 3-day delivery, but it arrived two weeks late and was delivered to the wrong address. I no longer needed it and returned the unused item, but was charged over $60 in fees. The company blamed FedEx and cited their return policy, offering discounts instead of taking responsibility. Next time, I'll use Amazon.

Hi Joe,

Thank you for sharing your experience, and we're sorry for the frustration with your order.

We'd like to provide some important context. Your order was placed during a historic snowstorm that shut down FedEx operations in our warehouse region, which caused the delivery delay. The misdelivery to a wrong address was also a FedEx carrier issue. We completely understand how frustrating both of those things are, and we apologize for the inconvenience.

Regarding the return fees — we want to be very clear about how our return policy works, because we think this is important for anyone reading: If a cover doesn't fit properly, or arrives damaged, we issue a full refund. No restocking fee. No return shipping charge. Period.

Restocking and return shipping fees only apply when a cover is returned because a customer changed their mind. In your case, the cover itself was not defective or the wrong fit — it was no longer needed due to the delivery delay. That's why the standard return fees applied.

That said, we understand the circumstances around your order were unusual and out of everyone's control. We'd like to offer you a store credit as a gesture of goodwill. Please reach out to us at so we can get that taken care of.

We appreciate your business, Joe, and hope we get the chance to serve you again.

Boat cover
November 19, 2025

I ordered a cover for my boat. The site lists my boat by name and year saying it has a cover for my boat. Cover was delivered in a timely manner, but when put on my boat it was over 3 feet too long. Under their no hassle return policy, I elected to return the cover as it is late in season (November) and it would take too long with exchanges to get a good fit. It doesn't appear that they have actual covers for a specific boat, but they have covers that may come close. I was charged a 20% restock fee for aa cover that was ordered correctly and shipped in a size that could not be used. You are going to pay a restock fee even though the mistake is theirs. In my case $50.00. There is no one to talk to, as all their problems are e mail only. So, I can say product is good, service is lousy and support is non existent. There will be no recommendations for this company other than to avoid them at all costs.

Hi Dave,

Thank you for your feedback, and we sincerely apologize that the cover you received didn't fit your boat properly. That's on us, and we want to make it right.

To be clear — when a cover doesn't fit, that is a fit issue, and our policy is straightforward: we exchange it for the correct cover at no charge. No restocking fee. No return shipping fee. A restocking fee should never have been applied in your case, and we're sorry that it was.

We also want to address the concern about support. Our phone lines are staffed Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM CST, and our team is available to help with any issue — not just purchases. Our email team also responds within 8 hours. We're sorry if that wasn't your experience, and we'd like the chance to do better.

Dave, we'd like to get this resolved for you. Please reach out to us. We'll get the right cover to you. Mistakes happen, and when they do, we stand behind our products.

It started out with. 10 year warranty. Thats a lie. Number two i bought a platinum Harley Davidson cover on their website and the website stated free 3 day shipping. Thats was the second lie. Third lie was i called customer service two times and was told that they were very busy and i could expect a call back within the next hour. Not once but twice. I never received a call back. If you check most reviews about coveranything. Com you will find mostly poor reviews. The reviews on their website are fake. Good luck

Hi Wayne,

Thank you for your feedback. We're sorry your experience with us was frustrating, and we'd like to address your concerns.

First, regarding the callbacks — you're right, and we apologize. If you were promised a callback and didn't receive one, that's unacceptable. That is not the standard of service we hold ourselves to, and we take that seriously.

We do want to clarify a couple of things for anyone reading. Our Platinum covers do come with a 10-year warranty, and that is a real, honored warranty — not a marketing gimmick. We also do offer free 3-day shipping on this product. We're not able to verify the specifics of your delivery timeline right now, but if your order arrived late, we'd like to look into what happened.

Wayne, it sounds like we let you down on the communication side, and we'd genuinely like the chance to make that right. Our phone lines are staffed Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM CST, and our email team responds within 8 hours. Please reach out to us and reference this review — we'll make sure you get the attention you deserve.

Do NOT Buy!
July 3, 2025

I purchased a Weather-Fit Solar-X cover for my car in late March for the upcoming summer. I live in SC and the sun can be scorching. My last cover (from a different company and only $70) lasted two summers. I thought I would give Cover Anything a shot. After all… this cover had a five year warranty. What could go wrong? This one cost $124.50. I'm retired and only use this car twice a week on average. So I have to uncover/cover it up each time. They sell a hold down clip kit (for an extra $14.50) that I purchased. When I went to put the cover on for the first time in mid June, I noticed right away that it was really THIN. I saw the potential of the clips possibly tearing through the cover after multiple uses, so I opted to use a 5 foot bungee cord that ran under the car. It only had to stretch an extra 6 inches, and most bungee cords stretch up to 50 percent of their relaxed length. My point is that it was not tight at all. This cover comes with a grommet on the bottom of each side of the cover. (See my pic). The grommet came right out of the cover. You can see the round hole where it used to be. I tried using the cover with no hold down, but on a windy day it balloons up and off. You do need a hold down kit. I only had the cover off/on again 5-6 times before it tore! I contacted CA, and because I had used the bungee cord I was told they could not help. All they could do is give me 20% off a new cover. When I asked them what the grommets were for, if not to use them to secure the cover, they upped it to 50%. Like other people have said… what good is a discount off of a product that is faulty? Is this a "Get one useless cover and buy a second one for half off" promotion? Three problems (four if you want to include they are way overpriced). 1- Cheaply made in China. 2- The area where the grommets are is NOT reinforced. No wonder it tore. 3- There are no pockets for your side view mirrors. The cover just stretches over them. It's tight. An almost sure fire guarantee that that's where the first tear will be… unless you use the grommets. For the record… I used 3-4 layers of Gorilla tape and created my own reinforced area. As of this writing it's still holding. The warranty is a joke. I would not recommend this product/company.

