This business is completely fraudulent. I ordered a size PM, but they sent me XL. I called them immediately and told them they shipped the wrong size, and I returned the item right away.

The first time I called customer service, the agent promised a full refund. I waited two weeks, and nothing happened—no refund at all.

I called again, explained that I had already returned the item and that the mistake was their fault. A woman with an Indian accent answered and again guaranteed a full refund. But they only refunded one-third of my money, and nothing more.

I called a third time, spoke to yet another representative, and she confirmed the warehouse had received my return. She also promised the remaining refund. But after another two weeks, I still received nothing.

A business should be honest. They shipped the wrong size, kept the item I returned, and still refused to refund my full payment. This is deceptive behavior, and people should be warned.

They charged me 15% on the return plus a $9.95 processing fee. Then the amount I was credited was different from the credit amount I was told I would receive. Terrible business practices, I will never buy from them again and neither should you!

Very disappointed

I have been a customer of Coldwater Creek for years. Never had a problem with returning items. I guess they have changed. I went on line and tried to do what they said never got a way or returning. So I went to the catalog and found an address and verified it over the internet Coldwater Creek site to make sure. Sent items back. Then today I received it all back with the package saying return to sender. VERY POOR! So I guess so I don't waste any more money on a company that is not trustworthy. I will give them to Goodwell and never purchase from them again.

After numerous attempts to receive follow through with customer service, I am done with this online retailer. Their returns process is cumbersome & irritating to say the least. Why should I have to chase down, repeatedly, returns & credit owed on my account? Unlike any other on-line retailer! Bye bye…

Never Again

Between return the shipping fee and the " taxes, adjustments, and processing fees" I paid $22 to return one item that cost $79.99. Called customer service and there was no way out for these ridiculous fees. I will never shop here again!

Nowhere in their review policy does it mention subtracting "taxes, adjustments, and processing fees" when you make a return. Today I returned $259.80 of merchandise. Processing fee was $9.95. Taxes and adjustments were $43.19. I only got $206.66 back. Never again will I shop there. :(

I paid $14.99 for three day shipping. They only sent half the order on time. The other came 4 days later. States on the website it typically takes 3 business days. When I complained they said it's only from when it leaves the warehouse. Bunch of a-holes and I won't order from them again.

I ordered two pairs of the same shoes at the end of October last year along with some clothing. The clothing arrived after a few weeks, but the shoes didn't and showed a 1/1/25 ship date, which was news to me. As of today, the ship date is 3/21 and I have never been contacted by the company with an update. I did cancel the order after they lied and said the shipment was going out in a couple of days...three weeks ago.

Buyer Beware!

On Feb. 9,2025, I ordered a dress for a Florida wedding. After waiting to get it I went online to track it and it was listed as "awaiting fulfillment". I sent an email to customer service (took a week before a response),and was told it was on backorder to be mailed on Feb 24th. Several emails and two phone calls later it's March 9th and I have still not rec'd the dress. I called them one more time and told them to cancel my order unless they could ship it overnight. I was told it couldn't be canceled because it is now processing. On the website it still says awaiting fulfillment. So, apparently I will get the dress too late for the wedding and I'll have to pay for return shipping. I will NEVER buy from this company again!

Customer service is terrible. I returned an item Jan. 22,2025 and I am still waiting for a refund as of Feb. 15,2025. I used their online customer service form which was a waste of my time. - no response. I called them on Feb 3rd and was told I would see my refund in 3 to 5 days which was not true. Coldwater Creek no more.

Refunds are difficult

They will fight you ever step of the way in regards to a refund. Took me three phone calls over five weeks to get refund. Will NEVER buy from them again.

Major Disappointment!

Finally received an $80 sweater that was on backorder for 3-4 months. Ordered a L, the sizing is way off... more like an XXL. No going to bother returning cause CWC gouges customers with extra charges... really hope this beautiful sweater shrinks!

