A/C Highlander

Called Car Shield about repairing my vehicle a/c.
I was instructed on the procedure that I needed to follow and they helped me find an a/c mechanic in my area that had been approved by Car Shield. We followed the mechanic's instructions. The same day Car Shield representative called us on a two call with the mechanic. The mechanic explained the repair options and the rep indicated what Car Shield would do. After discussing the matter, we agreed to have the mechanic do the repairs. Less than 24 hours the mechanic called for me to pick up my vehicle. All I had to do was to pay the $100 deductible. The entire process took 48 hours and my car a/c unit is working wonderfully.

One experiance

I had never had to use your service until a few months ago. I needed to replace a transmission. This was when I found out that I didn't't deal directly with Car Shield but had to go through one of your Brokers. The dealer, Hewlett Chevrolet did the communication with your Broker and the process was very slow. First it was delayed several days because they were going to send an inspector which they didn't then they wouldn't return voice mails to the dealer. The worst. Part was because Hewlett wouldn't allow them to provide the transmission, it cost me $2000 because the GM cost was $9000 and your broker said they could get one for $7000. GM dealers don't accept other than GM parts, because they can't guarantee their work with unknown sourced parts. I have since replaced my truck so I no longer need your service.