Hi there,

Thank you for the detailed feedback, and we're sorry for the frustration you've experienced. We'd like to address your concerns and provide some clarification.

First, regarding the grommets — we understand the confusion, but the grommets on our covers are designed specifically for use with the lock and cable kit, which serves as a theft deterrent. They are not intended to be used as anchor points for securing the cover against wind with bungee cords or similar hold-down methods. A bungee cord pulling against the grommet creates sustained tension that the grommet area was never designed to withstand, which is unfortunately what caused the tearing.

Our hold-down clip kit is designed separately for wind protection, and it secures the cover without putting stress on the grommets. We understand it may not have been clear how these two accessories serve different purposes, and that's feedback we take to heart.

We also want to note that the Weather-Fit Solar-X is not advertised with mirror pockets, and our website photos show the cover without them. That said, we understand expectations can vary, and we appreciate you sharing that feedback.

We're sorry this wasn't a better experience. We'd like to offer you a 50% discounted replacement cover so you can start fresh with the right setup. Please reach out to us so we can take care of that for you.

We're sorry about your experience. Four covers failing within a year is VERY unusual and something we take seriously.

We want to clarify that the 65% off was your prorated warranty credit, not a standard discount. Our warranty is prorated based on the age of the cover. We understand that distinction wasn't clear, and we apologize for the confusion.

No Real Warranty- Poor Material
August 7, 2024

I purchased suppose to be Platinum Car Cover which has a 10 year warranty in May 2023. One year later the fabric disentigrated to the point if you touch it, the material falls apart in your hands. After filling out a warranty claim they are offering me a discount on purchasing a new one. I had to ask them why on earth would i pay for another one of your company garbage when you are advertising 10 year warranty when in reality it only last one year and then i have to pay out of pocket for another one. I will take the loss and buy from another company. Word of advise to all. Thier product does not stand up to their claim.

Hi there,

We're sorry about your experience. A Platinum cover breaking down after one year is not normal, and we understand your frustration.

We want to clarify that the discount you were offered was your prorated warranty credit — not a sales promotion. Our 10-year warranty is prorated, so the credit applied toward a replacement is based on how much warranty life remains. At one year, that credit should be substantial. We apologize that this wasn't explained clearly.

Given how quickly the cover deteriorated, we'd like to look into your case further. Please contact us at [email protected] and reference this review so we can review your claim and make sure it's handled properly.

Sincerely,
Josh S.

I am a long time customer and have bought countless covers. I had a warranty issue, the wholes are way too big and the grommets are sliding right through. Never like this in the several others I had purchased. Coveranything has refused to replace with a proper one and make things right, even though I am a long time customer. Horrible customer service. Buyer beware!

Poor quality
April 17, 2024

We had the cover 1 month it had already ripped in two places. We reach out to get it replaced and they rejected it even with a ten year warranty. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM

Hi Kayla,

We're sorry about your experience. A cover ripping within the first month should absolutely be covered under warranty, and your claim should not have been rejected. That was our mistake.

We'd like to make this right. Please email us at [email protected] and reference this review so we can get your warranty honored.

Sincerely,

Wellcraft Boat Cover
January 20, 2024

Boat Cover did not fit below bump Rails (ie. Gunnies), covering just the top portion of the boat. Cover Plastic Vinyl Composite was very Thin, Almost the cheapest material I've ever seen. They charged us a Restock fee, as we returned it in the same packaging as we received, after only fitting it to the boat for 15m.s. Also had to repay customs at the Canadian border. Bought another cover from Washington St. W/Support pole free. Much Higher Quality and Great Fit. This a Cheap Chinese Massed Produced Product. Not Impressed. Don't be fooled by the cheap Cost or the Return Guarantee. Don't waste your money

Hi Scott,

We're sorry to hear about your experience.

We want to be transparent about the restocking fee. The cover was returned with dirt and oil on it, which meant we couldn't resell it as a new product. That's why the fee was applied. Our return policy requires items to come back in clean, unused condition.

That said, if the cover genuinely didn't fit your boat, we want you to know that fit issues are handled differently — we exchange for the correct size at no charge, no restocking fee. We wish we'd had the chance to work through that with you before the return.

We understand the added frustration of customs fees on Canadian orders, and we're sorry for that inconvenience.

If you'd like us to take another look at your case, please email [email protected] and reference this review.

Sincerely,
Josh S.
