Don't trust carshield

They are incompetent
They don't give enough rental car coverage for long term repairs

They do unauthorized charges on credit cards

The customer service agent was great.

The agent was very knowledgeable and helped me navigate the app. I was having trouble getting the app to work. She walked me through it and even took care of walking me through the payment process. She was very personable and a pleasure to talk with.

I have auto withdrawal and new the money would not be in account. So I called carsheld and they waited a couple days. So I didn't get charged extra fees. That was very nice.

Great job

I called car shield because I had a fuel pump problem in my car and a covered most of it which made me very happy it would have cost me over $1,000 and they paid almost $600 of it so it only cost me around $400 so I thank you very much for helping me out and I always keep my car shield

Very slow process communication between repair shop and the agency. It took about a month to get the vehicle repaired.

Very unsatisfied experience

I was on the phone with customer service to pay my bill and I asked a question about bundling my two accounts into one payment. I was in formed by a recent encounter that it was ok. When I asked if my payments would still by bundled she replied no. I asked why and she proceeded to tell me it wasn't going to happen in a very rude manner. I then asked to speak to someone else because she was being rude and she told me sorry that you feel that way. She then continued to explain my policy and again I asked could I please speak to someone else. She said "Let me Finish Talking". Again I asked please could I speak to someone else and asked who I was speaking to. She refused to tell me then hung up on me. I had to call back to confirm my payment was processed with another representative.

However, you can request a change to your due dates so that both payments will occur on the same day, in two separate transactions. Had to pay $2000 upfront because CarShield will not pay it. The shop did not want to fix my car because they think they're not going to pay them.

Davion, after further review, it appears the Administrator is requiring a tear-down to determine the cause of failure, as we can only cover the parts listed for coverage on your policy.
