Stay away, do not book with these guys they are the worst booking agency. I changed my flight on the way to San Diego and they sent me the email telling me to say I agree so I did come to find out they sent me another email 30 min after that they had changed my return flight for a month after I was suppose to come back. I told them I said nothing about changing my return flight, they said I did and if I wanted to change it back to the original time and date I would have to pay the difference of $120. Not only did they not give me a full credit that made me pay almost for. Whole other ticket. Please safe your money and go else we're I'm sure anywhere I'd better then these guys. I will be filing with the bbb these people need to be investigated on this great scamming operation they have going on.

The customer service is disappointing, the unprofessional service render to paying customers is unacceptable and should be looked into on a serious note. Too many complaints and yet this business continues to operate with unsuitable service. Misleading refund policy and delays in refunds as well as not all options being provided to the customers when requesting changes/refunds. Customers are led to believe they can't make changes when in fact they can during the allowed timeframes and are forced to send something in writing stating they agree when in fact they don't and are being bullied by the agents!

Do not get involved with CheapFareGuru! Don't give your information to them! Do not even talk to them because they will charge you for that! I just got scammed! And need to cancel my card and wasted my whole morning and left me worried that they will charge my credit card somehow!

Misleading policy about extra Charges if airlines change anything (including when flight would leave), the changes were not initiated by me so why they charge. The extra fees could be unlimited if that is the case and any changes initiated by airline causes them to charge you extra. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, they should be put out of business. Lied to on multiple calls to customer service.

Trying to charge me $10.00 because the airline changed the time of my flight departure. The airline changed it not me. So charge the airline. People like this should not be allowed to do business.

I spent three and a half hours on the phone with cheapfare guru amd american airline after cancelling my flight, having proof of a "refund" that was sent straight back to the third party cheapfare guru. They said they could not refund my money even though I have insurance through travelex. They can only give me a travel voucher which I have never recieved.

I tried to make a change to my flight because of family sickness and could not get anywhere with their customer service, Every time I explained that I needed to change my flight they transferred my call or hung up When I got someone to talk to and asked for his name they hung up, Extremely poor service, lost my money and would never deal with this site again. It should be shut down for fraud! I booked a southwest flight and they said they couldn't refund my money since I booked it with Chear Air Guru, Southwest told me it sounded like a scam and apologized for not being able to help. I will only go through Southwest directly from now on! Don't use them!

Unfortunately, I did not see other reviews before I purchased tickets to India through the Cheap Guru guys. Due to corona virus, I had to defer my tickets two times and it cost me more than double my regular ticket price. They had hidden fees which is not disclosed upfront. They charged each time a service fee of $75. Two times the change was made by Air India on their own and still the Cheap Guru charged me $75 each time. The two deferrals costed me more than the actuals I ended up paying in all $1900 instead a of regular fare of $900 for a trip to India. Air India was contacted by me to find what exactly was fare on the tickets, but they never gave me any specific reply. Several calls ended up wasting lot of money on international calling, but without fruits. God forbid, I would never ever use the Cheap Gurus.

CheapFareGuru is a ripoff!. They asked me for copies of my drivers license and credit card to confirm my reservation which I found strange. So I tried to cancel my reservations and was put on hold several times, then I was called back from two strange numbers not associated with ChepfareGuru, and when I tried to tell them I wanted to cancel the flights the operators hung up on me in the middle of my sentence. This happened 7 times in the space of 10 minutes. Then the last time I was able to speak with someone he claimed to not be able to hear me and said he will call me back which he did not as expected. This company's customer service agents are full of people from India and they are all scam artists and rude as hell. I will be filing a complaint with my Attorney General's Office against CheapFareGuru.

Bought a round trip ticket from them. Got an email few days later that the airline has cancelled the flights. They charged $75 even when they cancelled the flight. It's been about 2 weeks since I have requested a refund, but the refund is still not process. God knows how long will they take to refund my flight tickets. Still waiting

What a joke, I've been on hold for an hour and when someone actually answers the phone they want to transfer me so I can wait another hour. I finally got through again, This person wanted to transfer me again until I raised my voice. In the end he transfered me just the same to a voice mail box to cancel my flight. The reason why I canceled, Ther Philippines on 11/29/2021 was open for tourists from 12/1/2021 to 12/15/2021. 12/1 and 12/2 I was reading about American tourist who had arrived. Then the country went back into lockdown. I purchased my ticket 12/1/2021/ I called the US State Dept. and they told me the newest update was 12/6/2021 when they locked the country down. My flight was booked for 12/8/2021. Yet, I have been on the phone for 5 hours trying to cancel this flight. Never again will I use this place.

I booked a flight to be with my nephew who was in ICU, had to cancel return trip. Was told I was given travel voucher NOT a refund. My nephew passed away, tried to book a flight home and was told by their representative that they don't do travel vouchers, i book our flights on a different site, I will Never do business with this horrible company again! The wait time to talk to someone is at least 30 minutes and they ended up with close to $900.00 dollars of mine!

I purchased tickets at 10:45am. Found cheaper tickets at 11:20am. I called customer support to only find out I would be charged $50 fee for canceling IN LESS THAN AN HOUR. Mind you it is $10 cheaper with the actual airline. This is unacceptable and misleading. I will NOT use this company NOR will I recommend this company to anyone. On my receipt, it clearly reflects $10 booking fee; however, the company is in need of a profit at my expense.

I have gone through cheapfareguru multiple times with no problems until I had to cancel a trip due to my mothers passing. I purchased travel insurance, the cost of my flight was refunded in June 2021. In November 2021 Cheapfareguru charged me a $50 processing fee for cancelling my flight, even after I sent in my mothers death certificate and the airline refunded me, cheapfareguru added insult to injury in my mothers passing and charged me a fee 6 months later. I am told they do this all the time, it is their policy even in the event of a death. They have a terrible reputation because of their business practices and I would advise anyone to pay the extra money and DO NOT book through Cheapfareguru.

DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY! If you want to lose money or be cheated then book with this company. The customer service is horrific and they will keep your money and you lose your tickets! Beware your credit card information! They are scammers and thieves!

I booked a flight on this site, and after about 5 minutes realized I had made a mistake. I called to cancel or change my reservation and was told I have to call back after 9 am. I am at work call at 9:10 am I am told I will be charged 50$ for not calling before the ticket was issued. Not only did the site say free cancelations with in 24 hours But was told I could not cancel till after 9am. Went round and around and around with them till I said screw it and agreed to pay the 50$ and I would have a credit to book another fight. While booking another flight I was told I am being charged 60$ fee for rebooking This site is robbing people

This website is scam. All the charges are in USD and they just mentioned that in very small font to fool the people and apply charges. The person talked with me has no sense. They all are foolish Indian and running this scam and pretend to be foreigners by changing their name on call. Be aware.
