I purchased the service 2 months before my Subaru's warranty expired. My only problem with Car Shield is that I'm still receiving sale pitches 3 months later. I just hope when I have a problem with my car, you'll remember me and provide the services that I need.
So I have Car Shield and noticed something wrong with my vehicle but thought it was bad gas and it started getting worse so my warranty kicked in a couple of days and all of a sudden they asked for pictures and everything which I gave what they needed and so did shop but because I thought it was bad gas and it was shifting fine they denied it said happened before I had coverage but I didn't know it was what I was told as all gears shifted normal in transmission but that's what it needs! So I'd never ever go with them because they don't seem to want to pay! They suck!

Had an issue with my vehicle, and came to find out it needs an engine. They came to the repair shop within 2 days and approved the engine replacement. It arrived within 5 days. I also rented a vehicle while mine's being fixed.

Needing some work done on my vehicle. There were a couple of things going on with the vehicle, but not all the issues were not coveraged under the warranty. I was glad that two of the issues were covered, but I wasn't to happy with the warranty coverage, because it didn't cover all the cost for the parts, so I had to come out of pocket to pay extra for the parts.

Having no income for a couple of months, I called and talked to a representative about this and he made arrangements to pause my automatic payment till the end of October.
I started getting notifications about my automatic payment be taken out at the first of October, so I called again and talked to another representative, and she confirmed that the automatic payment would not be taken out till the end of October, but the was not the case. It was taken out on the 6th of October.
I was completely lied too.
What kind of company is this?
I think I should look at canceling my membership and finding a better one, the does what they say they will do.

I would recommend this service to you. As soon as you contact service they take over and organize with the repair location. You are given a claim number. Payments are made directly to the repair shop. When you pick up your vehicle the balance of the deductible and any additional parts or service is paid to them. They spent days processing the problem, and then ordered the replacement transmission and its at least 17 days out and then 3-4 days installing and we get a rental car for 14 days and total days without the truck is going to be around 30 days, but it we got a rental for 14. Wow that part really sucks and needs improvement.

I was hoping I could have been covered when my car went bad, with me able to go only 10mph. I got the car to a garage, where they did fixed the problem and then I submitted the bills. They were denied because I didn't get "prior approval". I was told that I should have had the garage call CS and explain what was happening. Meanwhile, I needed to get the car fully functioning again. Had a known about the "prior approval" doctrine, I could have followed it accordingly and gotten reimbursed. Guess I'll know for next time, but this still was disappointing.

Received a call from an associate asking about a recent change in payment. Had to change payment information so that the billing would be taken care of in a timely manner. Don't remember the exact date but it was in mid September
