I once loved my 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee but, it's lustre has faded over time mostly because it's not a dependable vehicle. Thank goodness for CarShield. They've been there on several occasions and have saved me thousands of dollars in repair costs. This time they even picked up the cost of a rental while my car was in the shop. I highly recommend giving them a try if you're in the market for an extended warranty.

I can't get why it's taking too long to get the necessary parts or lack of communication between the parts department, wrong parts being sent to repair shop, poor communication with customer overall throughout the entire process has been totally unacceptable.

They only covered about 75% of the expenses. According to the contract, it fell short of what should have been covered after the deductible.

I had a transmission problem with one of my cars. I notified CarSThe television Adshield, and they told me to take it to a reputable repair shop. ~ The repair shop was authorized to make the repair, and the process went smoothly.

Our transmission went out in our Equinox and at a time when we were all experiencing very cold snowy weather. It took a little longer to get it done but it is done and we are very pleased.

Car shield is a scam. I signed on with car shield in order to offset the little things on my car that insurance didn't cover. When my car ended up having transmission issues it took forever for them to get me into a shop. They finally told me to go to a place and the shop and car shield had zero communication with each other and my car sat there for almost 2 months. I was on the phone with the mechanic and car shield nonstop because they failed to communicate with each other. I was doing more work than car shield. Eventually I pulled my car out of that garage and brought it to a different car shield affiliated shop. When I finally got it to the other shop, I ended up paying for my own diagnostics and almost paying 100% of the repair cost for the issue with my car. Car shield didn't do anything except draw this process out for almost 3 months. I ended up paying more with car shield. Not only did I pay for my own replacements, but I also had to pay them a monthly fee for nothing.
Long story short car shield is a scam. You might as well just save the money that you'd pay them each month and just stash it away so you can fix your car if it breaks down. In the end you will be paying way more with car shield.

First time I actually had to test my CarShield policy was when I had taken my mother and aunt out of town a hundred seventy miles from home. Just dropped my aunt off at her daughter's house. And suddenly my car wouldn't start. True to their word a tow truck picked up my and a rental until my car was serviced. Fuel pump had gone out and it was over nine hundred dollars and gotten home a few days later an issue came up with the installation of the pump. Took it back to the mechanic who corrected the problem with no fuss no muss. Just good honest service.
