Not good i use GM parts on my GMC they say you will not pay for GM parts i want my vehicle fixed with the best parts so I am not happy.

A warning light in my car went on. I immediately had it towed and went to my mechanic. My alternator was no longer good.
I contacted carshield and was advised. It would not be covered because it was less than twenty five days. The service rep was excellent.
However, how could somebody plan an alternator dying? I paid for the repair.

My alternator on my van went out. CarShield covered the part and labor. I had to pay my $100 deductible and the tax but that was all. They sent the part through FedEx Priority Overnight. FedEx screwed up and it actually took 3 more days to arrive but the mechanic got it installed as soon as it came. I am very happy with the service I received from CarShield and Midas.