Ordered a Sweater on November 4,2024, the items was in stock at the time, sent 2 emails and got no response, finally called today, the order is back ordered and will not arrive until February of 2025, Well, I won't need a sweater in February, I wanted it for a special occasion and that has come and gone. Absolutely zero correspondence. Horrible customer service.

Have bought from Coldwater Creek for over a decade, always assured that what I ordered fit well, and was of excellent quality. But my last two orders, I see slippage in quality, and in sizing. I ordered a pair of jeans in size 16P. I must have 15 other pairs of pants and jeans from Coldwater Creek in that size that I wear all the time. Well, when I got the jeans, they were so small I could not even begin to try on. I also ordered a dress, and that was way too small as well. So very sad that a company that I could always trust for fit and quality has gone downhill. I called customer service, and asked if there had been a change in their sizing measurements. The lady I spoke to (who barely spoke English) had no idea, nor any contact she could provide who would know. I know they went Chapter 11 in 2020, and then started back up again, and seemed fine. But they were actually bought out by a company. In September 2020, Coldwater Creek's inventory and intellectual property assets were acquired in a $12.2 million deal with Hong Kong procurement company Newtimes Group. Coldwater Creek's new website went live on December 12,2020, and Newtimes plans to relaunch its catalog, as well.

I love their clothing, however their $17.95 shipping fee is ridiculous and then heaven forbid you need to send something back, you pay $9.85. I have rarely ordered online from any company that charges a shipping fee. It's outrageous that a company with this quality and high priced clothing charges such a high fee. I will never order from there agat

Assuming this is a US based company and item advertised is in stock, or you should not indicate it's currently available is the first issue. When checking status it will tell you AWAITING PAYMENT, when in fact you've given authorization, so that is bogus. Then everytime you call they keep extending expected shipping date. I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM COLDWATER CREEK, EVER AGAIN. People... beware!

Practice what you preach!

I am a customer and have been for years. I recently found a gift card for the store for $175. Coldwater Creek not only won't accept it because they are under new ownership. They never bothered to send out a memo/email saying that they were no longer going to accept gift cards, and give their customers an opportunity to use them up. Not only is this wrong and unlawful, it is actual theft. Gift cards are basically money. I have had numerous emails with their customer service department. At no time did they try to rectify the issue or offer an added discount to smooth over the fact that I'm out $175. However, they continue to refer to me as a "valued customer". I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and while I was filing my complaint, I saw that there is quite a catalog of complaints regarding Coldwater Creek Customer Service. I am very unhappy with their business practices, and surprised that they are still in business.
Before you make a purchase with Coldwater Creek, I would think twice….it appears that there are many customers, unhappy with how they deal with issues of return, exchanges, as well as complaints.

If I could rate as a zero, I would. The order arrived damaged. Coldwater Creek KNEW it was damaged, because someone tied a knot in the broken string. I sent an email, with a picture, as well as a separate message, asking for the item to be replaced immediately because I had ordered if for a trip and needed it. No response, not even an acknowledgement. I called. I explained the problem. And was told to return the item using the process on the website. I objected to paying the return shipping fee for something that arrived damaged. This became a point of discussion. I asked for a supervisor. But I was told no-one was available. They finally offered to give me a code so that I would not have to pay for return shipping. I again asked to speak to a supervisor. Then I was told that "because I have already resolved the problem, I cannot escalate it to a higher level". I will never order anything from Coldwater Creek again. I will never buy a product from Coldwater Creek again. NOT because the article arrived damaged, but because of the way that they handled the problem.

I would them no stars if I could. I returned gifted items to be exchanged and items are still in stock. Could have placed an order for them today. The return form was clearly marked on both sides that it was an exchange but instead refunded the money and anything refunded goes back to the original form of payment. Customer service told me I could call gifter and let them reorder for me. What a terrible company policy - there are no gifts cards or credits. Only exchange and refund. I would have loved to try the clothing that should have been exchanged. Don't do business with this company.
