I had taken my car to my regular garage only to find out that they did not take car shield. So I called car shield and they sent a tow truck to take it to another place that was really close to my house. My car was fixed the next day. I did have to pay for a couple of things that the car shield did not cover, but it was still way cheaper than would it would have cost me without it. And no charge for the tow.
Had no problem with the help from car shield they where able to resolve my issue

I had to continue to call and gain updates on claim. Adjuster never responded to my emails and voicemails. Was given different information on rental car.
Continued get text messages asking for information that had already been submitted.
To date have not received any notification that claim was approved, I had to gain that information from service provider at dealership.

I could not get online thru the app to review my policy. I was told that the app was not working and that she would send me a PSF of my policy. I never got that PDF.

I found everyone I spoke to to be professional and helpful. I received a rental car without any issues, and the staff coordinated with the dealership on my behalf. My transmission was successfully repaired, and when I picked up my car, I only needed to pay the deductible. The only concern I have is that the transmission was refurbished rather than new.

I called about my window motor which they said they would cover; I was also told if the dealer kept my car for more than 4 hours I could get a rental. Well, they kept my car overnight to diagnose it, and when I called about the rental I was told, oh, that's 4 hours or more of labor. Crazy and information I should have had up front. Turns out it wasn't the motor but the master switch on the drivers side and carshield conveniently does not cover that part. I'm thinking of canceling and putting that money in a high-yield savings account. I've had car shield for over 3 yrs and of the 3 times I tried to use it they only covered one instance, a windshild wiper motor.
This is the second claim by my dealer. The first one was denied, as I expect this in to be. Right now I am not happy with anyone bcause between your adjuster, and the dealer I have been without my car for three weeks.

It took several phone calls between myself and Carshield and the mechanic and Carshield to get approval for the repairs I needed. The advertised service is not as great as it let's on. Switching warranty companies!

Once I found out issue, I called Car Shield. Customer Service walked me through the procedures. Repair shop coordinated with Car Shield until repairs were completed.
