My truck was not drivable and was taken to an authorized CarShield station for repairs. CarShield didn't cover any of the associated towing and repair costs.
Rear cameras were pushed in and warning sound was constantly going off. CarShield said trim piece that cameras were set on was not covered. Cost me $930.00 out of pocket. This does not sound right. Trim piece had to be removed to get to cameras that were replaced.

But you said no, just another bore scope will have to be down. The dealership did not want to wait for your inspecters to come out. Then i get a voice mail call from your company saying that my claim is closed. Also they offered to bring it to anthor shop. So, I am out over $4,800, because of your company. I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the monthly Powertrain Gold plan. You might think you are covered for the powertrain, but you may not be. Read and reread and get a mechanic to read the coverage that you are getting. My transmission started giving me trouble, took to a dealer. I was told that I would be responsible for any portion CarShield did not pay. Dealer contacted CarShield and it was denied based on the warranty (some parts in the transmission are not covered). Again, please read what is covered under the warranty. This is going to cost me 4000 dollars plus the monthly payments that I have made.

I have been waiting to get reimbursed for a repair made to my 2011 Buick Regal for more than 5 working days. I was told it should have been sent out no later than the 26th of September. William Redden

Was 6 days late hearing from my claim and my rental ran out. Was charged way too much for labor from the garage that is out of my control. Not at all was was advertised and I'm without a car.

Took my car 21 of the recommended auto repair places from car shield the repair place calls me and says that car shield will not pay the full amount I think your warranty is a bunch of b******* I'm ready to cancel your warranty and tell everybody what kind of h******** insurance that you're trying to pull. I was able to resolve the issue about the coverage for my car repair. Unfortunately, not all repairs are covered and that depends on the level of the coverage one carries. I wished that I could have saved a little more out of pocket for the repair I needed.

Throughout the years that I have had Car Shield I can honestly say that their record of payment has been excellent. This has to be at least five years. My most recent experience has been this month. They always come through and pay for the repairs.

They covered the replacement of the master brake cylinder but they didn't cover the water pump because it was only "weeping" and not gushing coolant. If I end up loosing coolant they will end up replacing the engine instead. LOL.

Fuel pump issues. Car shield paid for some repairs, but not for new fuel pump.
