Fraud site!
February 11, 2019

Beware of this website! When you book a ticket, they give you a call and say that they are conferencing with your credit card agency, then they ask about your credit card number, first and last name, phone number and finally their bait is to ask your "Social security number"

This is a fraud site. I didnt agree to give my social security number and they threatened me that they will cancel my ticket.

I asked them to go ahead and cancel my ticket. Beware of this fraud website guys!

The worst booking agency i ever met, mainly from some "clever" Indian people. They have hidden fee and do not provide you any service at all. They threatened me and hang up the phone! They did not booked anything for me but charged me $56 book fee and $75 canceling fee. They do not allow 24h free canceling, as everyone book agent does. So mad and upset about this f__king people

No mercy!
January 3, 2019

After making a reservation with CheapFare
Guru the government shut down and I will not get my passport in time. This was a non refundable ticket and after explaining my situation they showed no mercy and certainly no help in coming up with a solutionie a credit perhaps. Daniel and Steve from India were so impatient it grew more frustrating by the minute. After contacting the airline to see what my options were they said the reservation had to be cancelled to move forward for a possible refund/credit. I called back the Cheap Guru and That's when I spoke to Daniel. He said "we don't cancel reservationsif you can take this trip, show up that day. If you can't-don't show upbut we don't cancel.
What does that even mean? So I am out the airfare because of my passport fiasco and frustrated with the lack of compassion on the part of this company. I even bought the trip insurance which does not cover the issue with my passport. I or my husband would have to suffer a near fatal accident or health issue to be refunded according to Kathy at Travelex.
Although she understood my frustrationoh well no help their either. Needless to say I'm sadder but wiser... if the deal seems to good to be trueit probably is. And you get what you pay for.
There are so many other good sites out there you don't need to shop here. Lesson learned!

I looked up a flight from Seattle to India and found a really great deal of $1054 and went ahead to pay for this. Then I get an error that the ticket I was looking for has suddenly increased their price and I must call the customer service right away. All this popped up after I had entered my card details. I called and the rep said that the flight was now $200 more expensive. I decided not to get it from them. Next morning I checked the flight price again and found out that the flight I was about to pay for the day before was $1084. So this time I decided to call customer service and asked to purchase that deal. I was immediately told that the price listed online was not completely updated and the flight would be $1126. This wasn't that bad so I went ahead and booked the flight. I got a text to add some initials but nowhere it said the final price of the flight. Michael, the customer service guy, verified the price and assured me that it would be $1126. Next morning, I checked my bank account and I was charged $1277. It was over 24 hours from the booking time so I couldn't cancel the flight anymore, moreover, the reps stopped answering my calls. Everytime, I called I was told Michael wasn't available. When I finally got a hold of him, he said that he remembered having a conversation with me and would check with his manager. The next day, even he denied having any such conversation. These people are committing fraud and the link they send people in the beginning to confirm flight details, don't have any information about price but after the payment has been deducted from the account, they add the price to the document. If you want to save your money, don't buy from them.

The customer service is terrible. You often have to wait on hold for an hour to talk with someone. Also watch the fine print. I had some travel issues and the company convinced me that I could cancel and reschedule by paying a fee plus the difference in airfare. Unfortunately, I realized too late that I need to travel within one year of the original ticket purchase. If I had purchased directly with the airline, I would have had two years to use the credit. I think the the CheapFareGuru pushed me in this direction so they could sell my ticket at a higher price. I will not use them again and recommend against using them.

Am a sufferer. They changed my itinerary without my consent. I had a return flight from dhaka to JFK via abu dhabee. With a layover of 9 hours at abu dhabee which wish to spent of going out for visit to to grand mosque and Ferrari world. But they changed my flight time with a layover of 2 hrs, which is devastating to me and my wife.
I strongly urge and recommend to everybody not to make any deal with is fraud travel sight. Their customer service is stupid. They never answer when u call for solving a situation. So I warn everybody about this website.

