Ordered a mirror for drivers side because OEM is ~$1000. The first one that came in didn't fold right. I contacted customer service. They asked if I wanted a replacement and I said yes. The part was on backorder so I asked if I could keep it on my truck until the new one came in for safety reasons. They said that was fine. A few weeks later and the replacement works like a charm! Would do business here again. Customer service is top notch and reached out to make sure it was right!
We recently purchased a window regulator for our 1998 Durango. The part we received, is in fact listed for our vehicle on CarParts.com and the part manufacturer website. However, the wiring was at least ten inches shorter, and did not reach the wiring harness on the door. Other than the wire being short and polarity reversed, the construction of the part was far superior to the one currently in the door (Installed two years ago by the dealer). We needed the car for an upcoming trip and could not wait for an exchange, so we cut off the wires and spliced the old, longer wire connections to complete the install. Ok sounds terrible so far right. Here's the surprise.
After posting our experience with the part on the CarParts website, their customer service provided a surprising and quite satisfactory response. (We never contacted the customer service department. They reached out to us).
We do not blame CarParts.com for the manufacturer's error on the part and will not hesitate to buy from them again. As the overall part design seems superior, we may even buy from the same manufacturer with the knowledge a bit of customizing may be required, once again NOT the fault of CarParts.com.

As a Canadian staying in the states for 2 weeks I thought I'd take advantage of some deals on car parts I don't get at home. I ordered a headlight assembly and a grill. Pricing was fantastic and delivery was fast. Unfortunately the grill suffered damage in transport. I didn't have time return the product and decided I'd make due. I was asked for a review of my experience and shared my disappointment. Life goes on. I was surprised by a follow up call and an email offering an apology and a discount on the damaged product. Nice to deal with such a professional organization interested in customer satisfaction.

I ordered a grill for my car a few months ago. It arrived within 1-2 weeks so fairly quick. However, when it arrived, one of the mounting points was broken and a second one broke minutes after fumbling with it. They weren't crucial for the install but it did worry me a little bit. I wrote a review on the piece saying that it was exactly what I needed but that it arrived broken. About a month later, Carparts reached out to me offering either a replacement grill if I hadn't already installed it, or $15 refund. Like I mentioned already, the the mounting points weren't crucial so I went ahead and just installed it. So I asked for the refund instead and it was deposited within a day or two. The person over the phone seemed a bit shy but overall a pleasant experience. Would definitely recommend.

I ordered a set of side marker lights. They sent the items in separate bags. One bag made it to the house with no problems. The other bag no idea where it is. I was provided 2 separate shipping numbers since they were shipped separately. The missing item the shipper says they received the request for shipment but the item has not been turned over to them. I called and was told there was nothing they could do for 15 business days. "That's all we can do". Not happy with this company. If it was a set of marker lights being shipped from the same facility then why not ship in the same bag. Customer service is extremely unhelpful. I can't wait to call back and see what run around I get then. I still need the part and paid for it. If you need parts. Seriously look at other sources.

After waiting 11 days for my part and multiple emails to customer service my part arrived. I was promised a refund which I have not received yet. Be cautious and look at dealing with other businesses before you choose to deal with carparts.com. Their shipping and customer service are a joke!

We received the supposedly new radiator, hubby was finally able to install it today, got it all installed, put antifreeze in, started his jeep up, low & behold, everything leaked out because the drain plug was broken, he looked under all the papers in the box & found a piece of the drain plug broken off, not happy & definitely will not order from here again nor recommend... That round piece was down inside the radiator.

I purchased a part from CarParts on line and had problems installing it. After a lot of grief and telling them of my problems, they processed a return. The part was damaged at my fault and then the customer service employee, Shen, contacted me and offered a refund. This was no fault of theirs, but they are still going to refund this anyway. They really care what happens to the people who deal with them! This is unheard of in today's market and was a big help to me. I tried to handle this on the phone and was just hung up by a supervisor there after she repeatedly interrupted me, I never used one swear word either. I found the site and told my Niece about it so she ordered a catalytic converter kit for her 2004 VW Passat V6 2.8L car. The converters were welded to the pipe which is nice and came with 2 o2 sensors. We also got a smaller box which I thought was strange as it also included 2 o2 sensors. I figured it might be a mistake and used the 2 that came with the converters only to realize they were for the same side of the car, neither had a notch on the connector. I opened the small box and it had one cable with a notch on the connector but was only about 2 feet long which is way too short. They then reached out and the company said their system doesn't allow an even exchange and refunded 40 dollars for us to buy the new o2 sensor and that one was the wrong one as well. I decided to talk to them to see if we can get the right one and they can ensure it and the guy I spoke to said they didn't have the same brand as the kit one in stock and they had another one which was 70 dollars some change and after tax and shipping would cost 90 dollars. I explained that we are dealing with a bad original order and he would only shave off 10 dollars, I would still be paying double what they refunded me for. I tried talking to a supervisor and she kept interrupting me saying because it's another brand it's a different price. I explained that this has been over a month and it's only another brand because you don't have the same brand in stock and the order has been messed up twice. I can go to AutoZone or O'Riley's and get it for 10 bucks more and have it today. I asked her that there should be some compensation because it's not my fault the order was messed up twice and that they are out of stock of the same brand and she hung up on me. I will be ordering it from one of the two aforementioned businesses since not only are they going to charge me double but also were very rude to me. Prior to supervisor I was on hold for about 20-25 minutes and there was no communication between the parts specialists and his supervisor as I had to repeat everything including prior order numbers. In the future I will avoid this site unless necessary until they fix their customer service issues and quality control issues. KIT is KIT1-*******-16-A

They were very kind and understand, of my frustration when I really wasn't too happy with a dealy that was off more than it stated on the website. However, the carpets did fix and go refund the shipment cost. It was the people doing delivery that was the issue, not the company itself. I appreciate that refund back

Ordered a window regulator for my 99 jeep grand cherokee. Was sent wrong part. Spent 30 minutes on phone, just waiting to talk to someone who barely spoke English. My part I ordered is more than a week late and sitting in a city two hours away for 7 days in the middle if it's shipment. When I inquired to customer service they only start a return. Computer generated response, terrible customer service, $#*!ty shipping service- need I say more?
