One-word Scammers! Their customer service sucks. Was kept on hold for hours and they are very rude. Will not answer any questions. Don't waste your time or money on them!
Stay away from this 3rd party booking site! Even if you pay for insurance to make sure you can rebook or get a refund, they WILL NOT do either of those things. They will tell you the airline is responsible and they stole your money. When the truth is it's the 3rd party's responsibility. They are beyond rude and clearly not an American company even if "Henry or Jeff" tell you they are in some of the worst broken English I've ever heard.
My step-son had to re-book his flight from Colonbia after the original flight was canceled. Even though he did all the work of rebooting, these crooks charged us $75 for that without even notifying us that they were doing so.
This really is a scam travel site. Maybe you'll be one of probably a few lucky ones to find a flight less than what booking direct with an airline is, but should there be ANY changes they will bleed your wallet. All types of hidden fees that are not always stated on their website. Agency booking fees, cancellation fees, rerouting fees, reissuing fees, travel insurance that is worthless. Should you manage to get through to the India customer service dept. you will be told different amounts of what the additional fees are when attempting to rebook with a credit. They are not transparent in their rebooking confirmations as they do not show a break down of the fees. Then they'll show an amount different from what they just quoted you on the phone. Brace yourself because then you'll have to start the phone call process again to clarify and correct. In short, cancel, reissue and reroute fees totaled over $200 for a domestic flight on SWA. Stay away from this site!
The worst experience and most disrespectful experience. They take your money and blame it on the airlines. My mother had ended up in the hospital prior to her flight and she called to cancel. She paid the extra money to hold her booking. When she called to reschedule her flight they "booked it" and charged her $599. Then they canceled her flight and refunded the $599. I called them to question what they were doing and they keep blaming the airline. The supervisor Adam listened to my concern and stated that they would need the medical records for why she had canceled and they would rebook her light. Guess what I did? I sent the records and my mom called to schedule her flight. They had her flight scheduled then once again canceled her flight and we're very disrespectful to her. I talked to an attorney and then I called back and spoke with the supervisor Henry. Money is non refundable and the airlines have it? They are thieves and don't keep their words. Please please please do not use them if you want a good experience then book directly with the airlines. My mother has been suffering trying to get back home to get her surgery and this company is a complete joke. Reporting to better BB as well.
Please do not use this garbage service. They never updated me regarding my flight cancellation until I reached the airport check in desk and they rescheduled me without my knowledge for day after which is useless for me. I called them since they are claiming "*******858 Help Available 24x7x365" multiple times. I have been trying to reach their customer service since 7/8/22. Their customer service reps, Leo, Bob and Etc. made me false promises stating they will credit my account and give follow up phone calls. I have attached my call log from previous weeks and as you can tell, I had to be on the call for long time and still no resolution. Do yourself a favor and never use this garbage service.
I booked a flight to Milwaukee on Tuesday. The flight was canceled because according to the Indian Cust. Service rep there was an "error" by the airline. They offered me an "alternate" selection, that was a higher price. Then they did the same thing on Wednesday; offering another alternative that was OF COURSE an increased fare. Then, they did it for the THIRD TIME today, Thursday 07/27/22. All three times there was an 'error' by the airline and the booking was canceled. Coincidence? I think not. They can pack sand if they're ever getting my business again.
This company will charge you if there are changes in your flight. I found out about our flight change, accepted the change from checking the airline directly myself after a friend told me of the changes. Weeks after I accepted the change, guru sent me an email informing me of the same change and charged me $25 to do so. When I objected to this charge, I was informed that they had to right to charge me up to $75 for such changes! Yikes! Don't use this company!

My bank notified me about a $25 credit card charge from Cheap flight Guru. Contacted Cheap Flight Guru for two days and no answer. Finally, they said it was for reissuing a new ticket. Their reason is that they are using a 3rd party and this is what they charge them, between $24 to $75. I did not ask for a new itinerary or ticket. I contacted my bank to cancel the unauthorized charge. Cheap Flight Guru sent me a HUGE none sense email. I went to different Cheap Flight advertising company for research, and DEFINITELY... Cheap Flight Guru are off... DO NOT USE THIS PEOPLE.
Booked tickets using them and then the airline changed the flights and we go stuck paying a 150.00 rebooking fee. We have NO control over the airline. We have had these booked since Feb. And have it changed twice. So we have paid 300.00 more in fees. I would love to provide the receipt but I cannot get it to download out of my email.

I checked my credit card statement, Cheap flight guru tagged on $50 charge for reissuing a new ticket. Their reason is that they are using a 3rd party and this is what they charge them. I did not ask for a new itinerary or ticket
I booked a flight from Cheapfareguru using Kayak. Everything was ok with the flight until the airline changed the departure flight to 45 minutes earlier. Cheapfareguru sent me a notice asking me to confirm that I received the change and they could exchange and re-validate the ticket. I confirmed that as many airlines change flight times when flights are booked a number of months in advance. 6 days after confirming that I received the change I received an email that I was being charged a $25 per person reissue/re validation fee. When I called, I got someone who only stated they are charging the fee with no real reason. There was NOTHING in the notice about additional fees. Under conditions of contract there is NO mention of fees to re-validate tickets when the airline changes the time of the flight. (I must include her that the flight is still 5 months away). I am afraid that this company may charge me $25 per person every time the flight is changed and that could be a number of times yet. THIS COMPANY IS A TOTAL RIPOFF! This is a $163 flight so cancelling it will cost me $100 in addition to the $25 per person I am being forced to pay for the "change."
Our flight was canceled and we were put on another flight by American Airlines. CHEAP FARE charged us $150! I called American Airlines they said NO NO NO! This was a canceled flight your 3rd party should NOT charge you! I called Cheap Fare!

CheapFareGuru will take your money and keep taking your money. Do not buy their insurance, because they won't give back your money, no matter what. Initially, they even attached an extra fee that I did not see. Then our flight was changed, so they charged me for the change, that I did not request. When I called the airline, they told me there will not be any costs. So, basically they are stealing money from you. I tried to call and put in a complaint. I was told this is how they charge you. So, basically you should never use them to book a flight. From now on I will make my own plane reservations.
Tried to reschedule my flight after having COVID, with proof of documentation. I purchased the insurance to make sure my trip was protected. The cancellation fee RIDICULOUS, the rescheduling fee RIDICULOUS. Its cheaper just to buy ticket without using my credit.