I booked a ticket to Amsterdam on the cheap with insurance. Their site it weird and takes your card info right away but doesn't charge immediately, has to verify? Whatever. I received a text message two hours later and assumed it was a confirmation of my ticket, but it wasn't. It said there was an issue with my card, "credit limit exceeded/not activated/insufficient funds" and advised me to call my issuer and then call them back at a number included in the text. I was livid as I knew I had the funds and the card was active, I could only assume it was the credit limit. So I called Capital One assuming it was there issue only to find... their was no limit on the card and there was no pending charge from the company that had been declined by them. Weird, I thought, and I immediately called the number they provided to relay the news. I tried calling the number they provided by kept getting an message it was no longer in service. So I googled a customer service number and tried that one. Cue to being on hold for 40 minutes, with the most obnoxious hold music, I finally got ahold of a representative. I explained I called my card issuer and there was no issue and asked if I could confirm my card information. I gave them my information and verified it was correct, they attempted to run it again and again, it declined. Bull$#*!! I thought to myself. I then thought '$#*! it' I'll just book through another site because I know this card is good. So I found an even cheaper ticket (huzzah!) through Travelocity and booked it with the same card immediately, WITH NO ISSUE. So I thought everything had been resolved, right? WRONG! Woke up this morning to find a ticket confirmation from them and magically pending charges on my account from them that had failed twice. Needless to say I disputed it with CapitalOne as unauthorized. TL; DR: Their booking process sucks - flights are not immediately booked like on other sites, getting ahold of customer service is a nightmare and they're just all around not reputable. Look at the other reviews and save yourself the trouble!

I booked the tickets to europe online recently, code verification was done and I'm waiting for ticket processing. Good price compared to other websites. But instead of receiving the tickets, I was told by an email to call the company ASAP to verify other information they need. I have no idea what else they need at this point. But I tried all best to contact them. The fact is i can never get connected to someone@ three phone numbers. The customer service line was busy 24/7! And i did receive two phone calls from the company during this period of time; BUT, each time I picked up their phone call and answered, they hanged off the phone immediately once they heard my voice via the phone. I don't know how to reach them. Or maybe everything is fake, they just found an excuse for not processing the tickets. They don't really want to talk to the costumers. I will not feel surprised if I'm told that the price of my ticket changed because of the delay of my response in the next a few days!

Have booked 2 European trip tickets at a $250 savings for each. Process painless. Have confirmed through the airlines that I am ticketed (and filled in additional info needed such as passport info). I did have to pay a nominal fee to insure an aisle but given savings was well worth it.

I only gave one star because you can't give 0! DO NOT BOOK THROUGH THEM! Terrible customer service. We purchased insurance and due to a passport issue going to Sweden I was unable to use a very expensive ticket. They did not honor the credit even with the insurance. Plus they were extremely rude about it.

I had read mixed reviews online but I got an amazing deal on my flight from LAX to Manila and it was with American Airlines. Very satisfied and best price out there. Will be checking them out as well to see if they have good prices. I did not have any problem with the service.

Run far far away! Too good to be true!

DON'T DO IT.

(I'd give LESS stars if I could!)

This was the first time I had ever used this company. I made a reservation for tickets to Italy with them. The policy was a full refund if you cancelled in 24 hrs. Or less. The airline was Iberia. After booking, I had some doubts about the airline and looked up reviews. Awful was not the word. It was one horror story after another. So, I cancelled my reservation (note, this was less than 2 hrs. After making it). They did not send me a confirmation of my cancellation. After badgering them, I received an email that said that they had cancelled it; it was worded strangely, with no credit amount indicated--nothing. I had also purchased the trip insurance they offered with the ticket, and made sure that it was refundable within 24 hrs. As well. They made no mention of this in the email. I had to send FOUR emails before they responded with an email stating that BOTH the amount for the tickets and insurance would be refunded. Thank goodness I pushed; when I got my VISA bill, the insurance amount had not been credited. They would not answer my emails, so I disputed the charge. The VISA company was even having problems until I sent them the email that stated both would be refunded. The refund was then issued. I now understand why they were so cagey about putting anything in writing stating the amount to be refunded, as every other company does... usually an email confirmation of your cancellation is sent with the amount to be refunded. VISA said without that email that I had insisted on getting from them I would have never won the dispute, due to that the way they set up their policy--purposely not straightforward. This site is fraudulent in my opinion--use it at your own risk.

Don't book tickets with this company. Cheapfareguru.com is completely fraudulent. When you make the reservation they will issue tickets from lastminutefaredeal.com (another fraudulent company). I made the reservation on 27th 1:40Central, representative told me everything is fine. After one day that is 28th around 2:00 AM I received a mail saying that my ticket price got increased and asking me to pay more. My credit card also charged for the amount. When I call to customer care, it take almost 30 minutes but not connecting. Even the representative disconnecting my call after picked up. We should file the complaint against the company and make them close the business before another person gets cheated.
